Korean Ground Beef
1 pound ground beef
3 garlic cloves
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
⅛ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon pepper
2 cups cooked white rice
Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Brown meat in pan with garlic. Drain grease.
In separate bowl combine sugar, oil, soy sauce ginger chili powder and pepper. Pour over browned beef and let simmer 2-5 minutes to thicken sauce.
Serve beef over rice and add sesame seeds on top.
