I may keep on adding new things to "A tribute to wattpad" as I experience new things or learn something new.

On the occasion of completion of one year by my Wattpad account, I thought give a tribute to Wattpad site, its members, my readers and some of the special people in my life

For a girl like me, it is really hard to get a chance to show people what I am capable of.

I belong to a small city of India and a girl who may have dreamt of being successful, but didn’t know how to.

Also, I never imagined presenting my works at the age of sixteen to the whole world. Yes, I had dreamt of doing that once but long in the future.

But the day I found out about Wattpad was the day I discovered how to improve my skill further.

Two three years back, I had created a blog and started posting poems in it but I couldn’t keep up updating it regularly. Also, I couldn’t honestly know about people’s opinion.

I think I should thank my Android phone to introducing me to Wattpad. I was unknown to this world, but my phone made me known.

I was searching through applications and read the most interesting description ever that was “Wattpad, world’s largest e-book community”

I quickly downloaded it and wasted no time researching on it. I preferred to be a silent reader for days and then after a lot of thinking decided to create an account. And I don’t ever regret that decision.

The day I created my account was June 19, 2012 which will always be a special one to me. 

My first story posted there was “Dream home” which was a horror based story, but I never completed it as I am not good at describing horrors. But now I think, after all my other stories are over I would like to complete it. As it is said “You should complete what you started”.

Then I posted some poems on the site and got a positive response. Then one day a blind girl popped into my mind asking about colours and that was the day I got the plot line for the story “He showed me colours”. I have got a good response about the story plot line. Though bad response about my grammar but I think it gave me an inspiration to write further. After all, errors are made to be corrected.

Soon I started uploading other stories.

Also, I could not forget about the authors on Wattpad who gave me immense fun and entertainment through their stories. They were the one that made me sign up. I made the account to credit them and also show my works.

I cannot forget @Grayking. She was the first friend and fan I ever had on Wattpad and online world. Now, she is like a best friend to me. Just want to say to her "love you dear".

Also, I met many Indians here who made me feel homely.

Now, I have many foreign friends who I adore.

@Wantloveofmylove, don’t even think that I forgot about you Dee!  :) I think I am so lucky to find you. I feel like I got another sister. I know you have been waiting for my facebook friend request, but I am sorry, I have to let you wait a little bit more. But never doubt my love for you as a sister.

@Cfunk3- an awesome person and a lovely teacher. You not only do your duty as a teacher in real  life but also in this online world. People like you are rare to find who herself willingly come forward to help others. I am thankful to you for giving me advises when I needed, for cheering me up when I was depressed and supporting me. Thank you so much. I will say this again- I wish you were my teacher in real life :)

@SonaliRath, Idiot I can never forget about you if I die also. I know you will hunt down my ghost and annoy her :D Thank you for being always there for me. Love you so much Dee . I can never forget your support for me.

Wattpad will always be a part of my life. 

I think like me, millions of people in this world are grateful to Wattpad. Wattpad has changed many lives. It has made many published authors. It has shown a light to those writers who have lost their way in the darkness. It has nurtured many aspiring writers and made them into a beautiful flower which will never wither.

Wattpad is a platform for everyone, no discrimination, no country barrier, it is a nice place to enjoy reading, appreciate it and make new friends who may become for lifetime.

Thank you Wattpad for this wonderful year and for the future ones too.
