Nya's P.O.V.:

I was on my way to the city to face Jay. I was thinking about what I would say to him but what could I say? Nothing would help anyway.

I was under a spell from Nadakhan once and I honestly don't remember much, but I know that I wasn't in control of my actions. Nadakhan made me do anything he wanted, it was like he turned me into a completely different person.

The only way I came to my senses was when he was shot with the tiger widow venom, but there's no time to go to the island and get it, plus I can't risk hurting Jay. I'm just going to have to find another way to distract Nadakhan long enough for the spell to break, if that's even possible.

I went back to Jay's hideout and I looked around for any sign of Jay or Cole. He wasn't in the cage he usually was.

"Jay, I'm here." I yelled. There was no answer. "I came alone, just like you asked. Now let Cole go."

"I don't think we will, Delara." I heard a familiar voice say. And it definitely wasn't Jay.

I got into a fighting stance and got ready to face Nadakhan, but what I saw was so much worse.

"Nya!"

I looked at the cage hanging above a huge tank of water. Cole was inside it and he seemed very stressed. He looked worse then when I saw him last time. He had marks on his skin like he had been zapped with lightning over and over again and he was so weak he couldn't even lift his arm.

"Cole!" I shouted.

"Nya, it's a trap!" Cole coughed. His voice was really sore.

"What have you done to Jay Nadakhan!" I demanded.

"Me? You think this is my fault?" Nadakhan laughed.

"Allow me to explain that." Jay finally showed himself.

Jay looked like he had been put through a lot. He had scars all over his body and the bandages I put on him last time I saw him were all but torn off. His ankles were covered in scars but they didn't seem to be bleeding anymore.

"Jay?" I looked at him.

"Don't even try to talk me. You know what you did." He snarked.

"I'm here like you asked. Release Cole now." I demanded.

"You really think I was gonna keep that deal?" He laughed. "That was all a plot to get you down here."

"Why?" I asked, not surprised it was a trap.

"So you can watch your little boyfriend suffer."

Jay pulled the lever next to him and the cage Cole was in lowered closer to the tank. Cole didn't even move he just looked up at me.

"Jay stop! You've got it all wrong." I yelled. "Cole's not my boyfriend and he never was. You're the only one I've ever loved. Please Jay, you have to snap out of it."

"Shut it!" He yelled as he charged up his powers and inched closer to me. "You were planning this the whole time weren't you? You were just waiting until after the wedding to leave me in the dust and everyone was in on it."

"Don't you see what Nadakhan is doing? He's putting thoughts your head! You have to remember." I said backing away calmly.

"Oh I remember all too well." Jay said. "I remember our first date, our first kiss, when I proposed, all of it. They were all just part of your stupid plan."

"Plan? What plan?"

"Don't play dumb with me. This turned out exactly how you wanted."

He charged his lightning and shot a bolt right at me. I jumped out of the way just in time, but if I hadn't it would've hit me. Jay wasn't fooling around, he was actually trying to hurt me.

"All I wanted was to spend the rest of the life with you, just the two of us." I spoke as I backed away.

"Haha you make me laugh."

"I'm serious Jay. I love you and I miss you and I just want you to go back to normal."

"You're meaningless to me now."

Just looking into his eyes I could tell my brother was right. The Jay I knew was gone.

I was so in shock by his words I couldn't do anything. I couldn't bring myself to move when Jay's lighting bolt came straight at me. There was a quick flash of light and then nothing but darkness...

"Nya?" I heard a voice call out. "Nya, can you hear me?"

I opened my eyes to reveal Cole in front of me. I set up and held me head.

"Cole?" I looked at him. "Are you alright?"

"I was gonna ask you the same thing. That was some hit you took."

"I'm fine." I stood up and found my balance.

"Why did you come here? Didn't you know it was a trap?"

"Of course I did, but Jay threatened to hurt you if I didn't come alone." I explained.

"What about Kai and the others?" Cole asked.

"They're fine. Don't worry."

"Good." He sighed in relief.

"I'm judging by the way he's acting you haven't been able to talk sense into Jay yet?" I guessed.

"He won't exactly take the time to listen to me." Cole shrugged.

"We gotta find a way out of here." I said looking around the cell.

"I've been here for days, there's no way out. I've tried everything."

"Did you try the vent?" I pointed to the vent on the wall.

"Ugh! Why didn't I think of that?" Cole facepalmed.

"Hurry, you better go before Jay and Nadakhan get back."

"Me? What about you?"

"I'm staying to face Jay on my own." I told him. "If anyone can get through to him it's me."

"Yeah, that went so great the last two times you tried that." Cole said sarcastically.

"Look, the others are at Ninjago City Hospital. Meet up with them there and see if you can find a way to get the tiger widow's venom. It's the only thing I know of that can slow a djinn down. If you all can find it, we might stand a chance."

"Ok that stops the djinn, but what about Jay?" He asked.

"I have a plan, you just have to trust me."

"Ok Nya. Good luck."

"Thanks, I'll need it." I sighed.

I cupped my hands and let Cole step on them so he could get up to the vent. Then I waved goodbye and let him go and bolted the vent back up to cover his tracks. Now if I played my cards right, I should be able to get out of this mess.

Nadakhan poofed into the room and immediately noticed Cole was gone. Jay wasn't far behind him as usual.

"He escaped!" Nadakhan yelled. Oh when I find him..."

"You won't need to worry about him anymore." I laughed in an evil tone.

"What? Where did he go?" Jay wondered.

"I destroyed him. For you Jay."
