Chapter 21 ━━ Reunion

Lorna is currently sitting on her bed next to unconscious Kai, who is laying on the bed peacefully. 

She stares at his handsome features and the next thing she knows is her playing with his dark brown ruffled messy hair. She runs her fingers downwards touching his face and stops at his kissable lips. That is when her lips begin to burn in the desire to kiss him. Damn, her hormones. You won't get this chance again, Lorna. Kiss him! Kiss him! It's not a crime to kiss a handsome, unconscious devil and he's not gonna know about this kiss anyway.

Deciding to listen to her heart, she leans forward and kisses his lips. He doesn't respond to the kiss since he's unconscious, but still... She feels damn good. 

She wishes she can rip his shirt and....No! She's not wishing for anything. Self control is important here. 

He starts to stir, giving her the signal that she should stop her kissing obsessions. She uses her vampire speed and jumps off the bed and quickly makes her messed hair and dress, before crossing her arms.

He slowly opens his eyes and sits on the bed, observing the unknown background around him. His eyes stop on her with an unreadable expression. 

Her heart is still throbbing inside her, but she manages to look pissed. She was pissed at him last, right? Don't let him know, Lori. Keep yourself as calm as possible. "You okay?"

"Yeah." He answers.

"Good. I think you should now go back to where you live." She says, keeping her straight face.

"It's not like I have a home to live in." He mutters to himself. "Can we talk?"

"I'm done talking to you, Kai. I don't even want to see your face again. Just go, okay?"

He sighs. "Thank you for taking care of me, while I'm out." 

"No problem. I have to go back to the party so...you should go now." She states, gesturing towards the door. 

Kai nods and licks his lips. But then, he suddenly looks like he realises something. He raises his eyebrow, licks his lips slowly like his lips taste something pleasant. He gives her a knowing look, smirking lightly and watching her reaction.

Crap! He knows. But how?

She gulps as she remembers that she applies lip gloss at the party. She's done. How she wishes for someone to kill her right now!

"You raped me while I'm knocked out. Didn't you?" He smirks at her.

"No!" 

"Don't lie." He sings. "I know what your lips taste like."

Damn. 

"Get out!" She shouts at him.

"This is unfair. Do you rape people and kick them out just like this?" He asks, getting off the bed and slowly making his way to her.

"I didn't fucking rape you, okay?! It was just a kiss, you bastard!" 

"Ooo.....!" He trails off, smirking. "So, you kissed me against my will."

"I didn't." She lies through her tongue.

"You're the one who said that you kissed me." He says, knowing that she's lying.

She sighs knowing that she's screwed up. "Fine. I did. What do you want me to do now? Worship you just because I kissed you when you were laying on my bed unconscious?" 

"No need to worship me." He smiles wickedly. "I want you to kiss me again." He leans closer to her ear and her pupils dilate which goes unnoticed by Kai. "Can you?"

Her heart is forcing her to jump into his bones already. But her brain is reminding her of the things he did to her one by one.

Lorna chooses not to answer but doesn't stop him. His hands catches her gently behind the neck and he presses his mouth to hers, softly but firmly. Then he moves one arm around her waist and pulls her closer to him. Screw everything. She kisses him back as she grabs into his hair and jumps into him, wrapping her legs around his waist.

Without breaking the kiss, he holds her still before dropping her into the bed.

"Unzip me." she commands.

"Not wasting any time, I see-"

"Shut up and unzip my dress." She snaps and he shakes his head in amusement, and she turns around and lifts her hair. 

His lips brush over the nape of her neck as he slides the zipper down her back. Goose bumps appear on her soft skin, and he follows them down her spine with his index finger. 

Shivering a little, she turns around, sliding down the sleeves of her dress. The whole thing drops to her feet, revealing her undergarments.

Kai is mesmerized by her beauty until she uses her vampire speed to take off his shirt and jeans before pushing him into the bed. She joins him, straddling him. Her mouth latches on to the skin on his neck, and she rolls her hips, pushing herself against her.

"Lori." He breathes heavily. "I'm going to finish before you start if you keep doing that."

She removes her lips from his neck. "What do you want me to do, Kai? Do you want to fuck me or do you want me to bl-"

He cuts her off with a kiss. Not wasting any time with foreplay. He wants her- he needs her-now. Within seconds, he flips, taking control and her undergarments fly across the room before separating her thighs even farther with his knees, and move to slide into her. 

Her eyes roll back, and she rakes her nails down his back. 

Kai groans and slams into her roughly, moving in and out at a much faster pace and she nods feverishly and moans louder at every thrust. He places a kiss on her calf as she stiffens. He is close... too close, and he buries his head in her neck as he fills in her. The rest of his head on her chest until their breathing returns to normal.

"That was..." She breathes, trying to fill in her lungs with much needed air.

"Better than Stefan's horrible attempt at giving you an orgasm?" Kai says sarcastically. He reeks jealousy, it's crystal clear to her.

"No. I was going to say Stefan's better at this department." Lorna says, trying her best to keep her straight face and his face falls faster than the light.

Kai sits on the bed with his hands, pulling on his hair roots, obviously stressing over. He mumbles the next few words. "I'll try to be better next time. Please don't leave me. I swear, I'll do my best-"

Then his emotions once again take full control by his jealousy and anger. He makes a hilarious face as he grits his teeth. "What makes him better for you? He isn't even that good looking, does he? I'll kill him and skin him, so you won't find him attractive anymore-"

Not being able to hold her laughter anymore, Lorna bursts laughs loudly, her head falling back to the pillow. "Oh my. Oh my, god. Your face. I can't stop laughing!"

Finally realizing it is all a game of her taunting, he glares at her. "You think it's funny, huh? I'll show you something funny."

Before she even reacts, he crawls over her once again, completely pinning her to the bed and this time, he makes sure to wipe all the memories of her moments with Stefan and crave his name into her brain with her pleasurable screams all night, over and over again.

Lorna wakes up next to a sleeping Kai. She groans and remembers how she did something she shouldn't. Just great. Why the hell can't she stay away from him? She angrily tosses the sheet away and collects her clothes which are now all around the room. She grabs some clothes from her wardrobe and walks into the bathroom.

After refreshing herself, she walks out of the bathroom, wearing her new clothes to see that Kai is no longer in the bedroom. His clothes are also no longer to be seen. There. He fooled you again. What do you expect, Lorna? He's a sociopath. He doesn't care about you. He takes what he wants and vanishes away when he's done. She sits on the bed and starts to sob, covering her face with my hands.

"Do you regret it?" She hears Kai's voice making her look up at a concerned Kai, who is sitting beside her. He's fully clothed and his earlier messy hair is now well combed. What is he still doing here? 

"Regret what?" She asks him harshly.

"What happened between us?" He asks nervously.

"That's the thing, Kai. I don't feel regret and that makes me want to kill myself!" Lorna yells at him.

He places his hand over her mouth to silence her. "Don't even say that again." 

"The moment this heart stops beating-" He moves his hand and places it over her heart. "-will be the last minutes of this heart beating." He says placing his other hand over his heart. "This is a promise." He crosses his heart. "I will stop fighting for life the moment you do the same." 

"I don't have purpose in my life without you because I love you too much." He says with a smile.

She collides into him without thinking about second thoughts and buries her head into his chest. And he rubs her back and kisses her head.

"Where were you? I thought you left." She says, inhaling his scent. 

"I used the bathroom in the guest room since you were using this." He says gesturing at the bathroom. "What made you think that I'll leave you when you're in this condition?" 

Lorna sighs in relief and happy because he's here with her. "Nothing." 

He links their hands making her look at him.

"Can I call you mine again?" He asks hopefully. Maybe she should give him another chance. Just this time. 

She nods, smiling.

Kai and Lorna are laying on the bed once again. She is resting her head on his chest as his hands are wrapped around her protectively like he's protecting a treasure.

"What's wrong? Your heart is beating so fast." She asks him, playing with the fabric of his shirt.

"Nothing, just keep sleeping." He answers calmly.

"Kai?" She calls out.

"Yeah, that's my name, princess." 

"I really miss you. A lot." She pours her heart out.

"I miss you too, darling. More than you can ever imagine." He strokes her hair making her eyelids become heavy and falls her into deep slumber.
