We made it back to the territory and were welcomed in. Seth got off Benton. Tetra, Petra, Benton, and Scott became human. I also shifted back.

" Sir," I said, " That will be a fee of coming to a party!" I shouted after Seth, as he took off to someone's cabin.

" We have access to David Portugano's residence! " Emma said.

" Party?" Sasha asked quietly.

" Yes" Jason spoke up. The whole pack cheered. Everyone went to work preparing. I ran to the cabin that Seth went into. I found him laying on a bed facing the ceiling. A cabinet was open in the kitchen area. I found 2 Coke cans in the refrigerator. I cracked one open and handed the other to Seth, who had sat up at the sound of the top of the can opening. I left him with his thoughts and Coke.

" Should'nt we check out the property first?" Henry asked.

" Yeah, actually" I said. We headed towards the mansion presuming wolf form. We crossed a road no problem and shifted to get into the gates of the mansion. Henry, who technically owned the place, let the butler go and the tenders and those kind of people. They asked why, and he said,

" Because the al- I mean friend of mine is getting the property from me" he nearly said alpha.

" There needs to be a sale" a gardener said.

" I offer it for a penny!" Henry said, hoping I had a penny on me.

" Here it is!" I said. He knew that I had a penny. I handed it to him.

Time Skip- 2 and a half hours later

The party was in place. It would officialy start when I cannonballed into David's gigantic pool. I took the plunge in 2 ways, wolf and human. Jax was not the best swimmer. Squirt guns were handed out, and we picked teams for a water fight. My team was Jason, Emma, Ike, Annie, and Anika. I didn't pick her, I came last and soo, yeah, I got her. There were 10 teams of 5. I made an alliance with Quinn's team for Emma's sake. We took hold of the backyard. Me and Jason started to enter the window. We got on the roof by climbing the Vulcan statues. I crouched to the left, Jason to the right. I started the breach. Gage was blasted by Jason as I rolled under 3 shots. Gage shifted. The rule was that once you were shot, you shifted.

Sonia came in, and was shot in the face immediately by me. We camped that room for the rest of the game. After that, the real party began. Everything was passed out. I ate my meal and walked out to the road. I remembered that Seth wasn't there. I started crossing. I looked down the road and saw headlights of a semi. I ran across as fast as I could. I saw a blonde boy around 15-16 in one of the seats. The driver didn't stop. I was going to be hit. I braced for the impact, but nothing prepared me for the pain.

The fender hit me in the ribs, most likely breaking a few. The rest of my body flew like a rag doll. My left arm twisted backwards and so did my left leg. My nose was broken for sure. My life was literally flashing before my eyes. I was as a baby, toddler, first day of kindergarten, sports achievements. My first few minutes as Jax came last. I slipped into unconsciousness as the blonde boy told me his name. ' I am going to die' I thought. I thought a silent prayer for God to help me.
