The King has arrived in Link Vrains

A/N: just a heads up, the events of Vrains are going to be very different here than in canon. Just thought I'd give the heads up first

(3rd Person PoV)

"Yusaku? Yusaku!"

A boy with blue hair and pink highlights opened his eyes and lifted his head up from his arms. He blinked sleepily.

"Come on man. I have been trying to wake you up for five minutes," a boy with green hair huffed.

"Mmm'sorry. Didn't get much sleep last night," Yusaku yawned.

He didn't add on to that. None of his business to know why Yusaku wasn't sleeping well.

"Well I got some news, my good buddy!" The green haired boy stated.

"Shima...no offense but I don't care," Yusaku deadpanned.

"Sheesh, you're in a bad mood but anyways! Haven't you heard? There's a new player on Link Vrains!" Shima stated.

Now this got Yusaku's attention. And apparently two others as well.

"New player?" A boy with fluffy white hair and red highlights and wearing green glasses appeared in the entrance of the classroom.

"On Link Vrains?" A girl with short brown hair appeared behind him.

"Yeah, Takeru, Aoi. They call him The King and he hasn't lost a duel from what I have heard," Shima stated.

Never lost a duel? We'll see about that, Yusaku thought.

"Huh. Interesting. Do you know what type of player he is?" Takeru asked.

"All I know, from what the forums say, that he plays fiend monsters. Usually," Shima explained.

"And did he just show up out of nowhere?" Aoi asked.

"Yeah, it's crazy," Shima stated and to this Yusaku got up and left the classroom. Takeru and Aoi followed him.

Shima was confused and why did they leave but he didn't follow them.

When there was no one around, three new voices popped up from all three of their Duel Disks.

"A new player in Link Vrains? Why did this guy gain your interest when no other has?" A black and purple figure asked.

"Something about this 'The King' seems...off putting, Ai," Yusaku said.

"Off putting? You can say that again. How much you bet that he can be on your level?" A black and red figure asked.

"We're not sure, Flame. We might need to check this guy out," Takeru replied.

"Aqua, have you received any visions?" Aoi asked and the blue figure shook her head.

"Nothing. It's been too quiet," Aqua replied.

"Well Takeru, you're right. We have to check this guy out for three reasons. One, we need to see what type of duelist he is. Two, we need to his alignment whether he is friend or foe. And three, if he's with Sol Technology or anyone else," Yusaku explained.

"Eh, guess you have a point. So you're going to log on after school?" Ai asked.

"That's correct. Let's meet up at Kusanagi's hotdog truck," Yusaku stated and the rest nodded.

"Hmmm, I can't find anything on this The King guy. Looks like he did pop out of nowhere," Kusanagi stated as he typed on the computer.

Yusaku and Ai were beside him.

"Yeah and I can't sense him on Link Vrains right now. Looks like he just came in, duel for a bit and logged off. Slippery kind of guy," Ai added on.

Yusaku was about to say something when they heard someone knocking on the side of the truck.

"Oi! Are you open?" An unfamiliar voice called out.

They quickly turned off the computer and went to the kitchen and opened up the blinds to reveal a yellow haired man with purple eyes and a white coat standing with his arms crossed.

"Sorry we were busy setting things up. What can we get for you?" Kusanagi asked.

"A hotdog and a soda, strawberry flavored but make it snappy," the yellow haired man said.

Kusanagi and Yusaku sweat dropped at this before Kusanagi said, "sure thing."

The yellow haired man made a huff sound and then paid for his food before going to sit down on a bench.

Yusaku noticed that he sat near a weird vehicle that is in a shape of a circle.

Weird, he noted.

He turned on the stove and Kusanagi placed the sausage on there.

It took a bit before the hotdog was ready.

As Yusaku was getting the soda ready, Kusanagi called out to him, "Yusaku! Your friends are here!"

Yusaku poked his head out to see Takeru and Aoi standing there, waiting.

He gave them a 'one moment' gesture before returning to place the cap on the soda cup.

The yellow haired man suddenly appeared when Yusaku was done.

"And here you go. Say, that's an interesting vehicle there. Is that yours?" Kusanagi asked and pointed to the circle vehicle.

"Hmmm? Yeah, it's mine," the man stated as he took the bag that had the hotdog and the cup.

"Never seen that kind of vehicle before. Are you new around here?" Kusanagi asked.

"You...could say that," the man said and left to show that he didn't want to continue the conversation.

"Well, he seemed interesting," Takeru said as he and Aoi walked up to them. And then entered into the hotdog truck.

"Yeah...so you're going to log onto Link Vrains to check this The King guy right?" Kusanagi asked and they nodded.

"I looked on the forums to see what his avatar looked like. I'll tell you guys when we get there," Takeru explained.

"Do we know anything other than his avatar?" Aoi asked.

"Nothing. The only information that we know is the information that anyone could get if they looked on the forums but other than that, we're at a blank," Yusaku explained.

"Then we have to find him ourselves. And if we can't find him, we'll draw him out," Aoi stated.

"Sounds like a plan," Takeru said.

"You are really serious about getting answers from The King," Ai sighed.

"There's no stopping them when they put their minds to it," Aqua told him.

"They're fired up as one would say," Flame stated.

"Alright, go log in. I'll keep on eye on anything that happens," Kusanagi stated and all three of them nodded.

"It's time...TO LINK INTO THE VRAINS!"

In a flash, all three of them transformed into their avatar and logged onto Link Vrains.

On a rooftop, a man with blue and orange hair appeared wearing grey and orange clothes and a red scarf appeared.

He cracked his knuckles and stretched out his arms.

"Alright, I'm here!" He stated.

Then a woman with long blue hair, grey and indigo clothes appeared behind him.

"Soulburner," she said.

"Blue Maiden," he nodded at her.

"Playmaker still isn't here?" She asked.

"No I just arrived. How long do you think it'll take him?" Soulburner asked.

"Not that long, hopefully," Blue Maiden told him.

Then a man with bright yellow hair, red and purple highlights and wearing green and black clothes appeared.

He looked around before spotted his friends.

"I'm the last one here?" He asked and the two of them nodded.

"So...where do we start, Playmaker?" Soulburner asked.

"We search. That's what we can do for now. After an hour or so, we meet back here," Playmaker explained.

"Alright. See you in an hour," Blue Maiden said and the three of them jumped on their Duel Boards and hovered on the trails of data.

Before they separated though, Soulburner shouted, "His avatar is of a long white coat, a silver emblem that has the letter K and a white motorcycle helmet!"

They know what The King's avatar looks like now.

Playmaker was hovering on the trails of data, looking around.

"Are you sure that this is the best way that we'll find The King?" Ai asked.

"No but it's best to start this way," Playmaker told him.

"Well it's not like he's going to just appear like that," Ai pointed out but just then...

"I heard that you were looking for me?" Beside the two of them, a man wearing a long white coat, a silver K emblem and a white motorcycle helmet appeared while on a hoverboard.

"Are you The King?" Playmaker asked.

"Yes and you must be Playmaker. That makes things easier than searching for you in the real world," The King stated.

Playmaker flinched at this. He's been looking for me? He thought.

"Playmaker, I challenge you to a duel!" The King shouted and a Duel disk activated.

"Huh. That's a weird looking Duel disk," Ai noted.

Playmaker ignored this and tilted his head slightly to look at The King.

"Then I accept your challenge," he said.

"Let's Speed Duel!"

Playmaker - 4000 LPS

V.S

The King - 4000 LPS

"I'll allow you to take the first turn," The King said.

"Fine by me, I draw!" Playmaker shouted.

"I summon Rom Cloudia (ATK: 1800. DF: 0) and if I control a cyberse monster on the field, I can special summon Backup Secretary (ATK: 1200. DF: 800)," he started.

A black sheep like monster and humanoid monster wearing a black dress with a clear skirt and purple hair appeared.

"And now I have everything that I need to manifest my circuit. The summoning conditions require two cyberse monsters so I'm placing Rom Cloudia and Backup Secretary in the Link arrows," Playmaker added on.

Two arrow beams, one black and one purple, shot themselves into a blue circuit that had a total of 8 arrows. They both went into two of the arrows.

"I Link summon! Link 2, Code Talker Inverted (ATK: 1300. Link -2. ◀️▶️)!" Playmaker shouted.

A tall silver humanoid holding onto a pitchfork appeared.

"So you are Link summoning immediately," The King noted.

"That's right and not only that but I can use its special ability. When Link Summoned, I can special summon one Cyberse monster from my hand to the zone that Code Talker Inverted points to," Playmaker explained before adding on, "So I choose Defect Compiler (ATK: 1000. DF: 1000.)."

A small, white robot with green text on its screen and had yellow lines for eyes appeared.

"With that, I end my turn," Playmaker said.

"That was a good start but not good enough," The King said before drawing a card.

"When you've the only one who controls a monster, I can special summon Vice Dragon (ATK: 2000. DF: 2400) from my hand but it's attack and defense points are halved," he explained.

A purple dragon with green leathery wings appeared.

2000 —> 1000 ATK

2400 —> 1200 DF

"However, that is only a small price to pay though. Because I can then special summon the tuner monster, Vision Resonator (ATK: 400. DF: 400) when there is a level 5 or higher Dark type monster on the field!" The King shouted.

A small monster with a red eye symbol on its chest appeared.

"Did he say tuner monster?" Ai gasped.

"That's right and that could only mean one thing," Playmaker said.

"You guessed correctly because now I can tune level 2 Vision Resonator with level 5 Vice Dragon! The ruler's shouts echo thorughout! Hammer of Victory, shatter the very earth! Synchro Summon! Flap your wings, Explode Wing Dragon (ATK: 2400. DF: 1600)!" The King shouted with fierce might.

A large black dragon with red fins around its head and red leathery wings appeared and roared which shook the data trails that they were hovering above.

"Th-that's a strong monster!" Ai yelped.

"Yeah, no need to tell me that," Playmaker stated.

"Don't sass me like that!" Ai snapped.

"Battle! Explode Wing Dragon, destroy Code Talker Inverted. And by doing so, not only will I destroy your monster and inflict damage onto you, but also you take damage equal to that destroyed monster's attack points," The King explained.

"So we take double damage!" Ai cried.

"Not for long. I activate Defect Complier's effect. If I would take damage from a card effect, I can add Defect counter instead. So I will only take damage when you destroy my monster by battle and not by effect," Playmaker stated.

While his monster got destroyed, he got less damage than what he would have gotten if he took 1300 points of damage as well.

4000 —> 2900 LPS

"Hmmph. You're as good as they say you are," The King noted.

"This guy is strong. We have to be careful and beat him quickly," Ai said.

"I know," Playmaker said, gritting his teeth.

"I set this card down and before I end my turn, I'll use Vision Resonator's effect. If it was sent to the graveyard, then I add a spell or trap card that mentions a specific monster. Now my turn is done so show me a duel worthy of one of the strongest duelists on Link Vrains," The King stated as he grabbed a card from his deck.

"Then I start my turn!" Playmaker exclaimed and drew a card.

As the duel was going on, Soulburner landed on a building.

"No luck here," he sighed.

"Yes I must admit that our search hasn't gone too well but we mustn't give up," Flame told him.

"Yeah, you're right," Soulburner sighed.

I just hope the other two have better luck, he thought.

Back at the duel, Playmaker was thinking of a strategy to defeat The King.

"I summon Cyberse Wizard (ATK: 1800. DF: 800) and when I normal summon a Cyberse monster, I'm able to special summon Boot Staggered (ATK: 2300. DF: 500)," he said.

Two monsters showed up. One was a humanoid with a white robe and green lines. Another was humanoid shaped but had stag antlers on it.

"And then I use Defect Complier's effect! By removing one Defect counter, one Cyberse monster of my choosing and it gains 800 attack points until the end of this turn. And I choose Boot Staggered," Playmaker explained.

A small counter that was on Defect Complier popped off and exploded into bits of sparkles which helped Boot Staggered gain attack points

2300 —> 3100 ATK

"Now attack. Staggering Code!" Playmaker shouted and his monster attacked Explode Wing Dragon.

4000 —> 3300 LPS

"Tch!" The King huffed.

"And since Boot Staggered inflicted battle damage to you, I can special summon a Stag token (ATK: 0. DF:0) and now I have everything that I need to manifest my circuit again!" Playmaker shouted and a blue arrow circuit appeared.

"The summoning conditions are at least 2 effect monsters. So I send Boot Staggered, Defect Complier and Cyberse Wizard in the Link arrows," he explained.

Three arrows beams popped out and shot themselves in the circuit.

"I Link summon! Link 3, Decode Talker (ATK: 2300. LINK -3. ↙️⬆️↘️)!" Playmaker shouted.

A tall humanoid wearing purple and navy armor and holding onto a large sword appeared.

"And now I use Decode Talker's effect. When there's a monster that's pointing to its link, Decode Talker gains 500 attack points," Playmaker explained.

2300 —> 2800 ATK

"Woohoo! And we can do a direct attack on him since he doesn't have any monsters left!" Ai cheered.

"You're right and that's exactly what we're going to do. Direct attack, Decode Talker!" Playmaker shouted.

SLASH!

3300 —> 500 LPS

"Heh, guess you took what I said seriously," The King said with a smile on his face.

"I end my turn," Playmaker said, confused on The King's attitude.

Even Ai pointed this out with, "He's down to 500 life points and he's happy? You meatbags are still weird to me."

"My turn," The King drew a card. As he looked at the cards in his hand, he then laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" Playmaker asked.

"I haven't felt this excited when I first came here. All the duelists that I've challenged hadn't even brought me down to 1000 life points. I guess she was right in sending me here," The King said.

"She?" Both Ai and Playmaker asked.

"Well that's something that I'll tell you after our duel but I suppose it's now time to tell you the conditions of our duel. If I win, you have to come with me and help out. If you win, you can stay in this di...this world," The King said.

"Oh now, he's placing conditions? Geez," Ai sighed.

"Di...di what? You were about to say something else before you changed it to world. What were you about to say?" Playmaker asked.

"That's for me to know and you to find out. But enough chitchat, it's time to duel! And I'm going to start off with this!" The King shouted.

"I summon the tuner Red Resonator (ATK: 600. DF: 200) and when normal summoned, I can special summon a level 4 or lower monster. I special summon Power Supplier (ATK: 400. DF: 400)," The King explained.

"Another tuner? Is this guy going to Synchro Summon again?" Ai asked.

"You can tell your little buddy to pipe down!" The King snapped.

"Rude," Ai huffed but Playmaker did secretly agreed.

Meanwhile, on the building Soulburner was standing on, Blue Maiden hovered by and landed next to him.

"No luck?" Soulburner asked and she just sighed.

"How hard is it to look for a guy who has...that type of presence, you know?" Blue Maiden asked.

"I suppose he'll just show up? I dunno, let's hope that Playmaker has a better chance of finding him," Soulburner asked.

Then Flame perked up and poked out of Soulburner's duel disk.

"Do you see that?" He asked.

"See what?" Soulburner asked and both him and Blue Maiden turned to look where Flame was looking at.

"Is that Playmaker?" Blue Maiden asked.

"And he's dueling? At this time?" Soulburner asked.

"Wait...," Blue Maiden narrowed her eyes as she looked at Playmaker's opponent.

She then jumped off the building and onto her duel board.

"Hey, wait!" Soulburner cried and followed her example.

They followed where Playmaker was dueling.

Back at the duel, The King started again.

"And then when I normal summon a Resonator monster, I can special summon Red Warg (ATK: 1400. DF: 2200) but it's attack gets halved," he explained.

A red wolf with flames around it appeared.

1400 —> 700 ATK

"And then I'm going to tune these two monsters. Level 2 Red Resonator tunes level 6 Red Warg. The ruler's heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation-shaking power! Synchro Summon! My very soul, Red Dragon Archfiend (ATK: 3000. DF: 2000)!" He cried.

A large, powerful red dragon with black leathery wings and had three horns on its head appeared and roared. If Explode Wing Dragon's roar was mighty enough to shake the trails of data, then Red Dragon Archfiend's roar was mighty enough to not only shake the trails of data but also echo through the entirety of Link Vrains.

That definitely took Soulburner and Blue Maiden by surprise when they came hovering by.

"Whoa! What kind of dragon is that?" Soulburner cried.

"Playmaker has to be careful with this," Blue Maiden acknowledged.

"Consider yourself lucky enough to witness my Ace. I haven't brought him out on a duel yet and Red Dragon Archfiend has been very eager to duel," The King explained.

"I can see that," Playmaker stated with a bit of edge in his voice.

He has faced tough opponents before but this one...

This one felt different.

"And now I'll activate the continuous spell card, Resonant Destruction. Whenever a Resonator monster is sent to the graveyard for a Synchro Summon, I can target a card on your field and destroy it," The King stated.

"I activate Decode Talker's effect. By tributing a monster that Decode Talker is linked to, I can negate a card activation that targets a monster and when I do, I can destroy it," Playmaker said but The King only grinned.

As his card shattered into pieces, The King looked at the rest of the cards in his hand.

I think it's time to use...that card, he thought.

2800 —> 2300 ATK

"Your monster is back to its original attack points, I see," The King noted.

"Based on the field, his dragon has 3000 and Decode Talker has 2300. If he attacks now, we'll only lose 700 attack points which is not enough to defeat us," Ai noted.

I have to beat him in my next turn then, Playmaker thought but then something that The King said surprised the both of them.

"I'm ending this duel right here and right now! Attack Red Dragon Archfiend!" The King shouted.

"Ha! You'll only deal us 700 points of damage," Ai laughed.

"But that's what you're wrong about. I use the Quick Spell, Absolute Powerforce. When I have a Red Dragon Archfiend and it's going to battle your monster, I can apply these effects. One, my dragon gains 1000 attack points. Two, you can't activate cards or effects. Three, if I attack a monster in defense mode, I can inflict piercing damage but that won't be necessary. And finally four, any battle damage that you would take gets doubled," The King explained.

"D-Doubled?! So that means...we'll take 3200 points of damage!" Ai cried.

3000 —> 4000 ATK

"But that's still not enough," Playmaker stated.

"You're right...until I activate my skill. King of the Archfiend! Until the end of this turn, I can target an Archfiend Synchro monster and it gains 100 attack points for each of its levels. Red Dragon Archfiend is level eight so it gains 800 attack points," The King explained.

4000 —> 4800 ATK

"So normally if his monster attacks Decode Talker, we would lose 2500 points of damage but since it's double...AHHH NO!" Ai cried again.

"5000..."

"Points of..."

"Damage."

Soulburner, Blue Maiden and Playmaker finished their sentences.

"And I won't stop there! Have you forgotten about my other monster? Once per turn, I can use Power Supplier's effect to choose a face up monster and have it gain 400 attack points while Power Supplier is face up on the field," The King explained.

"More?" Ai asked.

4800 —> 5200 ATK

"No way! Please tell me that you have a backup plan?" Ai begged.

"Unfortunately...I don't think this time I do. We lost, Ai," Playmaker said in a low voice.

"That's right! Now take him down! Blazing Crimson Hell Flare!" The King shouted.

With a ball of flame hovering above its claw, Red Dragon Archfiend brought down its claw to punch Decode Talker which the impact knocked Playmaker off his duel board.

2900 —> 0 LPS

WINNER: The King

"Playmaker!" Soulburner and Blue Maiden cried as Playmaker crashed into a nearby building.

The King stopped by that building and then looked at the two other duelists.

"Kusanagi's Hotdog Truck. I expect you to not go anywhere," he said as he logged out.

Soulburner and Blue Maiden were in shock.

(Later)

"You're telling us to stay calm...YET HOW CAN WE WHEN A RANDOM DUELIST COMES IN AND BEATS PLAYMAKER AND I!" Ai cried.

"Pipe down, Ai. Seriously, weren't you listening? They were talking about what to do next and in order for that to happen, we must stay calm," Flame said.

"And I wouldn't call this guy random. He might have appeared out of nowhere but his dueling record from what I can pick up is no joke. The word, mysterious, fits him better," Kusanagi pointed out.

"Y-Yeah and he's seriously so strong. He didn't even need to use his dragon's effect whatever it was," Takeru added on.

Aoi glanced at Yusaku who was sitting in a slump on a chair.

"You ok?" She asked, quietly.

He didn't respond but his body language said enough. He was frustrated and upset.

Aoi wished she could comfort him but how.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"We're closed!" Kusanagi called out.

"This is an important business that I have with the duelist I just fought," a voice that sounded familiar said.

Immediately, everyone looked up and Kusanagi lifted up the steel curtain to reveal...

The same yellow haired man with purple eyes. His arms were crossed and he seemed to be staring at all of them as he was analyzing them.

It seemed like it was a stretch but...

"Are you The King?" Takeru asked.

"Took you long enough," The King stated.

After a short bit, he went inside the hotdog truck and sat on a stool.

"So...mind telling us what your conditions were all about?" Kusanagi asked.

"Alright. It's about time that you all know and what's about to happen to this dimension," The King said.

"Dimension?" Aoi asked.

"My name is Jack Atlas and I came here to recruit a certain duelist for this upcoming danger," he said.

"Danger?" Yusaku finally spoke up.

"Soon, this dimension will be overrun by Duel Monsters and they will attack innocents. It's all because of this group who want to destroy every single dimension. This one, mine and so many others. My team and I are gathering duelists from different dimensions to combat this group," Jack explained.

"Huh? Then how do we know that you're not lying?" Ai asked.

Then a loud beeping noise began to start and Kusanagi turned to the computer and cursed under his breath.

"Looks like he was right because check this out," he showed them the screen.

Many monsters were popping out of nowhere and were causing destruction. Beams of energy were being shot at multiple buildings and people were screaming in fear.

"No way...so you're here to recruit a certain duelist?" Takeru asked.

"Essentially but others may come. We might need all the help we could possibly get," Jack explained.

He then stood up and looked at Yusaku.

"You already prove your worth to me in our duel. Since you lost, you have to come with me to help but are you ready to fight in this battle?" Jack asked.

"..."

Yusaku then stared at the screen where the destruction was happening.

He might have lost that duel but even if he didn't, now that he has this knowledge, can he just stand by and let this all happen?

"..."

"Well?" Jack asked.

"I'm going. Take me to the fight," Yusaku stated.

"Whoa whoa. Are you sure about this?" Kusanagi asked, concerned.

"This is a tough decision. Are you sure that you'll be ok with this?" Takeru asked.

"Well I lost so I don't really have a choice but still...I can't let innocents get hurt," Yusaku replied.

"I agree and since you said that other duelists can come, I'll be going with you," Aoi said.

"You sure?" Yusaku asked and she nodded.

"The more the merrier," Jack shrugged.

"And then I'm coming with you too!" Takeru said.

"Alright but don't expect to be comfortable in my D-Wheel," Jack stated and left the truck.

"Wait, what does he mean by that?" Takeru asked.

"And what's a D-Wheel?" Aoi asked.

"Since there's no stopping you, I suppose I should say good luck and be careful. You never know what can happen," Kusanagi said.

"We'll be careful," Yusaku told him and the three of them stepped out.

"So...no regrets here?" Flame asked.

"Can't really stop them once they put their minds to it," Aqua told him.

"Well, we better not lose to this group," Ai noted.

All of them nodded and a loud vroom sound made them look up.

Jack was in his circle shaped vehicle and was looking at them.

"What are you waiting for? Get in," he pointed to the small space behind him.

Oh no, all three of them thought.

They got in and just as they thought, the space was small, cramped and uncomfortable. Aoi had to hold both hands on her skirt so it doesn't go flying up.

Jack revved up and drove off onto the streets.

"Geez, couldn't this guy choose a better vehicle to drive?" Ai complained.

"The Wheel of Fortune was made for speed and dueling, not for comfort!" Jack snapped.

"So you duel with this?" Takeru asked.

Jack merely nodded before turning a sharp turn to dodge a beam of fire.

"Ah! Whose elbow is this?!" Takeru cried.

"Mine," Yusaku murmured as he got squished to the side.

"Sorry," Takeru apologized.

"I'm not going to repeat myself about this but hold on tight!" Jack called out.

"Wished you have given us a better warning," Aoi murmured.

Jack looked at his screen to see two monsters chasing them. One looked like a humanoid yellow hornet with a gun and another was a giant bug with a fork.

He wished he was kidding.

Jack felt his Signer mark glowing and cursed under his breath.

We're not going to make it in time with those monster's chasing us! Wait, I got it! He thought and looked at his deck which was just chilling by his side.

"Red Dragon Archfiend! Destroy those monsters chasing us!" He called out and his monster appeared.

"Did he just called out his monster like that?" Ai asked.

"It appears that he did," Flame replied.

With a big explosion in the back and Red Dragon Archfiend returning to Jack's side, his Signer mark glowed even brighter and his D-Wheel was enveloped by a large crimson dragon.

A/N: yeah I made Playmaker, a character that usually wins (except for a few draws), lose. Jack is the king for a reason.

Also Aoi in this knows Playmaker and Soulburner's identity much earlier.

Also weird coincidence that this is the sixth chapter and Vrains is the sixth Yugioh series. The next one will the Sevens chapter. Both the chapter and the series (unless I split it in two which I may do but who knows).
