As expected, rumours of Hermione's pregnancy spread fast. By the time Hermione and Draco were at the doors of the Great Hall, they assumed that most of the school knew about them and Blaise and Ginny. Some people had been daring enough to confront them.
"HERMIONE HERMIONE! IS IT TRUE YOU ARE PREGNANT AND DRACO IS THE FATHER." Dennis Creevy came running up behind them flashing his camera. After his older brothers death, he decided to take on his job as school reporter.
The couple addressed the rumors and confirmed them. Other students were not so bold, gossiping about the Veela and his mate behind their backs. Murmurs of:
Is she really pregnant?
I think that they are just rumors.
But look at her! She is clearly pregnant.
She is so lucky, Draco is so hot.

Hermione couldn't hear these whispers but Draco's Veela senses heard every word clearly. Making him chuckle at the Student's antics. Hermione was just surprised that more of a scene hadn't been cause, after all. It's not every day that a Hogwarts student gets pregnant. But all of her wondering stopped short once they walked through the doors of the Great Hall. Almost all chatter stopped and every student looked at Hermione, or more like at Hermione's stomach. Slowly, the chatter recommenced except for some Gryffindors and Slytherins who knew the couple and obviously had questions. Hermione and Draco shared a look and understanding passed between them. Draco kissed Hermione's cheek and left to his table to be immediately swarmed by his mates and the same for Hermione. All of Hermione's friends were absolutly delighted after she confirmed that the rumours were true. She got congratulations and hugs. Luna and Cho came from Ravenclaw to hug her. But. Some people were not so happy. People who didn't like Hermione or Draco, those who had crushes on them like Pansy had on Draco. Dean Thomas looked especially peeved (A/N Pardon the Poltergeist pun), it was no secret that Pansy broke up with him and he wanted Hermione back... badly.
He would do whatever it took.
