Before we even busted into the World Wide Geno Project, we sent April to the lair and Donnie still didn’t get his hug, even though he knew he‘d probably see her again. Sophie scoffed and we headed out again. Again, we went off in our own little pairs. Poor Donnie had to suffer alone…

But he got his break when we landed on the roof. The door that led down was locked, so everyone backed up. He stepped up and said, “I have an app for that.”

Everyone groaned again and then his moment was soon gone because Raph came up and said, “I have an app for that too.” and kicked the door down. We all walked in and Mikey passed him with a funny expression.

Naomi, being nice for once, helped Donnie up. Raph saw and came over to Naomi who looked at him with a smile. We walked not even a few feet in the building and a large dome-like room emerged.

Some Kraang scouts were standing watch with their guns. Mikey thought to have some fun with it and jumped down behind a pair of them and whispered, “Booyakasha.”

They turned around and I gulped before jumping down and slashing the two down to size. The others joined in quickly and Mikey gave me a high three. I breathed out and said, “Don’t scare me like that again.”

“Why?” he asked.

“Remember what happened to Naomi?”

“Depends.” he smiled, walking to the group again. I shook my head and followed him. “Now what?”

Leo looked around, “Where’s Naomi and Raph?”

“Gyah!” I heard a familiar voice above us. Naomi fell down in front of us, landing on her back shell thankfully. Her new metal staff followed her. We all looked up and saw Raph holding onto a FootClan soldier and Reiley behind him, sneaking up behind him.

“Karai!” Leo called out.

“Ka-who?” Sophie and Donnie said simultaneously. Sophie pushed past everyone to get to Leo, “Who is she?”

Karai and Raph fell down to our level and then started attacking each other before Leo jumped in to stop both of them. Reiley jumped down and landed on Leo’s shoulders before jumping away and started attacking Naomi.

While the others were having their issues, I put together this: Leo knows Karai, Raph knows Karai, Raph has an issue with Karai, Leo wants to protect Karai. Reiley knows Naomi, Sophie knows Reiley, Reiley has an issue with Naomi, and Sophie… I don’t know…

Suddenly, an alarm went off. Mikey looked at me and I threw my arms in the air and exclaimed, “It’s not us for once!” Mikey smiled and we hugged, Mikey picking me up off the ground and made me laugh.

From under Reiley, Naomi grunted, “Not the best time to celebrate you two!” she used her foot to kick Reiley off. Sophie came up and held the Turtle down. “Kraang.”

Mikey put me down and we looked around. Kraang were coming in from doors all around with guns. Everyone forgot about our enemies and looked around at the robots. Naomi came up to Raph and grabbed his hand.

I got out my swords and then one Kraang spoke, “You do not have permission to be in this place that Kraang did not let you be in this place, so you do not have permission to be here.”

Naomi groaned and got out a ninja star. She looked at it before twirled it on her hand before throwing it at the first Kraang. It fell quickly and the other Kraang came in with a cannon.

“Great…” my creepy partner muttered. “Not only was the single bullet enough for you guys…”

“Well this seems unfair.” someone said. I turned around and Karai had a finger threatening to press a random button.

Another Kraang stepped up and said in its robotic voice, “That action is very unwanted by Kraang, so you should not do that or something bad will happen if you do that action.”

“Well now I gotta,” Karai smiled, pressing the button.

In a reaction, I looked around to see what was going to happen. The DNA that was surrounding the room with different animals began to drain out and go to the Mutagen in the middle of the room.

Mikey grabbed my own hand and looked at all the DNA’s draining away. I pointed at the cat DNA and Mikey screamed like a girl. Keeping in a little laugh, Naomi and Sophie looked at me with a stupid expression.

Then the mutant that the DNA and Mutagen created came out of the large container. It was too hard to explain, but it had a slim body and two large eyes and the legs of an octopus. Then, it sorta meowed like a cat…

“Aw,” Mikey cooed. “It’s so cute!”

“You, Mikey, are just too crazy.” Sophie shook her head. “How do we fight it?”

“It may not be dangerous,” Leo said. But the mutant grew in size and roared out. “Never mind!”

“You don’t predict.” Naomi snapped. “I do.”

“Well sorry!” Leo glared at her, both attacking out at the mutant.

Karai grabbed a Kraang ‘bot with the help of Reiley and they started to head out. Sophie threw a ninja star at Reiley, but she parried it with one of her Sais.

Leo saw and looked up to them, “Where are you guys going?!”

“Leaving,” Reiley answered.

“But I trusted you!”

“I know!” Karai smirked. “It’s crazy right?”

Then they both jumped away with Leo yelling out, “Karai! Reiley!”

“So,” Raph said from beside us. “Anybody fans of Karai yet?”

“I may not know who she is, but I know that I hate her!” Donnie snapped, turning around from an attack from the mutant.

Kraang bullets came from behind me and I turned around and saw Raph say to Leo, “Look, Leo, the Kraang are on our side.”

“Oh, shut up…” Leo muttered.

I ran up to Naomi, who was fighting the mutant and not the Kraang, and tried to kick out at the mutant, but one of its tentacles slammed down on me, making me loose grip on my swords. The air left my lungs and then it threw me to the wall.

Naomi, in return, roared out and made the blade come out on her staff and started cutting some tentacles off. “Nobody hurts Mikito but me!” Then without Naomi knowing, the mutant’s eyes started glowing and it stared right at her. Lightning came out of its eyes and hit Naomi’s staff. “Gyyyyyaaaaahhh!!!!”

“Naomi!” I screamed, reaching a hand for her, even thought I was still on the ground. She fell to the ground in a limp heap and the mutant whacked her away. Naomi slid to a wall, where she didn’t get up.

Raph growled and kicked the mutant away from Naomi before it could do anything else, “Take that, Octo-Punk!”

“No, no!” Mikey said while helping me up. “Call him Octo-Eyeball-Jellybug!” The mutant screeched. “Nah, let’s just call him Justin…”

“Mikey, look out!” I called as another tentacle that Naomi didn’t cut off swung at us. I pushed him out of the way and we landed on the ground hard. I landed on top and Mikey on bottom. He smiled embarrassingly and I got up quickly, reaching for one of my nearby swords.

Donnie and Sophie flew above my head and landed on either side of Naomi. I grabbed my sword and stood up, but knocked away again as Justin grabbed Raph and tossed him against me.

“Gah… Raph, you’re heavy…” I breathed, trying to push him off.

“Pure muscle…” Raph groaned, rolling off me. He looked at Naomi and breathed out, “Naomi…” he scooted over to her.

Again, I was about to get up, but Mikey was thrown against me.

“Why not Leo next?!” I shouted at Justin. Mikey was a little unconscious because he was talking about pizza. “Mikey, get up…”

“Pizza…. Hee hee. The pizza game…” Mikey spoke while dreaming.

“You gotta be kidding me…” I muttered, then tried to push him off. Luckily, he was lighter than Raph, so it wasn’t that hard.

Suddenly, a bright light came from Justin and I saw Leo having one of his swords up. Justin had lightning coming out of his eyes and had it on Leo’s sword. How come Leo’s not getting electrocuted like Naomi did? I’ll ask Donnie later…

Leo combined the hilts of his swords like mine could do at times and the electricity went into both swords. Yelling out, Leo slammed his swords into a power box and made Justin explode.
