(3rd Person PoV)

"Yugo! How many times do I have to tell you? Clean up your Jack Atlas Ramen cups!" A green haired girl called out while dragging a garbage bag out the door.

"Sorry Rin, but I'm a bit busy right now," Yugo called out to her.

"Stupid Yugo. I told him a million times to clean up after himself. Guess he never changes," Rin grumbled before giggling a bit.

He may be an idiot but he's her idiot.

Rin went to the garage in the back to throw the garbage bag out. She caught sight of her bracelet and sighed.

Hard to believe it's been a year since the war. Rin still has nightmares about that.

She would go and get therapy but they don't know anyone who could at least be in their shoes when talking about what happened.

Rin shook her head. Now isn't the time to be dwelling on that.

She then heard a loud hum of a D-Wheel running.

"Yugo! I told you to keep it down a little when you're testing the D-Wheel!" Rin called out to him.

"What? I'm just fixing the Duel disk, I'm not doing anything to the engine yet!" Yugo called back.

"Then who-?" Rin started but got interrupted by a woman's voice.

"Was that Yugo?" Rin turned around to see a woman with crimson hair and upon a red D-Wheel. When she saw her, the woman seemed to give her a look of...guilt?

"Who are you?" Rin demanded.

"My name is Aki Izayoi and the two of you are in danger," the woman replied.

"What? In danger? What do you mean?" Rin asked.

"Rin! Come here quick!" Yugo called out. His voice was panicking.

Rin glanced at the woman who seemed to give her a nod to go to Yugo.

She slowly returned to the house while looking behind her shoulder to see if Aki had moved at all.

She hasn't.

"What is it?" Rin asked as soon as she saw Yugo. He had the small radio that they have in his hands. It seems like there was an announcement on the radio station that they both like listening to.

"I repeat, do NOT go outside on the streets! Stay inside, lock your doors and stay hidden! There are duel monsters ready to maim people if you're not careful. At least 10 people have been rushed to the hospital. Stay inside!" The announcement stated

"Duel monsters? And no duelists around?" Rin asked.

"Yeah it's not like...that you know. It's way different," Yugo explained.

"Different? Is this what you were talking about?" Rin turned to look at where she left Aki at.

"Huh? Who are you...wait who are you?" Yugo yelped and pointed at Aki.

"As I told her, my name is Aki Izayoi and the two of you are in danger but it's not just you. It's your whole dimension. You heard the radio, there are duel monsters and they're hurting innocents. I know the reason why those duel monsters are here," Aki explained.

"You know?" Rin asked.

"Well I can't fully share the details here because we're not complete. There are three other dimensions here right?" Aki asked.

Yugo and Rin looked at each other, unsure of how to answer her.

"I understand that what you two have been through is still difficult but I can promise you that as long as we know what we're doing, no one else will get badly hurt. My team and I will do everything in our power to make sure that nothing like what you experienced happened," Aki explained.

"..."

Yugo looked at her before looking back at Rin.

"You will?" He asked and she nodded.

"I think we should trust her...just a little bit," Rin suddenly spoke up.

"I guess," Yugo said. They both look like they were in agreement with her.

"Alright. Hop onto your D-Wheel and follow me. And if a Duel monster attacks you, just follow my lead," Aki stated.

Yugo went to the garage to unplug wires that were connected to the Duel disk on his D-Wheel.

Rin opened it up and then hop on the back of Yugo's D-Wheel while Yugo got on it.

They both picked up their helmets and placed it on.

Yugo revved it up as Aki drove off and he followed her, Rin holding on.

The radio was right, there were some monsters flying around and were making destruction. Thankfully, looks like the Commons heed the warnings of the radio and there doesn't seem to be many people out.

Unfortunately that meant that the monsters were now going to target the moving D-Wheels. Thankfully, Aki has already formed up a plan.

"They're coming closer!" Rin exclaimed as a couple of Amazon women were chasing them. One of them had a chain and was spinning it in the air.

"Yugo, Rin, do you have your deck?" Aki asked.

"Of course we do. Wouldn't leave home without it," Yugo stated.

"Good, just follow my lead!" Aki explained.

Follow her lead? How? Yugo thought.

Just as the Amazoness threw her chain to attack Yugo's D-Wheel, a small dragon with blue rose petal wings nipped at the chain and deflected it.

"What? Did you summon that duel monster?" Rin asked.

"It's the only way to stop the monsters from chasing or at least delay them until we get to our destination," Aki explained and an arrow flew over her head.

"I guess since we saw her stop that chain, we may have no choice but to summon our own monsters," Yugo noted.

"Yeah," Rin began to fiddle around with her D-pad and then placed her deck in it.

The Amazoness who shot the bow and arrow pulled up another arrow and aimed at Aki again.

She let the arrow fly but just before it could reach Aki, it was suddenly frozen with ice.

Suddenly by Rin and Yugo's side, a small pink humanoid monster with a purple witch hat and was riding on a crystal broom and holding onto a wand.

"It worked!" Yugo gasped.

"Of course it did," Rin told him.

"Alright my turn!" Yugo cheered.

"We're getting closer to our destination. I can feel it, Yugo make sure that you're near me or it won't work," Aki explained.

"Ok...hey look up ahead!" Yugo suddenly shouted.

Aki silently cursed as there were multiple Amazoness blocked the road. A more muscular woman held up a giant sword and looked ready to cut both D-Wheels in half.

"Are you sure there's no other way?" Rin asked.

"Yes I am sure," Aki explained and her mark began to glow. It was now or never but they first need to figure out why to do about the Amazoness.

"Let's do this, Speedroid Double Yo-yo!" Yugo shouted and suddenly a yo-yo with spikes at the edges appeared and spun itself around the Amazoness, destroying all but the Amazoness that was holding the giant sword.

She looked around confused but then Aki and Yugo raced past her.

The Amazoness Queen began to chase after them but then a large crimson dragon appeared and engulfed the three duelists up.

(In Neo Heartland City)

The reconstruction of Neo Heartland City was almost completed. After a year of almost complete destruction, the citizens of the XYZ dimension were able to bounce back especially with their newer allies from nearly a year ago.

"Alright, that should about do it," a girl with blue hair said to the construction workers.

"Looks like it's coming together nicely," a girl with purple hair and a feather hair accessory walked up to her.

"Yeah. It makes me happy seeing all of us working together to restore our city. What about you? Have those kids cause you any trouble?" The blue haired girl asked, referring to the kids that were playing various games.

"Oh no, Rio. They're just delighted to not be wallowed in despair and sadness. After all, they didn't have a place to call home," the purple haired girl said, sadly.

"I understand. After all, no one else knows the feeling of loss than us Neo Heartland Citizens. Just let me know if you need any help, Ruri," Rio stated.

"Thank you," Ruri gave her a bow before going to the kids.

"Ms.Ruri, can we play hide and seek?" One of the kids asked, tugging her hand.

"We already played that yesterday. I want to play tag," another kid complained.

"But we already played tag two days ago," some kids said at the same time.

"How about this? We can play Simon Says," Ruri suggested and the kids cheered.

"Ok, remember the rules. Only do the actions when I say Simon Says, ok?" Ruri asked and the kids nodded.

"Ok, Simon Says...touch the top of your head," Ruri started and all the kids did that.

"Simon Says...hop on one leg," Ruri said and all the kids did that, laughing as they did.

"Stop," Ruri said and some kids stopped.

"A-ha! You're out!" A kid pointed and those kids pouted.

"It's rude to point like that," Ruri reminded the kid gently.

"Sorry, Ms.Ruri," the kid said.

"Ok, Simon Says stop," Ruri said and all the kids, that were still in the game, stopped.

"Now Simon Says-," Ruri started but got interrupted by one of the kids.

"Look! Mr.Shun and Mr.Yuto are back!" The kid shouted.

Ruri turned around to see her older brother and her boyfriend.

"Big Brother! Yuto!" She went over to hug both of them.

"Ruri, glad to see that you're still alright," Shun told her.

Ruri nodded and said, "the kids have been a handful but nothing I can't handle. So how was the construction of the tower?"

Shun and Yuto looked at each other and a flicker of worry came through which Ruri caught.

"It's...we had better days," Yuto explained.

"It's that bad, huh?" Ruri asked and kept glancing at the kids who decided to play Simon Says on their own.

"The thing is, we have to construct it by memory since the original blueprint of Heartland tower have been destroyed by the invasion. Even if we use people who have the sharpest memories, it will still take a while to get it back to its original state," Shun explained.

Ruri looked down and clasped her hands together. Despite things going good for them, there are a lot of rocky moments that makes things difficult for Neo Heartland City to function like it used to.

Yuto noticed how sad Ruri was getting and placed his hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, everything will be ok eventually. Let's not give up hope," he told her.

"Yeah...thank you, Yuto," Ruri beamed at him and he blushed.

Shun opened his mouth to say something but then a scream of a child made them turn around.

A large cartoony skeleton and sharp claws appeared from a rift and began to torment some of the kids.

The rest of them had ran off towards Shun, Yuto and Ruri. They also raced towards them.

"What happened?" Shun demanded.

"W-we were playing and we found a w-weird gap between the grass. And th-then that monster came out of it," one of the kids sniffled.

"Oh no, look!" Yuto shouted and pointed to the skeleton who was about to bring down its claw on one of the kids.

Ruri raced towards the kid and swooped her up and barrel rolled away from the cartoony skeleton with Shun shouting her name in concern.

"You're safe," Ruri assured the girl who whimpered.

She then got up and raced back to Shun and Yuto who were guiding the kids away from danger.

"What was that?" She asked.

"It looks like Summoned Skull but as a cartoon?" Yuto said.

"It must be from the toon archetype then," Shun concluded.

"But how? I don't see anyone summoning the monster and the kids said that it came from a rift," Ruri stated.

Another scream made them look up and a construction worker was falling down from a beam.

Shun quickly grabbed his D-Pad and placed a monster down.

"Go Raidraptor- Vanishing Lanius!" He shouted and a mechanical green and blue bird appeared. It then plucked the worker with its beak and carefully placed him down.

"Th-thank you," he said.

"Get the kids to safety. Now!" Shun demanded and the remaining workers nodded.

"Go, you'll be safe," Ruri told the girl and she let go of her and the girl followed the rest of the kids.

Yuto turned to Shun.

"How did you figure out that was going to work?" He asked.

"Instinct I guess but it worked. We need to drive that toon away from here," Shun replied and the two of them nodded.

"I'll distract it while you two do a pincer attack. Let's go, Vanishing Lanius!" Shun commanded and his monster flew over to the toon.

The toon sticked it's tongue out and wiggled it's claws in frustration as the Raidraptor swooped in and out as if it was taunting it.

"Hey!"

The toon turned around to see Shun standing there, glaring at it.

The toon laughed gleefully and ran towards Shun, eager to have an easy target.

However...

"Lyrilusc- Celestine Wagtail!"

"The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves!"

Two monsters swooped in and slashed at the toon, destroying it but not before the three of them caught eye of it fizzling as it got destroyed.

"Did you see that?" Yuto asked.

"Yeah it was like...a hologram," Ruri stated.

"Something fishy is going on and I don't like it," Shun said.

Yuto nodded before seeing two cartoony dragons flying through the air. One was white with blue eyes and the other was black with red eyes.

"Something tells me that there's more coming," he said and pointed up.

What he didn't notice is that an insect like toon with a giant sword and large red eyes snuck behind him and raised its sword.

"Yuto look out!" Ruri cried.

Yuto turned around and held his hands up to shield himself until...

"Speedroid Terrortop!"

Multiple red tops with spikes spun in and destroyed the toon insect like warrior. Like the skeleton toon, it fizzled off before it got destroyed.

"Who?" Yuto asked and they heard someone cheering.

"Alright! First try!" They all turned around to see...

"Is that Fusion?" Yuto asked.

"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU!? MY NAME IS YUGO FOR F*CK'S SAKE!" Yugo shouted before getting karate chopped on the head by Rin.

"Hold on. How are you here?" Shun asked.

"It's all thanks to her," Yugo pointed to Aki. She looked...familiar to Shun.

"When did the monsters started to come?" Aki asked.

"Not too long ago. Why?" Ruri asked.

"It's happening much quicker than I anticipated. Listen, I have heard of what happened here. I know that you may not want to dimension travel again but please listen and understand that all the dimensions are in danger. Not just this one," Aki explained.

Yuto, Shun and Ruri looked down at this. Just when things were getting better.

"I know that it'll open some old wounds but if you want to help your dimension then come with us. I'll explain more details later because we're not complete yet," Aki explained.

"..."

"..."

"...I think we should go with them," Ruri said, suddenly.

"Huh? Ruri, are you sure?" Shun asked and she nodded.

"We'll be able to protect our dimension this way. And I have feeling I know what she means that we're not complete yet," Ruri stated.

"Oh...," Yuto understood what she meant by that and Shun, a second later, also figured it out.

"Alright, all three of us are going but you better explain when we get the other four," he said, crossing his arms.

"You have my word, I promise I'll explain what I can," Aki said.

Shun, Yuto and Ruri got on Yugo's D-Wheel. Yugo secretly hoped that the other four would hop on Aki's D-Wheel when they get there because it feels crowded on his.

They both revved it up and raced off. Aki's mark began to glow and the same crimson dragon came in and engulfed them up. To the next dimension they go!

(In the Fusion Dimension)

There was a small town with few people who weren't aware of the events that happened in the Academia over a year ago.

The perfect place to start anew again.

"I think we need to get more food that aren't cups of noddles," a girl with indigo hair sighed as she looked through the fridge. There was barely any food in it.

She was about to make a mental note to go grocery shopping later when a voice from the entrance called out to her.

"Serena, I'm home!"

"Yuri...you're here early. Please tell me that you didn't get fired again. If you did, I'm kicking you out of your room and force you to sleep on the couch," Serena told him.

"Ouch, no faith in me? No no, I'm on lunch break and was wondering if you would join me," a boy with purple and pink hair told her.

"Why would you ask me that?" Serena asked.

"Because I'm lonely. We barely get to see each other since we took those jobs. I have day shift and you have night shift. Of course, one will get lonely," Yuri explained.

Serena sighed, "Fine but you're paying this time."

The two of them went out and found the cafe that they both like going to. It was quiet and cozy and the people there are always friendly.

"Ah, Yuri and Serena! It's been a while, how are you?" A waiter walked up to them as they sat down and asked.

"Fine. Had better days but we're fine mostly," Serena explained.

"Still working at the retail store?" The waiter asked.

"Yep. The usual, right?" Yuri turned to look at Serena who nodded.

The waiter wrote something down on his notepad and walked off.

Serena stared at the window and saw the people walk by. So blissfully happy. She caught sight of her bracelet and sighed.

Yuri was tapping his fingers on the table. Even though they have been living together for a year, to start a conversation was always awkward. It was usually a sentence response.

"How was your day?"

"Fine."

"Anything new?"

"Not really."

Something like that and sometimes one of them would bring up a problem like if they're almost out of food.

Speaking of which...

"We need to go grocery shopping," Serena stated, tearing her eyes away from the window.

"Are we out of food already?" Yuri asked and she nodded.

"If someone didn't decide to take all of the food yesterday then maybe we could have some of it left," Serena rolled her eyes.

"As I told you, I'm trying a new skill. Cooking...I'm still not good at it," Yuri said.

Yuri has been trying new things when Serena wasn't home with him. Since he grew up at the Academia as a soldier for the Professor's plan, he didn't really had much time to do other things that weren't dueling.

Serena knows this so she backed off on scolding him about it. Her experience was similar to his.

It was at this moment that the waiter came back to their table with two cups of coffee and two slices of chocolate cake.

But just before he was about set it on the table, the glass shattered and an explosion came after, causing them to get down.

"What the-!" Serena cried and her eyes widen when she saw something unexpected.

A humanoid with blond hair, black witch clothes and holding onto a broom was grinning at her sadistically.

Next to her was another humanoid but it was more cat like and was wearing an orange kimono. She giggled and held up her paws to create a small fire ball.

Serena, realizing what was going to happen, threw herself on the waiter in order to protect him. She couldn't see Yuri though so it scared her.

She braved herself for the attack only for it to never come.

Serena looked up to see the two monsters being attacked by two other monsters. One was a green plant like snake with a poisonous flower top and another was a green dinosaur with a venus flytrap on its back.

She recognized those two monster, heck she recognized the archetype. It may be a stretch but...

"Yuri?" She asked.

Yuri popped in to her vision, some soot was on his face and he looked shaken up, but otherwise fine which was a relief for her. He had his D-Pad on his arm which is how he was able to summon the monsters.

Serena could feel the waiter stirring awake so she got off of him and helped him up.

"Go and get to safety," she told him. No need to tell him twice.

She turned back to see the witch and the neko being destroyed by Yuri's monsters but the weirdest thing is that after the neko was tied up by Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra and the witch being chomped by Predaplant Spinodionaea, the two monsters fizzled like they were holograms.

"What the-?" Serena asked before Yuri approached her and asked, "are you ok?"

"A little shaken up but fine, mostly," Serena told him and took a closer look outside.

The town was in chaos as multiple monsters were attacking buildings and people. This frustrated and angered the two of them.

"Those monsters are going to pay for disturbing this town," Yuri stated.

Serena looked through her pockets and when she couldn't find what she was looking for, she cursed.

"I left my D-Pad at home. I won't be able to summon monsters until then," Serena said.

"Then let's go!" Yuri took her hand and ran out of the cafe.

The town felt like a destructive Halloween due to the monsters.

Yuri's monsters had to cut down a skeleton in a robe with a scythe, a Frankenstein's monster, a ghoul that resembles more of a zombie, a purple haired fairy with yellow wings and a small pink haired humanoid that looked a bit like a porcelain doll.

After cutting down the doll, Yuri and Serena made it to their apartment.

They both ran inside to their floor and Serena went looking where she left her D-Pad while Yuri held back the monsters that decided to follow them.

"Come on! Come on! Where is it?!" Serena gritted her teeth together as she continued to look for it, tossing aside some items.

She was about to reach for the final box when she heard Yuri cry out in pain.

Serena grabbed the box firmly and looked through it and finally found it!

She placed it on and raced towards where Yuri was.

He was on the floor and holding onto his shoulder while a werewolf monster was standing over him with some blood on its claws.

Yuri was about to summon another monster when the werewolf brought down its claw but before it could hit Yuri, a purple, humanoid butterfly appeared and blocked the attack while a blue, humanoid cat did a flip over the monster and slashed at the back, destroying it.

Yuri looked back to see Serena standing there with her D-Pad.

"Come on, we can't stay in one place," Serena told him.

"Yeah," Yuri said and got up, still holding onto his shoulder.

"Do we need to patch your injury?" Serena asked but he shook his head.

"The wound isn't that deep, just caught me by surprise. Now...," Yuri looked at the front of their apartment, "how are we going to explain this to the insurance company?"

Serena sighed at this.

They ran out again and summoned up their monsters to take down the Ghostricks that were still invading the town.

One by one, the monsters were getting destroyed but Yuri and Serena were already getting tired.

"How much more do we have to go through?" Yuri asked.

"We can't stop now," Serena told him.

And then they heard two loud hums of a vehicle. A vehicle that they have only heard in one dimension.

"Let's do this, Speedroid Razorrang!"

"Freeze everything in your path, Windwitch- Glass Bell!"

"Take it down, The Phantom Knights of Fragile Armor!"

"You can do it, Lyrilusc- Turquoise Warbler!"

"Strike them down, Raidraptor- Napalm Dragonius!"

"Don't give up, Rose Witch!"

Multiple monsters came striking down to the remaining Ghostricks, making them disappear.

"Those voices...they seem familiar," Serena noted.

"They are familiar, look," Yuri pointed and the two of them saw two D-Wheels with very familiar faces on them.

"Serena!" Ruri and Rin's faces lit up as they saw their fusion counterpart.

"Ruri, Rin. And Yuto, Yugo and Shun. What are you doing here?" Serena asked.

"Mostly thanks to her," Yugo pointed to Aki.

She looks somewhat familiar, Serena thought and Yuri spoke up, "you wouldn't happen to use a plant based deck?"

"Yeah, I do," Aki told him.

Yuri merely hummed at this.

"So, we're going to be taking these two?" Yugo asked.

"Taking us? Taking us where?" Serena asked.

"Is this about the monsters that we just saw?" Yuri asked.

"Yes. All of the dimensions are in danger thanks to this threat. Not just your split dimensions but all of the other ones. When we get to the Standard Dimension, I promise I'll explain what I can," Aki stated.

Standard. That's Yuya and Yuzu's dimension. Things must be serious if all eight of us plus Ruri's brother are going to be involved, Yuri thought.

"Whoever they are, they messed with the wrong town. I'm in and you?" Serena turned to Yuri.

"Well it would be nice to get some vengeance for this town that treated us well...ok fine, I'm going with you," Yuri said and Serena gave him a soft smile.

"Ok but you're going to have to go on her D-Wheel because it's crowded on mine," Yugo stated.

"Yugo, be nice," Rin scolded him.

Serena and Yuri got on Aki's D-Wheel and her and Yugo revved up and drove off.

Aki's mark began to glow and the same crimson dragon came by and engulfed them to the final destination for now.

(In Miami City)

Well this was just great, Yuya thought as he summoned another monster to take down a humanoid monster wearing a violet dress and had magenta hair up in a ponytail.

It was supposed to be a normal day. Nothing too out of the ordinary except for one thing.

He was just about to head to Yuzu's house to take her on the date that they planned for a week when he suddenly got attacked by a humanoid spellcaster with black robes, black hat and silver hair.

It took him a while but he eventually figured out that he could summon his monsters to battle those rogue monsters.

Yuya jumped on a bench to get on top of a stone wall to get higher ground from the spellcasters.

I hope the others are alright, he thought as his monster destroyed the violet dress humanoid. When she got destroyed though, Yuya could see her fizzle away like a hologram.

"Huh-," he started but got cut off by a kid screaming. He turned around to see Tatsuya, a small kid with blue hair, running away from a humanoid monster with a purpleish witch hat and holding onto a hammer which she slammed onto the ground, just missing Tatsuya.

"Hold on! I'm on my way!" Yuya called out and summoned Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon.

His Ace roared and Yuya jumped on it. "Go!" He commanded and Odd Eyes raced over to the kid.

"Spiral Flame Strike!" Yuya shouted and a spiral of flames shot out of Odd Eye's mouth, destroying the monster.

"Big Bro Yuya!" Tatsuya said in relief.

Yuya jumped down and asked, "are you hurt? Do you need anything to patch up any injuries?"

"I'm fine, just shaken up. Where did those monsters come from?" Tatsuya asked.

"Beats me but something tells me that it's nothing good," Yuya replied.

"Oh right! I was with Futoshi and Ayu before the monsters came but we got separated," Tatsuya gasped.

"Then let's go!" Yuya said and they ran off.

Yuya kept summoned monsters to destroy the ones that were causing trouble and destruction.

Tatsuya forgot his D-Pad so he couldn't summon his monsters.

There were multiple duelists around who were also summoning monsters. Yuya is glad that he wasn't the only one who could do that.

Eventually...

"Futoshi! Ayu!" Tatsuya suddenly yelled.

The two kids were cornered by a couple of spellcasters who looked eager to attack them.

"Hold on!" Yuya called out to them but then...

"Elegy the Melodious Diva! Sing as loud as you can!" A new voice shouted.

A humanoid with green hair and purple clothes appeared and began to sing. Her singing destroyed the monsters.

"Big Sis Yuzu!" Futoshi and Ayu cheered.

"Yuzu!" Yuya greeted his girlfriend. She looked like she ran a marathon to get there.

"Everyone *pant pant* alright?" Yuzu asked.

"We're ok now that the two of you are here," Ayu stated.

"Ya! But what do we do now?" Futoshi asked.

"Dad is making the You Show Duel School into a refuge for now. Let's head over there," Yuzu explained.

"Ok," the kids said.

They all raced over there with Yuya and Yuzu summoning monsters whenever they appeared and tried to attack them.

Syuzo was outside while Sora and Gongenzaka were summoning monsters to guard them. His face lit up when he saw them running over.

"You made it! I'm so glad that you're ok!" He said.

"Yeah. Anyone hurt?" Yuya asked, concerned.

Sora shook his head.

"Minor scratches here and there but nothing bandages can't fix," he stated.

"Alright. Get inside now. We'll take things from here," Yuya turned to the three kids and they ran inside.

"Where did these monsters even come from?" Gongenzaka asked.

"Beats me but something tells them that it isn't good," Yuya replied and Yuzu nodded.

Her eyes then widen and she shouted, "Dad! Watch out!"

Syuzo turned around to see a humanoid with green robes and glasses appeared and rose her staff to attack him when he suddenly summoned a monster. That monster attacked the humanoid and destroyed her.

"Aha! No monster a match for my hot blooded dueling technique!" He cheered.

Yuzu sweat dropped but she felt glad that her dad was ok.

"Hey look over there!" Sora pointed to a corner and they all looked at it.

A small bright light that was getting bigger and bigger and in a red flash, two D-Wheels appeared with many familiar faces.

"Couldn't this ride be smoother?" Yuri complained.

"Dimension travel isn't going to be smooth, you should know this," Yuto pointed out.

"Well yeah but-," Yuri started before getting shushed by Serena.

"What are you guys doing here in the Standard Dimension?" Yuya asked after getting over his shock that his counterparts and Yuzu's counterparts were here. Also with her....? She seems different.

"There's a big danger in all of our dimensions but we don't have all the details," Rin explained and looked at Aki.

Aki took off her helmet and sighed, "I should tell you what I know."

"Spill," Shun crossed his arms.

"Now it's not going to be a full on invasion like how it was with your dimension but it's going to be just as bad. There's this group that want to destroy our dimensions, not just yours or mine but all of them. My team and I are gathering duelists from these dimensions in order to combat them. That's the reason why the duel monsters are popping up in your dimensions," Aki explained.

To say that they were shocked was an understatement.

They had a weird sense of Deja vu and wanted to disregard what Aki just said but they couldn't.

"But why is that the reason? When Obelisk Force invaded, no rouge duel monsters ever appeared. Why are they popping out now?" Ruri asked.

"I can't answer that now. But I do know someone who does but I just need you all to be in agreement that you'll help us fight this group," Aki said.

"I'm in. As I said before, someone needs to pay for disturbing the town and I'm sure my dear Serena thinks the same," Yuri said.

Serena blushed at this but she seemed to agree with what Yuri said.

"I'm not going to let another invasion happen again. You can count me in," Ruri told them.

"No one should mess with the dimensions like that. Not after what happened a year ago," Yuto said.

"This is a battle that we have to fight and we have to win!" Rin stated, determined.

"Looks like you're not going to convince to not come with you. Fine, I'm going," Shun said.

"Luck is on our side in this! I believe that we can defeat this group," Yugo said.

"And you?" Aki asked.

"...there's no one after us right?" Yuzu asked.

"That's correct. There's not someone like that Leo Akaba in this group," Aki replied.

"Well if that's the case...," Yuzu looked at Yuya before looking at her dad.

"Yuzu, after the dimensional war, there was nothing I wanted most than to have you back home safely. But I know that in your heart, you have an answer to what you want to do and what you need to do," Syuzo said.

"Well...I suppose I can't just sit around while dimensions are getting invaded. Ok, I'll join you," Yuzu stated.

Yuya was quiet as they all made their decisions. He was very hesitant in what he wanted to say.

"Yuya," a voice behind them said and he turned around.

"Dad," he said and Yusho Sakaki walked up to him.

"I overheard this conversation. Whatever you feel like doing, just remember that you're not alone in this. You have allies that are willing to fight for however dimensions are there. Remember, pendulum swings one away and it'll swing another," he told him.

"...thanks for the pep talk," Yuya said before turning back around.

"Ok, let's get this show on the road," he stated.

Both he and Yuzu joined Yuri and Serena on Aki's D-Wheel.

Both she and Yugo revved it up again and drove off.

But then...

"They're chasing us again!" Rin called out.

Two spellcasters were flying towards them and held up their staffs. They began to chant something before getting caught up in a swirl and out came a new humanoid spell caster with black tight clothes, a blue cape and granite hair.

She held up her staff and aimed a blast at them. It missed but barely.

"We're just starting to leave Standard and now they decided to strike!" Serena snapped.

"Hang on!" Yugo called out as another blast was shot at them. He managed to swerve out of the way.

Just as the spellcaster was about to shot another blast, Yuri could hear Aki say something in a low voice.

"Appear...Black Rose Dragon."

Suddenly, a large reddish dragon with petal wings appeared and deflected the blast with its black, thorny vines.

"Whoa," Ruri noted.

"Attack Black Rose Dragon! Hate Whip!" Aki shouted and the vines grew and thrash at the spellcaster. It later tossed her in the air, destroying her.

The moment the spellcaster was destroyed, Aki's mark began to glow and the same crimson dragon appeared and engulfed them up.

Yuto could see the shadows of two other D-Wheels that joined them together in the dragon.

Is that her team? He thought.

A/N: I was honestly not expecting the Arc-V chapter to take this long. Maybe 4000 words at least since I had to add so many characters but Jesus Christ our lord and savior, I was not expecting to have my longest written chapter ever to be this.

Hopefully the next one will be shorter.
