Sidharth felt restless after coming back from theatre. He wandered around his room while biting his nails. This was something new for him, completely new. Of course, he had felt attracted towards certain women, but this one was different. It was something which was beyond his control. As the days were passing, he was getting more and more curious about her. He just wanted to know everything about her, everything! and didn't wanted to share her with anyone.

He sat on the chair and took the whiskey bottle in his hand. Pouring some of it into the glass, he took it near his chest. Leaving a sigh, he took a gulp of the liquor. Sitting there for an hour and having a half bottle of whiskey didn't helped him much. Rather it worsened his pain. He wanted her badly. May she could be his heal. With a half closed eyes he searched for his phone around. Seeing it lying on the bed, he walked over to there after placing the glass on the table. Taking the phone in his hand, he lied on the bed with a smile.

Ooh my sweetie!

He whispered in a drunken voice and searched for her name in his phone. Finding her name, he grinned widely and dialed her number.

...

Shehnaaz was in deep sleep, when she got disturbed by the call. Her eyes opened widely seeing the the called id.

Sidharth!! iss time pe??

She got up from the bed in a jerk and attended the call.

Hello..Sidharth?? kya hua??

She asked in panic.

Haa...meim...meim hu...Why did you left me ?? Why mamma??

He was completely lost in alcohol by now.

She narrowed her eyes and looked at the caller id again. She was shocked to see that it was really him itself. 

Mammaa.... Why didn't you wait for me mammaa... I didn't knew! I didn't knew anything.... Why didn't you stopped me that day?? if....if you had.... I know, I am really bad..really.....

There were no more words from his side. after waiting for a minute, she wispered.

Sidharth?? Are you there?

Without getting any reply back, she assumed that he must be asleep. She had no clue, why her eyes were becoming teary. Her heart ached feeling the pain in his voice. She never in her dreams thought that he had so much of pain inside him. But the reason was still unknown to her. One thing was sure, He miss his mother so much and he feel guilty for something. The rest of the night was a sleepless one for her, on the other hand the reason of her sleepless night, slept on his bed still having the phone near to his ear.

.......

The next morning Sidharth opened his eyes, while holding his head with one hand.

AAh!! Sidharth! What did you do last night??

He scolded himself as he remembered nothing from last night. Seeing the condition of the room and almost empty wiskey bottle, He could guess what happened last night. He shook his head and walked towards the washroom to fresh up.

He directly went under the shower and turned on the tap. The cold water flew over his body. He closed his eyes and tears flew down along with the water. He couldn't go back to the past and correct his mistakes. Only he could do was to feel guilty for the rest of the life. He was not there for her, when she needed him the most. He was in the path that shown by his father. Completely lost in himself. And the rest of the life he was trying to be lost in himself, on which he was failing miserably. 

You are not this Sid!!

His heart mocked him many times. But, he didn't wanted to hear that. He didn't deserved a peaceful life. It is his punishment for leaving her alone.

The tears stopped after half an hour. He came out of the washroom and dressed up in a formal suit.

....

Shehnaaz!! Get up bachaa... aaj office nhi jaana??

Shehnaaz curled more into herself hugging the quilt.

Oho!! Sana udho!!

Janaki knocked on the door again. This time Shehnaaz opened her eyes immediately and checked her phone. It was already 8'o clock. She hurriedly went to washroom.

Kya hua kal raat? tu soyi nhi??

Janaki asked in concern putting two idlies in Shehnaaz's plate.

Shehnaaz shook her head in deny and smiled at her. The words of Sidharth were still roaming around her brain and she needed a lot of answers. But, she felt hesitant to ask it to someone about it. She was no one to query about his personal life. 

......

Both of them walked hurriedly into the office that both hadn't noticed the other one. 

Oops!! Sorrry!!

Shehnaaz said picking up the file from the floor as she bumped on to someone. Sidharth stood there silently as he wanted to recall something. Last night had something to do with her??? Never!!

He answered himself.

Shehnaaz looked at the person standing in front of her. Seeing Sidharth standing there with sunglasses made her curious to see those eyes. His words rang in her head. His pain was making her go weak. She gave a smile at him, Which he returned back politely. 

..

He was silent for almost an hour in the meeting. She knew a part of the reason and she wanted to know it fully. She wanted to pull him out of his sadness as he had given her a new home.

As the meeting got over, everyone got dispersed for lunch.

Sidharth looked up hearing the knock. He knew it would only her at this time and a smiled formed on his face. But he was more surprised as she got into the cabin and closed the door behind her. She would normally come and pass the lunch box to him and leave from there immediately.

She kept her bag on the table near the couch and took out three boxes from it. He narrowed his eyes as she opened the boxes and smiled at him.

Come, Luch karte hei.

She said settling herself on the couch. She tried hard to hide the nervousness she had. She wasn't sure whether he would like her being with him for the lunch or not. But, she didn't wanted to leave him alone, at least for today. He nodded and went near to her. She patted on the area next to her and like an obedient child, he followed her.

I thought...I would have my lunch with you today..are you okey with that?

She asked biting her lower lip. He chuckled and nodded positively. He was the happiest person on the earth at that time. Unfortunately, he couldn't express those.

Aaj sweet dish bhi hei.

She said excitedly pointing to the third box. She took one box and passed it to him. Taking the next one,She too started eating.

His eyes were no more in his control, they were sneakily looking at the beauty in front of him. 

Taking a piece of the dessert she had made for him, he grinned widely, which made her heart to feel full. She smiled along with him.

As she was about to leave the cabin, he held her hand and stopped her.

She turned towards him with a thudding heart.

Thank you, Shehnaaz!

He whispered . The emotions in those eyes were something she wasn't able to comprehend. They showed  a thousands of emotions, some of them which wasn't familiar with. They stood there like that for a few minutes. Sidharth could see that her eyes were having a lot of questions, for which he had no answer. He knew it wasn't meant for him. But, he chose to be selfish for a few minutes. There was nothing to loss in those few minutes. he slowly caressed her hand with his thumb, which sent shivers down her body.

He came back to the reality immediately. He left her hand and turned back instantly. The sudden rejection left  a punch in her heart. Without waiting for any words from him she left the room.
