Chapter 1
(Remember this story is nothing but Matrix's P.O.V.)
My story begins with a small ride into the Enchanted forest. Away from the guards.
My horse Bramble rode through the forest. "Come on Bramble we gotta lose them," I told Bramble as we rode. The guards were gaining on me with their black armor clanking and clinking. "These bitches are persistent," I said to Bramble. "I have an idea. We'll lead them straight into a Land Trap. Then they'll be sent back to the Badlands," I whispered to Bramble. I cast a spell on Bramble's hooves to let him run over Land Traps.
For a bit of context. When the 2 Social Groups were set in place by Sleeping Beauty the Good Fairies cast a spell to grow and Enchanted Forest blocking the Villains and Heroes homes. The Villains live in the Badlands while the Heroes live in the Goodlands. The Enchanted Forest can't be navigated and has these magical Land Traps that will send anyone in the Enchanted Forest back to whence they came so if from the Goodlands they get sent back there and if from the Badlands...Well you get it. Back to the story.
Bramble ran over a Land Trap and a guard was sent right through it back to the Badlands. "Take that," I said. I reapplied my spell and Bramble ran over another Land Pit. 2 guards fell into the Land Trap and I thought I lost them all. "Wait weren't there 4 of them?" I asked. The final guard jumped in front of me and Bramble and I fell to the ground. "Goddammit," I said. "Matrix," A familiar voice said. The guard took off his helmet revealing the very man who always caught me when I did this. "Hey dad," I said awkwardly. "Hello son," Dad said.
Time Skip
Me and my father slowly rode back to the Badlands through a Land Trap. "How many times has it been this week?" Dad asked. "5," I said. "Yes. Right," Dad said. "Yeah and this is the fastest you've caught me," I said. "Yes it is," Dad said proudly. "Did you see how I used the Land Traps to my advantage?" I asked. "Yes. Very clever," Dad said. "Thank you I do my worst," I said. "You're just like your mother when she was young," Dad said. "I'm glad," I said. We got back to the castle and I told Bramble to head back to the stables. "Don't let him cause trouble," Dad said to his horse Blitz. I sighed. "I may be irresponsible but Bramble's okay," I said. "I'm not taking any chances," Dad said. I groaned dramatically. "Wow," Dad said. I grinned smugly. Dad rolled his eyes.
