This chapter is dedicated to all the readers who miss their friends, I didn't know I am unreasonably tensed these days and it's reflecting in my behavior. I am missing my friends!

Chapter 17

Siya's pov :

            I feel safe, warm and all wanted in the arms of my Arjun. I was currently resting my head on his shoulder and we were sitting outside the ICU. I feel really bad to bother Arjun but I don't have any other go.

                   We sat there for the whole night and now he is sleeping leaning his head on mine. Both my hands were around his arm. I didn't sleep even a second all night thinking about my dad. My eyes were burning and I feel uneasy with my growling stomach.

       Please open your eyes daddy!  That's my only prayer for hours. When the nurse came out I made Arjun head lean on the wall and ran to her.

         "Is everything alright sister?  Is my dad fine? " I wanted to know I am in the verge of losing my patience.

          "Yes ma'am he is awake and he is asking for Siya, I guess it's you. " told her.

         "Yeah... It's me. Thank you! " I tried to get in the ICU but stopped by the security. He told me to wear the mask and the slippers they provided which I did and went inside finally.

          My dad was a mess, it's been a long time since I have seen him like this. I can't take it. My tears started to overflow and finally my dad saw me. He raised his hand which was connected to the IV and I immediately held his hand.

        "Appa.. Appa are you OK? " I asked him crying.

         "I am OK chittu! " his voice was unusually slow and low, I could feel my dad's pain but he is an expert in hiding it to me.

          "Stop crying Siya! You know I can't...see you... like this. " I wiped my tears and gave him my smile.

           "What happened exactly? " I asked him frightened.

           "That I will tell you later! Who was that man? " asked my dad.

         " who appa? You...mean..you mean Arjun! " I asked him.

         "Maybe chittu! He was the last man I saw approaching me before blacking out. Is he mad to jump into fire? " he asked me.

Yes, he is mad about me and I feel I am the luckiest girl in the world.

           "He isn't mad appa... He is a very good.....huh....friend of mine, a very good human being who was selfless enough to jump into fire just for me... He is a man enough to save a soul daddy. I was shaking and crying terribly I even snapped at him with hurtful words but he...he just. He is the best appa, He is the purest form of every good thing in this world. " by the time I finished my talk on Arjun my mask was below my chin and my lips twitched in a beautiful smile.

  I love him....

       But it's not the time to tell my dad he should recover. I found my dad eying me differently may be I could say suspiciously, did I messed up. He looked passed me and I turned to look at Arjun standing near the door way.

        My dad called him and told " Take off that mask young man, let me see the face of my saviour. " smiling looking at him.

         "Thank you! Arjun." He thanked him.
  
             "Your welcome Sir! " told Arjun... He could have used uncle, at times my man is a dumbo.

       "We need to talk, before that do me a favor Arjun. " asked my dad.

         "Yes Sir! " told him.... God he should join police force.

              "Take my daughter and get her something to eat, I know she must be starving. " told my dad completely worried for me. I refused but my dad was keen enough to insist.

           Arjun took my hand and started to walk towards cafeteria  but I dragged him to the other end. We entered the doctor's room who's handling my dad. He stood up abruptly and wished Arjun only then I came to know that he is one who owns this Hospital.

That's why we were getting special attention, how will I thank this man? Doctor told me that he checked my dad and he was out of danger also he will be shifted to the general Ward in a while.

I feel relieved... Thank God.

            Once we came out Arjun dragged me to a room and both of us freshed ourselves.

            We went to the cafeteria and again we got full attention. All his staffs came to our table and I was really uncomfortable, I am not an attention person. Sensing it, he whispered something to one of his staff and everyone cleared the place except a waiter.

   "What do you life to have Siya?" Asked him.

      "Coffee! I don't feel like eating Arjun! " I told him earning a glare from him.

          "Get me a plate of idly and Ghee roasted doosa make sure they are hot. " the waiter left.

           "I don't feel like having food! " I told him.

          "Shut up! " told him. How rude?

                Soon our food came and I stared digging my idly, I was busy eating and he was busy staring at me.

       "Hello Mister have your food!" I told him " That's for you Siya, I don't have breakfast. " Arjun told placing his hands on the table.

      "What do you mean? " asked Arjun.

       "I mean having breakfast isn't my habit! " he told shurging his shoulders. I sighed and pushed a piece of idly into his mouth he raised his eyebrow questioning me but I didn't care. I kept on eating and feeding him as well, soon we finished our food.

         Skipping breakfast isn't good for health one or two days is fine but a habit of skipping breakfast is ridiculous. He have to change a lot for his own good.

        While back the way to my father I found him holding me tight by my waist and glared at the man who was giving me some dirty looks.

              I suppressed my laugh but didn't mind him holding me this way, I don't find anything wrong in this instead I felt it right. He have every right on me the way I have on him. I didn't know why suddenly I started blushing when the moment he confessed his love crossed my mind.

    He told me I love you, but how I am gonna tell him back. I should plan something but only after my dad recovers. Surprisingly he didn't asked me anything about my answer.

         "You look so cute when you blush! " told him, God he was noticing me all the while...now my face resembled a tomato.
   
          Later my dad was shifted to the general ward, Arjun was with me all the time. Deepa aunty visited us and scolded me for not informing her. She told me that she'll stay back in the hospital and asked me to go home and freshen up.

                 I tried to convince her but my dad was successful enough to send me home. Arjun offered me a drive I tried to deny but his one glare was enough to shut me.

        During the drive I felt my eyes heavy and I leaned onto his shoulder and took a nap, he is very comfortable for me to sleep on and aunty was right I am really tired.

            I woke up being wrapped in a protective hands, it was Arjun's we are currently in my living room, lying on my couch, but basically I was lying on him.

       I know I am a little heavy but this man sleeps as if I am a blanket on him. This is the first time I am this close to him and a sudden wave of shiver spread throughout my body.

                 He is the first man in my life I am getting close and from yesterday I wanted to be around him, in his arms, so badly. Right now I don't want anything in this world. I can live my life like this.

    
                      I raised my head and looked at his face, he looked so innocent and tired, his forehead has got some lines of irritation. I used my fingers to massage his head soon the lines vanished and his grip on my waist tightened but it's not painful.

       My fingers trailed down his nose, finger and his lips, I couldn't resist the urge to kiss him so I gave a small peck on his cheek.

     " No Siya! This isn't right, you not are not married to him yet." Scolded my brain and it has got a point. Suddenly his eyelids started to move. I closed my eyes and kept my head on his chest pretending  asleep.

        I was the one postponing my marriage whenever my dad took the topic but after my Arjun's confession I wanna marry this man. Marry him now! 

                 He sighed and his hands went to my hair, the way his fingers were working on my scalp made my eyes grew heavy and I snuggled close to him. My dad used to do this whenever I was ill to make me feel better.

     
   Wait DAD.... God what's the time now?  I have to get back to hospital, I tried to get up but failed due to his grip on my waist, I glared at him angrily,  "Are you awake all the while Siya!  " he sounded surprised holding an amused look but I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me.

Hell embarrassing!

Sanjana's pov :

                   Deepa aunty called me and requested me to prepare lunch for uncle, I felt really bad for him. I took a day off today and prepared lunch. Siya must be resting, I didn't wanna disturb her. She is doing so much for me and my Kavya comparing that this lunch isn't a big deal.

              After preparing food I gave Kavya her bath, dressed her and we both left to the hospital. I went in his room after checking with the reception and gave him food.

            Krishna Uncle's eyes lit up seeing Kavya and I handed them the lunch. I was busy talking with them and turned to find Kavya missing.

          My heart stopped for a second, I ran out to find my daughter but I can't find her. I started crying and informed the reception to get some help.

         I was searching the whole hospital running like a lunatic. I heard my daughter giggling and her loud laughter resonated the walls of the room behind me. I cracked open the door and my heart skipped a beat.

   Surya!

           My eyes pooled, heartbeat increased and I started to sweat terribly. The sight in front of me melted my heart. My husband is playing with my daughter, throwing her in the air and catching her.

              I badly wanted to run and hug my Surya, kiss him to death and die in his arms but the trust I had on him was so much compared to my love but he broke it.

             He's a cheater. Did he aware of the fact that the kid he's holding is Kavya? God! Before I could think furthermore Kavya called me " Momma! " Surya turned to me stopping the earth when our eyes met " Sa.. Sanjana! "
