Nya's P.O.V.:

I was all alone. I couldn't fathom how fast it happened. My friends, my brother, my fiancé, they were all gone. How was I supposed to be like this on my own? What was I supposed to do? Wu and Misako were still on the search for Garmadon, so I had no idea where they were. And even if they were here, I didn't even know if they were alive. What was I supposed to do?

"Nya?" Someone shouted as she came up the long staircase. I'd know that voice anywhere.

I pulled myself together and opened the door, running into my mother's arms. She knew something was wrong.

"Whoa water lilly, take it easy." She cooed.

"Mom, I'm so happy you're here." I hugged her, but then I remembered that Nadakhan can shapeshift so I backed away just to be safe. "Wait, if you're my mom, tell me something only her and I would know."

"Your middle name is Gertrude." She winked.

"Oh Mom it really is you!" I hugged her again. I've never been so happy to have such an embarrassing middle name.

"I came by early to help you set up for your rehearsal dinner tonight. You're father had some last minute work to do in the shop." She said, then she noticed the look on my face. "Nya? Where's everyone else?"

"Oh mom, I woke up and no one was here. Jay, Kai, Lloyd, everyone was gone."

"Kai?" She frowned.

I looked up at her and sadly nodded. "I... I'm sorry."

"Oh baby girl, it's alright."

"No Mom it's not. I didn't tell anyone about him and now he killed all of them."

"We don't know that dear." Mom hugged me.

"Then where do you think they are?"

"I wish I knew honey, but if there's even a chance they're still alive, I know you'll do something about it."

"But I have no idea where anyone is. I don't have a clue. Usually when things like this happen the others know what to do but I can't do it on my own." I hugged her.

"Yes you can. You just need to apply yourself."

"But what if I fail? What if I can't find them?"

"All that matters is that you try your best, nothing else." She smiled.

"Y-yeah." I dried my tears. "Thanks Mom."

"Of course sweetie." She finished the hug and pulled away. "I know you can do this."

"I'm gonna search the monastery and get to the bottom of this."

"That's my girl." Mom smiled at me. "I'm going to search around the city and see if I can find them."

"Be careful Mom, the djinn is still out there." I warned.

"I can handle myself." She laughed. "Stay safe baby girl."

"I will Mom." I gave her one more hug. "I love you."

"I love you too." She hugged back.

She walked back down the stairs and I headed back inside to look for any kind of clue to where Nadakhan had taken them. First I went into Jay's bedroom because I figured Nadakhan would take it out on him the most. It was ransacked, whatever Nadakhan did to him couldn't have been good. There were slash marks all over the walls and his stuff was everywhere.

As I was looking around, I saw an envelope with my name on it on his nightstand. Written under my name was tomorrow's date, our wedding day. Then I realized that these were Jay's wedding vows he had written about me.

As much as I wanted to, I couldn't look at them, it wouldn't be right. Although I couldn't help but wonder what he wrote. He's always been the romantic type when it comes to things like that. But no Nya, you can't do this. You'll hear Jay read them to you at the wedding... if there even is a wedding... or a groom. Come on Nya, stay focused!

I couldn't help but put the letter in my pocket, just so I can give them back to Jay if... no, when I find him. Then I went into the other boys' rooms and they were pretty much in the same condition that Jay's was in, some messier than others.

Lloyd's however was untouched, I saw that his bed was unmade, but he never makes his bed so that was normal. But what was weird that I saw some slash marks in the hallway when I looked out there and a broken picture frame on the floor. And then I looked up at the ceiling and I remembered how Pixal installed security cameras in here! Why didn't I think of that before?

I ran to the underground bunker underneath the monastery and fired up the screen to see the security footage. I rewinded the tape until last night.

Nadakhan was in the middle of the hallway. First he snuck into Kai's room, then came out with a sack. Then he did the same with Jay, Cole, Zane, Pixal and Kira who was in the guest room that night. When Nadakhan went into Lloyd's room, Lloyd ran out into the hallway with his sword. He took a swing at Nadakhan but he pushed him into the wall where the picture frame fell and broke on his arm. He was in pain for a minute until Nadakhan knocked him out and put him the sack with the rest.

That was all I could handle watching at the moment. I only hoped Kira was somewhere with Lloyd so she could care for him. And that Jay wasn't anywhere near Nadakhan, even though I know that's a long shot.

I looked at the envelopes again, I missed Jay so much. I should never have taken him for granted like I did. I looked at my half of the beautiful yin/yang medallion and held it close to me.

"I hope you're ok Jay, and if you are, just hang in there. I'll be there soon, wherever there is."

Jay's P.O.V.:

Nadakhan had tied me up again after doing all his chores. My back was hurting so much it was hard for me to stand up. I know one thing, I wasn't going to risk making any kind of wish. I didn't know if he even still had the power to grant wishes anymore, but I wasn't taking any chances.

Nadakhan floated into the room and used his magic to show me a window.

"What's this for? Movie time?" I smirked.

"Tell me, what do you love about Nya?" Nadakhan said.

"Everything, obviously." I rolled my eyes.

"Well why does she love you?"

"W-What?"

"Watch and see Jay, she's never loved you."

The magic window showed Nya walking into a room on the train car. The only one in there was Cole reading a Starfarrer comic book.

"Hey Nya, how are our kids?" Cole asked.

"Our kids?" Nya seemed surprised by this. "Why would we have kids? We're not even married let alone..."

"I meant our students, weirdo." Cole said. "Ever since we left the school, I'm worried for them."

"Oh, Dareth's looking after them." She said coming closer to Cole. "You know Cole, you don't get the credit you deserve."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, you always put others ahead of yourself. I just want you to know that you're... a good guy." Nya reached out her hand.

Cole smiled and grabbed her hand. "Don't tell Jay."

A tear started to fall from my face. I remembered how hurt I was when I walked in on them holding hands. I was blaming Cole for coming on to Nya, but now I know the truth. Nya came on to him.

"It hurts doesn't it?" Nadakhan taunted. "She always hesitates to tell you how she feels, but to him she came right out and said it. Maybe it's easier because she actually loves him."

"You're wrong!" I yelled. "Nya is my Fiancé and she loves me!"

"Loves you, or just feels bad for you?"

"Ha?"

He put the magic window in front of me again. This time it was Nya and Cole talking again, but in Cole's bedroom.

"I don't get it Nya, we're so perfect together, why are you still with that loser?" Cole asked.

"Cole, you know I want to be with you, but Jay's a lot more pathetic than you. He may never find love again." Nya said.

"But I'm much better at everything than Jay."

"I know but I can't help but feel bad for him. That's the only reason I fell for him in the first place."

"But that love is fake, ours is real." Cole grabbed Nya's hand. "Why can't we be together?"

"Trust me, wait till after the wedding and then you'll get everything you want, just as long as Jay never finds out."

"Can't wait." Cole winked.

I was shocked. I couldn't believe it. Was all our love out of sympathy because I'm too pathetic? Was she really planning on cheating on me with Cole? I mean, I knew she had a crush on him before and she admitted to that, but I never questioned if the feelings were still there. Maybe I should have payed more attention. Was I not good enough for her?

"Ahh, I sense anger in you. Sadness? A little jealousy?"

"N-Nya would never do that." I said through my tears.

"There is a way you can put a stop to this."

"I don't care if it's true or not, I won't let you hurt Nya!" I screamed.

"I won't lay a finger on her, but you however..."

He inched closer and closer to me, his laugh getting more evil the closer he got. I felt him touch my back and screamed. Next thing I knew I blacked out...
