She left me at birth

She left and saved me

Now she grows her wings and watches from above

I took care of him a lot

He got sick one night

The night he left

He's watching me from six weeks ago

With his wings smiling at me

I call her mommy

We used to bicker and fight

But we loved each other

Her funeral was today and as the youngest I fell out

I screamed and begged her not to go

She grew her wings early

At the age of 57

Never leaving me now

But for right now she looks at me from above

Giving me comfort

I know many by name

Two were six weeks apart

One was my twin sister

They look down at us with love

It gives us comfort to know they're there

It makes me feel calm
