Groaning I rolled over into my ratty pillow, sighing as I hear Tamara's murmuring. "Tamara, go back to sleep..." I mumbled, turning to her but instead of crystal blue eyes I met with dark brown orbs. Blinking a couple of seconds before screaming, I launch myself out of my bed. Wait... This isn't my bed! Where am I?

"Kaia, my Kitten?" I face the lady... no vampire... my face paled. Oh my gosh, did she suck my blood? I don't remember being eaten. All I remember was heading off to work... Gulping audibly, I take serval steps back.

"S-Stay away! Y-You monster!" The vampire lady flinched for a second before sitting on the bed. THE KING SIZE bed. Looking around I noticed that I was dressing in a white night dress, with fluffy pink socks.

"Kaia, Kitten... it's okay. I won't hurt you," The vampire lady stepped forward, biting her lip. "You don't remember me but I'm Braelynn, Queen of Vampires."

I swallowed. "Why am I here? If... If your not here to hurt me..." my Heart was beating wildly in my chest, my hands gripping the wall. Braelynn stepped forward, her body heat almost a meter away.

"Well your here because your very special," my brows furrowed in confusion. Suddenly her cold hand rested softly against my cheek. In fear I curled into myself, hoping I could just disappear. Maybe this is all a dream and I'm snuggled in bed with Tamara... TAMARA!! "Kitten? What's the matter?"

"M-My family... what did you do to them?" The Queen frowned before her eyes lit up in understanding.

"Do you want to see them?" My eyes widened a fraction.

"They're here?" I utter. She nodded, a soft smile playing on her kissable lips. Wait kissable?! No no no no, bad Kaia. Bad! Shaking my head rapidly, I wipe my eyes.

"I want to see them,"

"Of course. Come, they are in the kitchen with my sister." The queen walked out the door and I follow behind, my nerves Skitting against my skin. Braelynn noticing my discomfort, takes my hand in hers. "No one will hurt you here, Kaia. Your safe." I nodded unsurly and walked into a large kitchen. Tamara and my father were happily sitting there, chatting with a vampire girl.

"Sissy!!!" Tamara squeals, running in my arms. Tears burst as I hug my little sister. "You okay sissy?" I nod slowly and bury my face in her hair. God. It feels like forever since I've seen my family.

"Kaia," I look up at my father and frown. Where's his limp? "The vampire queen had her doctor fix me up. And gave me a job. Tamara also goes to school now," what? I look towards the queen. She was smiling at me, drinking tea.

"Why? Why do this for us?" This is insane.

"Like I said, Kitten. You are very special to me and anyone related to you is also special,"

"What does this special mean?? I'm a human! Food to your kind!" Braelynn smiled sadly at me and put her cup down.

She brought me into her arms, hugging me. "Because your my mate. My beloved. And soon to be Queen."

I do apologise for being fast paced! But I really do love how it's turning out!
Kaia has lost all her memories, is now a vampire. And will be Queen of Vampires very soon!!! Wow!
