Naruto's POV

It was now midnight. I was still able to take a last tour around the village in case I won't make it back. I don't think I will be able to make it back so I decided to take a peek each of my friends.

I saw Ino sleeping and muttering Sasuke-kun.
Next, I proceeded with Shikamaru, as usual, he still snores because of his hobby of sleeping.
Next, to Chouji, he's sleeping but he was hugging Hus potato chips.
Next, to Hinata, she was cute while she sleeps but she was good friend of mine.
Next, to Kiba, he sleeps without his shirt but he hugs Akamaru like he's his blanket.
Next, to Shino, he wasn't asleep but was busy of something.
Lastly, to Sakura, as I peek out of the window, I saw Sakura with Sasuke plus they hug each other and I smiled then I started walking away but the window creaked so I hurriedly ran away from them.

Sakura's POV

I heard a creak but luckily I woke up fast but I didn't get up and from what I saw, I saw a blonde guy.

Wait a minute... Only Naruto is the blonde guy around here in the village!
Where is he going? And what is he doing around here at midnight?

So I decided to go follow him. I silently got up.from my bed. Luckily, his arms wasn't around me so I got up fast.

As I follow him, I began to tear up. I saw him go the village gate. I forgot that he was assigned to a mission alone. I wanted to follow him. I wanted hug him before its too late. I wish I never broke up with him.most part of me still loves him but I can't confess it until he turned back and saw me...

3rd Person's POV

Naruto turned back but he saw Sakura secretly following him.

"Sakura? What are you doing here?" Naruto asked Sakura

"Oh, nothing in was just walking around." Sakura replied but lied

"That's not the reason. Tell me. Sakura-chan." Naruto said then Sakura walks up to Naruto then she leans on Naruto's chest then he softly strokes on Sakura's hair

"I actually wanted to tell you that..." Then Sakura cries

"Sshh... Sakura-chan its okay..." Naruto comforted

"Naruto..." Sakura cried

"Its okay..." Naruto said

"Can I give you something?" Sakura asked

"Okay." Naruto replied then Sakura gave him a first-aid kit, in case if he was injured

"Thanks Sakura. I'll be going now." Naruto starts to walk off but Sakura grabbed his hand and said

"Wait, that's not all I wanted to give you..."

"Well, what is the other one?" Naruto asked as he raised an eyebrow.

Then, Sakura gets closer to Naruto then she planted a soft goodbye kiss on his lips which made him shocked and blush. Yes, he still has his feelings for Sakura but what he doesn't get was that why did Sakura kissed him.

And then, Naruto parted away from Sakura's kiss which made her confused. She knew that Naruto wasn't still over her but why did broke free from the kiss.

"W-why Naruto? Didn't you liked it?" Sakura asked while she was stuttering

"I liked it but, you broke up with me for Sasuke yet you still kissed me. Why is that?" Naruto asked

"It's just a goodbye kiss..." Sakura answered then Naruto turned into a sad face while he was holding back his tears and which was Sakura's answers made his heart really was torn into thousand pieces

"Oh... Alright then. I guess I'll be going off first." Naruto said with a depression in his voice

"Okay." Sakura said then she turned around and starts to walk away

Also, Naruto starts walking away with a blank face and Sakura walking away with a saddened tears crawling on her face
