Max sat when Mel was away, the dog stared at the shiny screen before a bee buzzed, as the black and yellow insect flew inside the window.

Max barked at the bee and chased after it, the bee landed on the edge of the glass of water before the pug pounced on the counter, spilling the bottle of water on the laptop.

The screen blinked and turned off just seconds before Mel returned.

"Max!" Mel shouted before the pug whined and pouted with his big eyes.

"How can I stay mad at you when you give me those puppy eyes, huh?" Mel walked up to the pooch. Max barked. "You're still grounded though." Mel pouted at him. "I'll have to get a new one. If I don't send the link of the worksheet to Joe. I'll get fired. If that happens, I won't be able to buy your favorite snack for my next paycheck."

Max whined, he liked his MaxSnacks.
