Chapter Two
Spinners POV
The water was warm, and peaceful. Nothing was going to stop them! Or so Spinner thought. He jumped out of the water, making a delightful splash.
Getting excited, he jumped again. Oh, the thrill letting the water consume you. As if you're one with the water.
This has been a daily practice for Spinner. That is, until it was time to hunt, or worse, enemies. Luckily, it was only once that that had happened. But it was a mishap. One of the older calf's were acting foolishly, and accidentally disturbed Pablo, a small Blue Shark.
The adults teased that he is too small for his age. I mean true, he is rather small, but to Spinner and his friends, he has acted like a grandfather. (Not really, but he did teach them to flee from danger, especially sharks.:) ) Pablo has also told them many stories. About the floating objects above, dangers-like humans, and Spinners favorite: The Great White.
Speaking of danger, Spinner's mother held a melodic click, signaling spinner to stay close to her. It was about noon day, and one of the elders told everyone that there was a very strong storm up ahead.
Obediently, Spinner swam along beside her. Since he wasn't yet old enough to swim alone, he had to swim somewhere in the middle of their pod. Being the energetic one, that never bothered him. He made friends easily, even with Lonnie the grumpy old octopus. Spinner making friends, never bothered his mother, as long as he was always in her sight.
Spinner bumped into his older brother. They both exchanged exhilarated clicks and noise of excitement. Unlike Spinner, Kam was more calmer, and enjoyed to stay closer to the adults. But getting to know Spinner, it was easy to get in trouble, as again, one of the elders clicked long and hard, making them be quiet.
---
The dolphins swam in peace, no body said much. Gina, one of the elders, kept making up her own songs, while Kergy, Spinner's half sister moaned about being hungry. Other than that, with an occasional click here and there from Arrow, Spinner's father, pointing them in the direction they needed to go.
An hour later, Spinner's mother nudged him, looking up, he realized it was feeding time. And just in time, he saw a bunch of fish swim past them. The chase was on.

Hey guys! I know this wasn't a very great Chapter. And I agree, it is rather fictional. (And it was short.) I thought that it would be a great Idea to include the dolphin brief POV in some parts of the story, if you don't like, pls tell me :) thank you!!
