Part 4 - Sungjong
HwaYi POV
The next morning was the same as the last. My alarm rang and the coordi Unnies came to fetch me. I think they were really enjoying spending the time to dress me up for these outings.
"So are you guys going to give me any hints on where Sungjong is taking me today?"
"How did you know that you were going out with Sungjong today?" one of the Unnies asked. "We only found out this morning."
"Lucky guess" I chuckled.
They all shrugged their shoulders. "Sorry, but we already told you yesterday that we promised not to say anything."
"Okay" I sighed.
The Unnies quickly finished their work and practically pushed me out of the door chanting "Have fun!"
I made my way down to the lobby and found Sungjong waiting for me. "Noona, you look very pretty!" he smiled.
"Thank you" I smiled back.
"You ready to go?"
"Yup!"
Sungjong grabbed my hand and led me along the same path Myungsoo did the day before. Don't tell me we are going to Central Park again. I don't think I could stand walking for so long again.
When we got to where Central Park was, instead of crossing the street to the park, he dragged me up the street. Where on Earth was he taking me?
"Here we are!" he smiled as we stopped in front of one of the buildings. I looked up and smiled. I had recognized the building from a silly movie I had recently watched. "The Natural History Museum?"
"Yeah!" he smiled again.
I smiled along with him and said "Let's go!"
We got inside and Sungjong immediately ran over to buy our tickets. Once in hand, he ran back to me and grabbed my hand before dragging me all over the museum. First he dragged me to the Dinosaurs on the fourth floor and then we slowly made our way down the building all the way to the Hall of Minerals tucked in the back corner of the first floor.
By the time we got back to the hotel in the afternoon, I was exhausted. I was so tired I fell asleep as soon as I my head touched my pillow. I woke up around 10pm and decided to go down to the gardens.
"I didn't think you'd show up tonight" Hoya greeted me.
"And miss out nightly rendezvous?" I joked back.
He sat on the bench we always sat at and asked "How was your day?"
"Not bad. Got to see all of the Natural History Museum" I smiled. "Guess I can cross that off of my list of things to do in New York City."
Hoya chuckled a little. "Sungjong wouldn't stop talking about all the things at the museum. I figured you'd be wiped out."
"Honestly, I was" I admitted embarrassingly.
"If you were so tired, then why did you come down to the gardens?" he seemed concerned.
"Actually, I fell asleep as soon as we got back to the hotel, so I'm not tired anymore" I blushed.
"I see" he looked relieved.
"What did you do today?" I asked, hoping to change the topic.
"Just hung out with the guys" he replied nonchalantly. "We don't really do much. Sometimes we go shopping, other times we just look for something good to eat." He shrugged his shoulders "Nothing really exciting."
We had been talking for a while when a security officer came out and said "It's pretty late."
We both blushed a little as we quickly stood up and made our way back to our rooms. As always, Hoya escorted me to mine before going to his own. As we were making our way down the hall, Hoya said "You know, I really like our 'little rendezvous' in the gardens" as he casually took hold of my swinging hand.
"I do too" I blushed in reply.
When we got to my room, he nervously let go of my hand and said "Good night!"
"Good night" I blushed more as I disappeared into my room.
Needless to say, I didn't sleep too well that night.
Hoya POV
Sungjong was so excited that he got to spend the day with her that I felt a bit guilty for spilling the beans to her last night. I just hope both of them have a good time. He ran out of the door and I just collapsed on my bed. All of the other guys had already figured out what they were going to do with HwaYi, but I was still undecided. I mean, I really wasn't into this whole thing from the start, but now I really want her to have the best day ever with me.
Sungjong returned to the hotel late in the afternoon. He was so excited about everything.
"The Dinosaurs were really cool!" he beamed.
"Sounds like you saw everything at the museum" Sungyeol chuckled.
"Almost" he replied.
"What do you mean? What did you miss?" Sunggyu asked.
"We saw all of the Natural History Museum, but I skipped the planetarium."
"Why?" I asked.
"I wasn't really interested in it and I wasn't sure she would be interested in it either. Plus I was getting a bit tired and I didn't want to drag her around all day."
Later that evening, after everyone went to bed, I snuck out to the gardens. After everything Sungjong said, I really didn't think I'd see her, but she showed up a little after I did.
We talked about her day and she asked about mine. We joked a bit and talked more about the stars. I was surprised that she really loved the stars. She even knew most of the constellations that we could see.
I'm kind of glad that Sungjong skipped the planetarium. Now I have a bit of an idea for my day with her.
A security guard came around and said it was a bit late, so we decided to go back to our rooms. As we were walking, I decided to take a leap of faith and held her hand. My heart was racing so fast that I thought that it would run away on me.
That night as I lay in bed, I couldn't believe I had actually took the initiative and grabbed her hand. What was I thinking? Why do I like spending time with her? I can't say that she is the most beautiful woman I've ever met, but she is definitely gorgeous.......at least she is to me.
