Chapter 4
"We need to do something quick, we are running out of time, the baby will be here soon and we still have no money and no place to live."
Marge said softly.
"I know baby,"
"When?"
"Tonight."
The plan the two came up with was over the top, but they figured they had no other choice since the plan that involved Jason working with his dad didn't pan out the way they had hoped. His mom and dad even though they were pissed that he got a girl pregnant were very supportive and gave him a spot in the construction company, to bad Jason was terrible at it. His dad tried teaching him but Jason was way to hard to teach. He threw attitude quick and ended up costing the company over $12,000 in supplies due to his tempers and busting everything, so his dad had no choice but to fire him.
That night Marge and Jason went forward with their plan and payed a little visit to Darla and Ron.
"OH MY GOODNESS!! RON, COME QUICK MARGE IS HOME!"
Darla yelled as she ran for the door to greet her daughter, Ron followed slowly.
"You're home! I cant believe it!"
Darla quickly wrapped Marge up in a tight bear hug and held her for a moment.
"Where have you been young lady? You had your mother worried sick."
Ron said angrily.
"Can we talk inside please?"
Jason asked politely.
"Absolutely! Come in, come in, make yourselves comfortable! Can I get you something to eat or drink?"
"No, thank you though."
Jason responded.
They gathered in the livingroom and sat on the couch, Darla and Ron sat on the love seat as they always do and Marge and Jason sat across from them on the other couch.
"Oh Marge, I can not begin to tell you how worried I have been, I have missed you so much, but I am so glad you came back!"
Darla said, carfully avoiding asking her where she has been. She was always good at hiding her anger, and she was furious at Marge, but she didn't want to upset her in fear of her running off again.
"I suppose you would like to know why I left."
Marge finally said.
"Yes, please, was it me? Did I upset you?"
Darla asked.
"No mom, I left because Im not living here anymore. I have a family now and I dont need the two of you breathing down my neck 24/7 telling me how to do everything."
"Furthermore, we do need one thing from the two of you, which is why we came back."
Jason added.
Marge and Jason glanced at eachother and smiled.
"Anything, anything you need sweety I am here for you!"
Darla said.
*******
Just as the two were leaving Marge doubled over in pain, she grabbed Jason's arm as she went down.
"The baby is coming, we need to get to the hospital now!"
Marge said in a shreek voice, her face crinkled as the pain was pounding away at her insides.
Jason quickly scooped her up and placed her in the back seat so she would have pleanty of room. He drove to the hospital calmly listening to Marge scream painfully in the back, her screams were oddly soothing to him. He called ahead so there would be nurses waiting outside for their arrival.
Fourty-five long minutes later, they were parents to a beautiful blue eyed boy, 6 pounds, 11 ounces, 19 inches long, and born December 5th, 1985!
"I guess its a good thing we acted when we did, other wise it would have been to late."
Jason said starring at their little bundle. The baby's eyes were captivating, yes they were blue big deal right? Wrong, they were a light crystal blue. Jason couldn't understand how two brown eyed people could create a child with those eyes, another thing that stood out was how tan his skin was, both his and Marge's skin were pale.
"Hum, maybe the drugs did it."
He thought to himself and pushed the lingering questions from his head. He turned back to Marge and told her he would be back in a few days to get her.
"Where are you going?"
"Well, someone has to retrieve the loot and find a place to call home. I will be back baby I promise."
"Ok."
For the next few days Marge sat starring at the baby she created, when he cried she pushed the 'call nurse' button on the side of her bed. She refused to touch the child, she didn't even want him in her room but they left him in there anyway.
"I think it might be hungry, either that or it's diaper is full again."
Marge said to the aggrivated nurse.
"Are you even going to try to learn how to do this? If not we have no choice but to take this baby from you."
"Fine, give it."
"Another thing, name the child and stop calling him an it."
The nurse gently placed the baby in Marge's arms.
"Now, obviously you have a basic grasp on why he might be crying, so why dont you figure it out instead of me telling you."
"Its hungry."
"HE, HE is hungry, so feed him. While you do that I will go gather your paper work."
The nurse walked to the front desk and informed the head doctor about what was going on.
"I dont think she is fit to have this child, she wont feed him, she wont hold him, she wont change his diapers, she keeps referring to him as an it, and keeps buzzing the nurses station every time he cries."
"Which room?"
"132."
The doctor walked into Marge's room, Marge and the baby were both gone.
"Nurse, there is noone in that room."
"What? She was just in there."
"What was the name?"
"Jacobs, Marge Jacobs."
Doctor Waller's jaw dropped, and his eyes grew wide with shock, then suddenly snapped back to normal.
"Go figure."
The nurse gave a confused look.
"That girl was in here a couple months ago, she tried to self abort with a coat hanger and it didnt work out to well for her. It ended up hurting her and didn't touch the baby at all. I called her parents and gave them an update on her well being, turned out she had been missing for a little over a week. Well, by the time her parents got here, she was gone. So I guess it is no supprise that she vanished again, but we should probably get law enforcement involved because that child is in danger."
