Favorite Holiday Movies

"What's your favorite movie?" Wally asked as he stirred a peppermint stick in his hot chocolate

"Depends on the genre, but to be honest, I haven't watched many movies," Damian answered as he poured some of the drink inside a mug

"Uhhhh, Christmas movie, obviously."

"Hmm, Nightmare Before Christmas."

"That's not a Christmas movie!" Molly called as she and Will stepped in from walking the dogs

"What do you mean? I remember when I was a kid watching it all the time on Christmas." Damian argued, "I mean it has Christmas in the damn title, how could it not be a Christmas movie?"

"Yeah, but it was released near Halloween which means it's not a Christmas movie," Molly added

Damian glanced up at Will, who looked like he was trying hard to not laugh. Damian took a sip from his drink and then put it on the counter, his fingers tapping at the edge. His mind was trying to grasp that he had been lied to his entire life.

"So then explain how Die Hard is considered a Christmas movie."

"'Cause it takes place on Christmas, and it's a big part of the story," Molly explained

"Yeah, and also in Nightmare Before Christmas. Besides Die Hard didn't even come out near Christmas!"

That's when the sound of laughter reached his ears. Damian turned his gaze to Will still trying to stifle his laughter but failing miserably instead almost doubling over from laughter.

"What?" Damian asked

"Nothing...nothing," Will chuckled as he wiped a stray tear from his eye. He stood there a few more seconds trying to catch his breath, before walking over to where Wally was sitting. The dogs circled the two, the faint scratches of claws on the wood. It was comforting, and Damian enjoyed the feeling.

Damian looked over at Molly and held out his hand, "Agree to disagree?"

"Agree to disagree." She shook his hand
