Chapter Four

  I am starting to wonder that my parents only sent me here for one reason. And that is for me to take a fresh start, get away from the fame and see what the world was like away from the fame. Yeah I admit that fame gets to you. You feel like they are invading your privacy and they get everything in your life. The tabloids will mix up words you will say and say something a totally different. Sometimes they would make you sound like a complete ass. And that is what I hate about fame. Everyone is always watching you and invading your privacy. They just don't know when to stop.

Some people wish that they were famous, but to be honest, it's not all that. At first it is. But then after, you are like dying to have a normal life again. I guess you can say that staying here is a fresh start. A time to have that normal life. It's been a month and I am honestly happy that my parents sent me here. I am in love with it here. Swim has been going great. We won our first meet. Of course that was because of me. Then my whole group of friends have gotten extremely close. Ash thinks I am replacing her. But I could never. She will always be my bestie.

Austin, the dean's son, has been on my ass ever since we met. Tonight, he is taking me to meet his parents. Rayna and Maddie tried to get me to not to go. But I didn't want to be rude. I think Austin wants to make it official between us. But I don't want that. Because I don't want to be with him. Yeah he is a great guy. I think I am actually changing him because everyone keeps saying 'Austin is way different since you two met.' I had to agree with that. I think I am changing him into a good boy.

I am honestly afraid to meet the dean of the school. I mean I heard good things about him and also heard bad things about him. Like how he is a total ass. Also very frightening. But hey, I don't scare easily. But back to the topic about swimming. I have been practicing extremely late for the past two weeks. Coach says I am getting really good. Sometimes he is there to watch me practice. It freaks me out but hey, I don't mind a hot hunk watching me swim. Does not bother me any.

My phone ringed and I slid it out of my pocket. It was Austin.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey, I will be at your dorm in a few minutes. So be ready." He said and hung up. Well that was demanding. I chuckled and made sure I was completely ready for the dinner. I dressed in nice expensive jeans, a polo shirt and a tee underneath. I actually look pretty hot if you ask me.

I took a picture of myself in the mirror and posted it on Instagram. My Instagram has 950k followers. I guess you can say I am a little famous.

There was a knock on my door and I ran to the door. I told Damian he should be gone when Austin showed up because they don't like each other. And I do mean they do not like each other. They tried to get in a fist fight in front of me. I had to get in the middle of it. In the process, I was punched in the face. By Damian that is. It actually hurt pretty badly. I had a black eye for a week.

I looked at Austin and he actually looked beautiful. I know beautiful is not the right term to use for guys, but I am just stating how he looks. We smiled at each other and I leaned up and place a soft peck on his lips.

"Ready?" He asked. I nodded and we walked out of my dorm, hand in hand.

We walked down the sidewalk and headed for the teacher, and staff housing. There houses were pretty big. Some of the staff had smaller house according to their family size.

"Are you nervous? Your hands are extremely sweaty." Austin asked.

I looked up at him and nodded. "Very."

He chuckled and pulled me closer to him. He kissed the top of my head and told me it was going to be okay and that he would be there the whole time to comfort me. Told he was changing!

We walked up to this house. And I gasped of how big it was. Austin chuckled and walked us up to the house. The house had a wraparound drive way with a fountain in the middle, veins going up the house with a big window and door. It's like some big old mansion.

We walked into the house and Austin called out, "Mom, dad! We are here!" He shouted. He whispered into my ear, "Take off your shoes, they hate when people walk in here with shoes on." I nodded and slipped off my vans. I slid them to the side and here came a dog charging at me. Holy shit this was a big dog. He jumped up and he started licking my face. I started chuckling. This dog was taller than me when he stood up.

"Brutus! Down boy!" A ladies voice shouted. The dog jumped down and ran over to the lady. I guess that was his mom. She gave Austin a kiss on the cheek and turned to look at me.

"You must be Eric. Austin talks a lot about you." She smiled and kissed me on the cheek as well. I smiled and a man came walking from the kitchen.

And there is the dean of the school....

"Eric. Nice to meet you." He put out his hand to shake mine.

"Hi Mr. Deller." I smiled and shook his hand.

"Firm grip you got there." He chuckled and gestured me and Austin into the dining room.

We sat down at the table and started to eat some kind of casserole that his mother cooked up.

"So Eric, what does your parents do?" The dean asked. I wiped my mouth with the napkin before I spoke.

"My parents own a huge modeling agency in NYC sir. They also have one in, L.A., Miami, Chicago, Paris, Milan and London." I informed. The dean and the mom looked at each other and nodded.

"It sounds like they are extremely busy and make well money." His mom pointed out.

"Yes ma'am." I smiled.

We continued to eat dinner and talked about everything about each other. I thought it was going to be awkward but Austin has really nice parents. I wish they were mine to be honest.

It was getting pretty late and Austin walked me back to my dorm.

"Why don't you live with your parents?" I asked as we was walking back.

I looked up and he shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. I used to until two years ago. I just felt like I was trapped. You know considering I am the dean's son. I had so many rules to live by. I barley had any room to breathe. So I just moved into my friend's dorm." He said. I nodded. That is why he lives in the same dorm building I lived in.

We was walking towards our dorm when he pushed me over to a dark area. We stood under a tree and only the moonlight was glaring towards us. I chuckled as his lips crashed with mine. I moaned and wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped his right arm around the arch of my back and pulled our bodies closer. His left hand was cupped on my cheek.

He pulled away, trying to catch our breaths.

"Will you be my boyfriend?" He asked. I froze. Maybe I can learn to fall in love with him. I know that I can't have Damian considering he is the straightest guy I have ever seen. Maybe this is the way I could get my mind off of him. Austin makes my stomach go crazy and my heart flutter. So who knows, maybe I can fall in love with him.

I looked up into his eyes and seen that he was nervous and afraid. I never seen him afraid. A smile escaped my lips and I nodded.

"Of course." I responded. His eyes widen.

"Did you just say yes?" He asked. I nodded again. He smiled the biggest I have ever seen from him. For the first time it wasn't a fake smile. It was a real smile. He picked me up so I could reach him. Considering he is a little taller than me. He crashed his lips onto mine. I giggled the whole time. He smiled and put me back down.

We walked to my door of my dorm and I kissed him goodnight. When I walked in I seen Damian sitting on the couch. He was chuckling.

"What?" I raised an eyebrow.

"I heard you moan outside the door again." He laughed. I rolled my eyes and walked over to my closet.

"So how did the dinner go dude?" He asked. I slipped off my shirt and turned my head back. "It went well. I thought it was going to be terrible. But the dean is actually a nice guy."

I changed into some sweats and walked over to sit next to him on the couch.

"I thought the dean would murder you or something." Damian said while laughing. I slapped his arm playfully.

"Austin asked me to be his boyfriend...." I informed. He stopped laughing. I knew that would shut him up.

He looked over at me and I could see that he was completely angry at the moment.

"I thought you didn't like him?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders and said, "I thought that too. But he isn't that bad of a guy. He makes me happy so why not."

Austin gave me the death stare after I said that. For real bro? "Will you try to get along with him? For me?" I asked and gave him my pouty eyes that no one can turn down.

He was silent for a few minutes, and we stared into each other's eyes the whole time. He sighed and grunted. "Fine. I guess I can. Only because you are a really good friend of mine." He pointed at me. I smiled and wrapped my arms around him.

"Thank you!" I shouted in relief. Electricity filled my body as I touched him. See what I mean? I need to stop touching him.....

He laughed and wrapped his arm around my waist to hug me back. There was a knock on the door.

"Probably Austin." I winked at Damian. He rolled his eyes in annoyance. I opened the door and there stood Rayna. I smiled and she jumped into my arms.

"Hey bitch!" I shouted. She started giggling and wrapped her arms around my neck. I carried her like a baby and through her over on Damian.

"Well hello there gorgeous." Damian winked seductively at Rayna. It made both of us laugh when Rayna slapped his face and jumped up.

"Down boy." She pointed at him. I started laughing harder. I sat down at the left end of the couch and laid my head on Damian's lap. He always lets me do this since I told him that he had a comfortable leg. He tried to push me off once, but I punched him in the stomach so he just gave up whenever I lay my head on him. Hell, he even plays with my hair sometimes.

Rayna walked over and lifted my legs up so she could sit down. I laid my legs down on her lap.

"So how did the date with the family go?" Rayna asked. I sighed.

"Not that bad actually." I smiled. She was staring at me and then looked up at Damian.

"Austin asked Eric to be his boyfriend." Damian informed. I slapped his face for telling her. Her eyes widen and she slapped my legs.

"You fucker! Why?!" She shouted. Damian started laughing and so did I.

I shrugged my shoulders. "He is not that bad of a guy actually. I turned him into a good boy." I said and flipped my imaginary hair. Damian continued to laugh.

"I hate both of you at the moment. I am going to smoke some weed. So goodbye." She said and walked out of the room.

That is how Rayna ignores her problems. She just smokes them away and eats like crazy. I don't see how she doesn't gain any weight. She eats tons when she is high. But she is a skinny hoe! I wish I could eat a lot and not gain. Psh, I wish for a lot of things actually.

I set my alarm clock for tomorrow morning and laid down to go to sleep. I am so exhausted from all this practicing. But at the end it is going to be so worth it...
