Chapter 2 The Dogs

It was the next day I was sitting in a tree hidden as I watched below me. I looked around me, busy townsfolk trying to get ready in case of an attack.

I paid more attention as I saw someone walking with a tub full of meat in his hands, my mouth watered as I saw all the raw meat.

I looked around me as I went farther into the tree then I climbed higher and higher. As I poked my head out I saw the guy again, he was whistling as he walked down the street unaware of a wolf such as me stalking his tub of meat.

He had a dark brown buzz cut that lead into an orange beard his eyes were dark brown, and he looked in his late 30s, wrinkly skin clinging to his face. He was wearing a navy blue t-shirt with holes in it, and black baggy jeans.

He looked around feeling watched as he didn't see anyone he shrugged, and continued his walking. When he went out of sight I climbed down the tree making sure no one noticed me I went out of view of everyone. Behind a tree a striped off my cloths & tied them to myself & turned to my wolf form. I smelled the air still smelling the meat I ran towards its direction, as I saw the town again I looked around, not seeing another way I sighed.

Running through the town I heard gasps & people yelling," Look at that dog!" Or," Is that a wolf?" I simply did my best to ignore them as I followed the elegant scent.

Seeing the person once again I took to a stop. Looking around myself I saw a barrel, we were in an ally. I hid behind it as I watched him carefully. The smell overwhelmed my nose as I let out a low snarl I was quite so he didn't hear me.

My hairs stood on end as I heard growls, barks, & whimpers there in kennels stood 11 war dogs they looked at me & started to growl & snarl as I backed up I snarled as I heard half of them whimper in retreat I raised my tail as I walked forward my eyes on the meat. The human looked at me surprised that a wolf was in front of him. He stepped back as he dropped the meat.

I smiled inwardly as I went farther I started to eat the meat as I looked in alarm, the human was releasing the dogs. I huffed as I bared my teeth, one dog lunged forward as it bit my leg I snarled biting its neck I felt its blood flow into my mouth. It whined as I felt its life drain under my grip, spitting it out across the ground I turned back to the meat eating I wagged my tail as the juicy meat tasted great compared to the sickening squirrels in the forest a bore was even a rare find.

I looked up feeling a tug at my neck the human was holding a rope as he threw it around my neck I snarled as I charged. A dog bit my tail as if mocking me it backed up barking it bared its teeth. I bared mine as my sharp canines glistened in the light I ran at the dog. Feeling a tug I ignored it as I heard the human yelp I turned noticing I was dragging him he looked around nervously.

I snarled as his eyes widened in alarm. He shivered, seeing a pole he lunged to it wrapping the rope around the pole he laughed. I turned as I ran at him the dog bit my leg this time, turning I growled my eyes full of anger now.

The dog yipped in surprise, looking at him snarling I bared my teeth I jumped at him. I felt blood flow through my mouth it was warm, thick, and the smell raked my nose I held back a gag as I spat out the dog. Seeing the human again, I snarled my teeth bared he held another rope.

He threw it at me, dodging it professionally my hackles held, rage was pouring through my veins as I looked at the dog it was laughing, but that fact wasn't what bothered me he was taunting me as I turned back to the human he tied the rope to a different pole holding me in my place. He held a gun smelling the air he was distracting me it was empty. Knowing one bullet wouldn't even harm me I acted to take the bait I smirked as I let out a fake whine the human smiled as if he won.

'Idiot' I thought as I heard a gun go off my smile grew I dogged as I ran forward, not biting or even snarling at the human I jumped off him, I felt the tug of the ropes as they shredded I turned around midair as I started to run as my feet hit the ground. Seeing the wall I jumped leaping on top of the roof I snarled staring at a new human.

He looked exactly like the other one twins maybe? But this one looked younger his smell was of blood I snarled knowing what he was, death filled the air as I stared at the vampire. He smelled the air as he smirked He couldn't scent me, my scent was only registered to other moon wolves. Otherwise I smell like fresh pine and cinnamon.

"Come here little wolfy I'll just kill you like your cousin human mixed race werewolves that are gone." The vampires voice was musky his breath smelt like acid, I snarled as he spoke, it was true that the wolves were related to the werewolves, to him I smelled, looked, acted, & breathed like a wolf.

"Sure you are right after you die in the grip of my teeth, vampire," I spoke after making sure no one was looking on the roof top, it was foggy either way it would be hard to see. He wouldn't understand me in my wolf form so I spoke after I shifted back to my human form staring at him as his eyes were turning red his teeth extended.

He hissed as he looked at me, "Aww so there is one of you left, well in a minute there will be none." His shoulders popped as he rolled them back & popped his neck, he dropped the gun.

I smiled and spoke roughly, "You underestimate me vampy, for I am one of the last five werewolves, & the last moon wolf. Tch Tch Tch are you ready to die blood sucker?"

His eyes widened in shock as he gulped I simply smiled I noticed the fog was starting to clear, I shifted as I raised my tail the fog was gone I heard gasps as people looked up did they hear the conversation? My thought was confirmed as I heard someone whisper, "Did you hear that? Bill's a vampire & that wolf is a werewolf!" fear was laced in the women's soft voice.

"Not just any werewolf the last moon wolf! But she also said there were four other werewolves!" A man said as he squirmed in fright.

I looked around me as another vampire appeared must be Bill was it? Must be his friend, this one was still male but blond hair was on his face.

"All the werewolves were killed in fear of over powering the king weren't they?" The women spoke again to her husband the rest of the crowed was still gasping in shock.

"I thought so, Rodger, son go get the king tell him the moon wolf lives there's hope she'll help us if we get rid of these vampires for her!" The man spoke to his son and wife, the son ran off to the castle I snarled at the vampires.

They think we'll help why should we act in this war it's between the humans! Secret was yelling in my head as I shook it.

We will be called upon sooner or later and we have to keep the other wolves safe. I spoke back as she huffed knowing that.

I turned my attention to the vampires again. Bill ran at me its hands at its side as it used its speed hissing at me. I smiled inwardly as I sat down & started licking my paw as if oblivious to it. It tried to claw me as I dodged still sitting there, the dogs were still barking. I snarled as it lunged at me again the blond one standing back still watching, looking for a weakness. I smirked once again as Bill ran at me hissing I jumped at meeting in the middle I bit his neck as he whined in pain.

The blond one looked alarmed as he yelled, "Bill that bite will kill you a moon wolves bite is fatal!"

I smiled it was true Bill didn't believe him through," Kyle I'm fine it's just a legend" He rubbed my bite as I sat back down watching as his face turn pale, the stronger the moon wolf the faster it will kill the vampire.

The average moon wolf when biting a vampire it takes about a day to kill a vampire, the strongest one ever took about twelve hours. But then yet again I am the strongest ha.

I watched as he screamed in pain, which was only the second phase there was five. He screamed as he coughed blood screaming as all the marks he's ever gotten un healed that was the third, he hit the fourth screaming as he gasped for air he was suffocating. He hit the longest one the fifth usually took hours to complete, his insides starting turning inside out his eyes pulling through his head he screamed in pain. I tried not to gag at the sight.

Five seconds later he died falling to the ground, it took not even 2 minutes for him to die. The blond Kyle looked at me in fear as he gulped and trembled as he spoke, "H-h-how strong are you?"

I smiled as I put my paw down as I stopped licking it, I walked toward him he took a step back trembling in fear still.

I was standing right before him I felt the man's son back as I smelled the king was there to. I shifted my long hair covering my butt and other privates my voice was soft, but threatening, "Let's see I just killed your friend by just nipping him and not even two minutes past now he's dead, hmm let me think... I'm the strongest and last moon wolf so listen hissy you should of stood out of my way!" My voice was thick with rage and not the slightest hesitant.

My left arm stood in front of me as it strangled him he gasped for air I spoke my soft voice again, "Sense I'm nice I'll end your life quickly for you."

My left hand moved up as I smiled I put it on his chest right on his heart, he screamed in pain as I my hand went into his chest I ripped out his heart as I turned around. I looked back down the alley I scoffed as the dogs ate all the meat already I snarled, "Dogs."

I turned around as I saw the humans wide eyed still staring at me, I looked toward the forest as I walked to the edge of the roof.

"Great Moon Wolf, can you help us in this war?" I snapped my head as I looked to the voice the king looked at me with pleading eyes I gulped.

I spoke in my normal sweet kind voice, "I cannot answer that, for I am sorry you would have to formally ask that of me before I could answer. You would have to summon me, there is a werewolf in your pack he should know how if you don't, but you would have to find him"

I smiled and turned back around as I jumped off the roof as the air blew in my face I landed & looked up in front of me, my brother stood at the edge of the forest waiting for me he must of sensed me in a fight. He was in his wolf form his fur was that of a typical grey wolf.

I turned to my wolf form as I walked forward when I got to the forest I let out a strong howl for the wolves within to kill any vampire that enters.

I ran along the forest floor as the wind blew my fur.

I hope you like it please go a head & give me (friendly) corrections for any mistakes like spelling or grammer. Oh ya last chapter it says Tenna hair stops at her waist but it really stops just below her knees.
