Hoya POV

The next morning, Sungyeol was running around trying to get ready for his day with her.

"Hey Sungyeol!" I called out to him.

He ran over to me and asked "What's up?"

"Can I talk to you for a second?" I nodded my head towards my room.

He came inside and I closed the door. "What do you want? Something wrong?"

"Can you do me a favor?" I rubbed the back of my head.

"Sure! What do you want?"

I pulled out one of my credit cards and handed it to him. "While you are out with her today......if you see that she really likes something.... Do you think you could buy it for me?"

He seemed a bit confused. "You want me to buy her a present with your card?"

"Yeah" I blushed.

"Do you like her?" he asked and I blushed more. Then he started chuckling "Don't worry. I think you look good together." He looked at my card and asked "What kind of gift do you want to get her?"

"I don't know" I answered honestly. "What do you think girls like?"

"I don't know" he shrugged his shoulders. "I'll text you before I buy anything."

"Thanks!" I smiled.

He stood up and then quickly grabbed the rest of his stuff before leaving.

HwaYi POV

The next morning, the Unnies had a hard time waking me up.

Honestly, I didn't want to stay in New York anymore. I just wanted the week to be over with, so I could return to being myself again. Ever since I came to New York with the guys, my emotions have been tossed around left and right. I was having a difficult time because I knew how I felt, but at the same time I knew that I shouldn't be feeling this way. Why did this have to happen to me?

"Are you okay?" one off the Unnies asked.

I tried to smile "I'm okay. Just a little tired."

The Unnies didn't press the matter, so I was thankful. They finished getting me ready and I went downstairs to see who I would be with today. Thankfully, only Sungyeol was waiting for me.

He bounced over to me joyfully and asked "You ready to go and have fun?"

I smiled and said "Yes!" I really need a day of fun right now.

Sungyeol grabbed my hand a dragged me down the streets. It almost looked like we were heading to Central Park again, but he turned up a different street. When he finally stopped, we were standing in front of a store with two men dressed like British Soldiers at Buckingham Palace. Sungyeol grabbed my hand and we walked over to the guards.

"Can we have a picture?" Sungyeol asked one of the men.

"Of course!" They beamed.

Sungyeol pulled out his phone and we posed for a picture with them. Then one of the guards opened the door and we walked inside. I was shocked when I saw that it was a toy store. Sungyeol and I looked at each other and then we smiled and ran all over the place. When we got up stairs, I was shocked to see the Big Piano on the floor and remembered watching the movie Big. I walked over to the attendant and asked if we were allowed to play on it and he said yes.

"Sungyeol! Get over here!"

He ran over and asked "What is it?"

"Want to play the piano?" I pointed to the Big Piano.

"Daebak!" he smiled as he took his turn on the piano. I stepped aside and took some pictures and a short video of him playing around. I was surprised that he even managed to play a little bit of 'Only Tears' on it. Then he came running over to me and grabbed my hand. "What are you doing? Come play too!"

He dragged me in and we had a little fun playing chopsticks to a round of applause by onlookers, then we took a picture together and continued to walk through the store.

As we were making our way out of the store, I lost track of Sungyeol. I made it outside and hoped that I could find him there. Suddenly, I saw him coming out of the store and I ran over to him. "Where were you?"

"Just had to get this" he pointed to the bag he was holding.

"Oh" I nodded.

"Here!" he handed the bag to me.

"What?"

"It's for you" he smiled.

I opened the bag and saw a cute Hello Kitty holding an apple with the initials NY on it. "Oh my God! It's so cute! How did you know I liked Hello Kitty?"

"I saw you looking at the display earlier" he blushed. "I thought you might like a little memento of your time with us."

"Thank you!"

"So, what do you want to do now?" he asked and I was confused.

"What do you mean? I thought you guys had everything planned."

"Well, this is the only store I really wanted to go to. I was going to let you decide what to do after."

I thought for a moment and then said "I'd really like to get a gift for someone, but I don't know what he would like. Maybe you could help me out?"

"Sure!" he grabbed my hand and we began walking past some shops. Finally he stopped in front of a jewelry store. "This will be perfect!"

"Are you crazy?" I screamed. "Why would I buy a guy jewelry?"

"Just come on" he grabbed my hand and pulled me inside. "Look" he pointed to the case in front of us.

I looked down and saw it was filled with watches. "Oh" I blushed a little.

"A watch would be a perfect gift. Don't you think?"

"Yes, it would" I smiled back at him.

The store attendant pulled out a few of the watches and I asked Sungyeol to model a couple of them for me so that I could choose the one I liked best.

After picking the watch I wanted to buy, the attendant asked "Is there anything else you would like?"

"No that will be all. Could you wrap it for me?"

"Yes Miss."

While the attendant wrapped the watch and rang me up, I decided to look around at the jewelry. I may not be able to afford to buy anything, but a girl can dream right?

As I was looking around, my eyes landed on a very pretty necklace. There was no way I would be able to afford it, but I still liked looking at it. I guess I had been staring at it for quite a while because the attendant came over and asked "Would you like to try it on?"

I looked up at her shocked. "No" I shook my head and waved my hands. "How much do I owe you?"

She told me the price of the watch and I gave her my credit card. I still can't believe I'm buying this watch. He probably has tons of them.

While waiting for her to return, I just stared at the necklace. It was so pretty. I wish I had a boyfriend who would buy me something like this.

It took a while for the attendant to come back with my card, but when she did, I quickly signed it. Then I grabbed my purchase and quickly left the store. If I stayed too much longer, I might be tempted to actually buy that necklace.

Sungyeol came running out after me. "What's the matter?" he asked.

"Nothing. I was just getting a bit nervous being in there. Buying gifts can be difficult for me."

"Why?"

"I'm always nervous that the person won't like what I picked out, so I keep second guessing myself. Sometimes I get so nervous, I just return the gift before leaving the store."

"Ahh" he nodded. "Well considering I helped you buys it, I know he'll love it!" he smiled.

"Thanks!" I smiled back.

We went back to the hotel and I put my things away. I looked at the watch I had bought and sighed "I guess I should give it to him before I really change my mind." I grabbed the gift and went down to the garden.

Hoya POV

It took a while before Sungyeol texted me ~ She seems to like Hello Kitty. Want me to buy a stuffed animal? ~

"A stuffed animal?" ~ I really want to surprise her ~ I texted back. ~ Can you think of something else? ~

A little bit later he texted ~ How about jewelry? ~

"Jewelry?" my eyes widened. I thought about it for a minute and began smiling to myself. "I could see giving her a pair of earrings or a......" I blushed at the thought of a ring. ~ Sure, do you have anything in mind? ~

~ Not yet ~ he replied.

It took a while before he texted back ~ She seems to really like a necklace ~

"A necklace?" I thought about it and smiled. ~ Get it! ~ I can't believe I'm doing this! I must have gone crazy!

When Sungyeol returned, he came to my room and gave me my card back. "Here it is" he said as he handed me the bag.

I opened it and was shocked. I don't think I would have ever been able to pick something as perfect as this. "She likes this?" I asked.

"Yeah! She just kept staring at it. I bet she would have bought it herself if she stayed in the store longer" he chuckled. Then
Sungyeol grabbed the rest of his stuff and went off to his room.

I placed the necklace in a safe spot and relaxed. Later that night I went down to the gardens. I hope she is feeling better. I walked around for a little bit and then I saw her sitting on the bench. I walked over to here and said "Hi HwaYi!"

"Hi Hoya!" she smiled back at me. I guess she is feeling better.

"Did you have fun today?" I asked as I sat next to her.

"Yeah! I didn't know a toy store could be so much fun!" She pulled out her phone and began showing pictures of them playing on a big piano.

"That looks like fun!"

"It was!" she beamed.

I'm really glad she is back to herself. I was so worried about her. "So...... What else is on your list of things to do in New York?"

She looked up at me confused, but then began thinking. "Well..... Central Park is definitely done" she chuckled a bit. "Natural History Museum and The Statue of Liberty are already done too. So that would leave....... Coney Island, Times Square and...... The Empire State Building."

I guess she has thought of visiting New York a lot. "At least you've been able to cross off some of them" I smiled.

"Yeah" she smiled. We looked up at the stars and sat in silence for a while. Then she suddenly coughed a little.

"You okay? You didn't catch a cold?" I was worried.

She was a little surprised by my worrying, but smiled and said "I'm fine." She picked something up from next to her and handed it to me. "For you."

"For me?" I was surprised. She nodded, so I opened the box and saw a watch.

"I just wanted to thank you for everything" she blushed a little.

"I really haven't done much" I rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment.

She blushed more, but said "After all of our conversations, you walk me back to my room. You also carried me to my room the other night and yesterday......" she trailed off for a bit. I guess she didn't want to talk about that. "Plus you bought me a shawl."

I blushed as she rambled off everything. I didn't think that I had done much for her, but apparently she thought differently. "Thank you. The watch is very nice."

"I'm sure you probably have tons of them, but I really didn't know what to get you."

"No! It's fine! I really do like it!" I tried to set her mind at ease, so I pulled the watch out of the box and put it on. "It fits really well too" I smiled.

"I'm glad that you like it and that it fits" she seemed a bit relieved.

I'm glad that she has cheered up since yesterday. I only wish I knew what was troubling her.

I looked down at my new watch and said "We should probably turn in early tonight. You're going to have a long day tomorrow."

She was a bit surprised. "How do you know that? Is it your day tomorrow?"

"I can't tell you. It's supposed to be a surprise."

She pouted a little, but stood up anyways. In truth, it's Woohyun's day tomorrow, but all of us are going together because of where he wants to go.

We walked up stairs and before she opened her door I said "Good Night HwaYi!" and gave her a hug.

"Good Night!" she blushed back at me before disappearing into her room.
