I know that college is going to be tiring,

I know that college is going to be a lot more work,

I know that college is going to take effort,

And I know college will give me a lot of stress.

I went to the college of dreams yesterday.

It was very fun and educational.

It was a small school,

Located in my home state so I could go.

There are other schools

That I have visited and may want to go.

It's that school I visited yesterday

That's best for my dream.

Back to the other part,

For the rest of the poem.

About how being lazy and tired

And how it can be a huge problem.

I'm tired right now.

If you couldn't tell,

By the comments I've left in books

Where my stories being told.

I don't get much sleep

Doing college work.

But I know it's how it's gonna be

In my future.

For my dreams to become a reality,

I need to be tired,

I need to be stressed,

And I need to get used to it.

I know this poem

But I hope you learned something,

That college is a slap in the face
