Chapter 21
HEY!!!
How is life treating you?
Mine is okay, could be worse.
Anyway, straight to the story?
Okay.

Walking into my office knowing that the deputy has something about Charlie that even Alice doesn't know was terrifying to say the least. The deputy was sitting in one of the chairs, facing the window, holding a large yellow envelope. Remember those ones that were so hard to get into once you seal them, the package envelopes? This was one of them.
I went around him, my dead-ish heart beating just a little faster than it normally does, which would still consider me dead. Hold on, did I ever tell you that my heart started beating a little? If I didn't, sorry, but it did. Around the time I started sleeping again, just FYI. Anyway, I placed my folder on my desk and sat in my chair, waiting.
He sighed.
"Brace yourself," he said, leaning over to give me the envelope.
I took it, staring at him. Opening it, I saw photos, seven disposable camera photos, which is around 100 photos I am guessing. I took a handful out and started looking at them. My heart skipped a beat. It was my house. The woods behind my house where we hunted and were able to be ourselves.
Jasper and Alice were in the next one, I could only tell it was them because they were the only ones there that had the sort of speed that could make their photos blurry on screen, which they were. Their faces were barely recognizable. Charlie was in the next one, red eyed, staring at the camera. However, Jasper had come out, and he fell to the ground in the following shot. Alice picked him up in the next, carrying him to the house again.
I had to stop looking at them. He was finding out about us. Something had to be done. I took a deep breath.
"There are some worse ones than that. About halfway through the pile," He said nodding for me to keep going.
I had no choice but to keep going.
The next few photos were of Charlie trying to break out of the house, staring into the camera with hungry eyes. He was turning the bad way. Then, Jasper was carrying a deer back to the house. Charlie ran out to greet him in a blur, literally. Alice and Charlie crouched down to feed while Jasper kept Charlie in control. Charlie's eyes kept darting back to the camera.
I threw them on the desk, not able to look at the any more. I was most defiantly having a panic attack. We would have to move or kill him if he really found out the truth.
"There are more, but I have to get going. I will leave them with you and be in touch with you soon." He gave me a long look then walked out my door.
Tossing the photos back into the envelope, I stuffed it into my bag, grabbed the folder from my desk and my keys. "Jackie, I don't feel so good. I'm going to go home, okay?" I told the nurse.
She looked at me, nodding. Trying to act sick, I walked out the door. Then, when I was where no one would see me, I ran to my car. I rushed back to Bella to tell her, not knowing how anyone would take it.
