-Chapter 2 Start-

Izuku then went back to the tavern where he was greeted by Ochako

Ochako: Hey! Welcome back it's good to see you again

Izuku: same here Take a seat phew it's exhausting so what's today's special?

Ochako: Today's special is a special boar roast since a random boar tried to attack and I caught it.

Izuku: great! I will have one

Ochako: I knew you'd try it, you try every special we get so set a plate down for him here you go, I hope you like it.

Izuku: Woah! 'this looks better than what was served at home'

Ochako: The boar is known to be sour so I baked it in honey whispers and coated it in a bit of wine from my parents' cellar, so this is a secret.

Izuku: Incredible so 'close'

Ochako: Back up so got any stories for me today?

Izuku: Well, I faced some goblins and a hobgoblin, and even saw their nest.

Ochako: You saw a goblin nest! Was it cool? was it scary?

Izuku: It was cool but I didn't enter it.

Ochako: Oh I see, well, what did you do then?

Izuku: I reported to the guild then a catgirl tried to go out with me.

Ochako: A cat girl you say? Well isn't that something but what is the guild planning on doing cracked the counter a bit

Izuku: why do I feel some bloodlust Y-yeah she was the sister of one of the guild receptionists and was told off.

Ochako: eases on the counter good she shouldn't be flirting with some random stranger- Uh not that you're a random stranger well you are but I mean I at least know something about you I mean-

Okanae: Sweetie we have some orders for tables 4-6.

Ochako: ON THE WAY quickly rushes off with a red face of embarrassment

Caliburn:'it seems like she is becoming smitten with you

Caliburn:'young squire do you not see the signs she likes hearing your tales, she goes out of her way to help whether with a meal or foraging for certain things, and she especially makes you meals that make you far more joyful than the meals in the kingdom'

Izuku: 'Yeah I guess well that's her being nice'

Caliburn:'this is why you are denser than minotaur's hide!'

Izuku: "huh?"

Caliburn:'you think the young lass doesn't like you? Did you not see her face!'

Izuku: "What about it?"

Caliburn:'that is a sign she likes you- on second thoughts let me ask you this why do you associate with her and like it when she joins you on small searches'

Izuku; "hmm she makes me feel warm for some reason and I like it"

Caliburn:... Floats out of the sheath and bonks him on the head before sheathing himself back 'Foolish squire I'm going into rest'

Izuku: "What was that for?"

He gained nothing but silence from his weapon, leaving him curious as to what he meant, but he ate his meal nonetheless as the guild took care of the goblin nest calling in two A-rank Parties.

The next week, Ochako keeps thinking about what happened on the day Izuku mentioned a girl asking him out. This was noticed by her mother

Okanae: are you alright, my little star?

Ochako; KYAA! breaks a plate

Okanae: Your strength isn't under control meaning something is going on.

Ochako: What?! No, nothing is going on, everything is under control

Okanae: Dear you are lying to me I can tell, and your strength is an easy giveaway, come on now tell me what's wrong.

Ochako: sigh its this boy

Okanae: Is my baby girl finally at that stage where she likes boys!? claps her hands excitedly oh how adorable!!

Ochako: Mom! Shh, he might be here.

Okanae: I'm sorry, it's just I've been waiting for this moment now tell me when did this happen.

Okanae: Oh dear don't be so embarrassed it's very sweet he leaves such kind comments about your cooking, as for obviousness it was a bit but luckily I didn't show your father.

Ishii; Show me what?

Ochako: KYAH! jumps into her mother's arms

Okanae: Oh nothing honey just talking to our baby girl about something.

Ishii: What is it?

Okanae: Just some ingredients for a new recipe that I'd like to make I was going to ask her if she could get an adventurer to join her for this journey.

Ochako: Eh!? But ma-

Okanae: puts a finger on her lips shh

Ishii: Hmm okay then, Oh! get Izuku to do it he is amazing at delivering commissions.

Okanae: Why I agree perfectly with you honey, that boy is a great help don't you think so, my star?

Ochako: turns red y-yeah

Ishii: Okay, I'm going to list the ingredients.

Okanae: Thank you sets Ochako down now once you're ready to go and get Izuku for help winks

Ochako: embarrassed even more 'Ugh parents are the worst!'

Meanwhile in the castle:

The knights are seen kneeling before their prince

Percival: yes your majesty.

Atori: have you found Caliburn and my brother?

Gawain: No, we have not sir.

Lancelot: Our search has led us far and yet we still cannot find him or the sword.

Atori: Useless.

Percival: Forgive us sire, we are doing our very hardest so we may find him and the sword.

Gawain: mumbles it doesn't help that his teachers also went elsewhere

Atori: WHAT!!?? SIR VI AND ECHO LEFT!

Percival: hits Gawain over the head good job Gawain, you and that big mouth of yours!

Gawain: Ow I'm sorry!

Lancelot: they have indeed left as well and they didn't tell of their motive or where they're heading.

Inko: Good knights go search for my son the rightful successor to the throne

Knights: yes Lady Inko, right away.

Inko; as for you Atori, handle the affairs of the kingdom with wisdom, not fear.

Atori: yes Mother, I'll get to it right away

Atori: ... [He dreamed of being above his brother but every time he thought he gained new strength his brother was 2 steps ahead of him he lost friends, he lost the knights who said they would help him, and even love interests due to the admiration Izuku had]

Young Atori: Mother, father, look I can use energy to form a small dagger-

Hisashi: Magnificent Izuku magnificent indeed!

Izuku: thank you, Father formed a sword using aura

Hisashi: and only in 3 weeks as well.

Inko: oh my baby will be a fine king.

Atori: b-but I took 2 months to master this...

[That was but one time he was shadowed by his brother the second was in proving skills in how they approach making peace]

But his thoughts were silenced by the cheers and Izuku being carried by knights and citizens alike

Atori: wait, what's going on?

Knight: oh Prince Atori, didn't you hear the news?

Knight: He made peace with the Beastmen's kingdom.

Atori: What!!??

Civilian: GREAT PRINCE IZUKU!

C2: OUR GREAT FUTURE KING!

Atori: But...I made peace with the fairies...

Knight: and the elves as well which also means peace with the fairies as well.

Atori: ...

[Once again his hard work was taken]

Inko: Atori?

Atori tore the contract he had in his hands and threw it on the ground walking away

[The boy now 16, had flowers in his hands and was working up his courage to ask out a lady he had fallen for but when he arrived to talk to her he was soon heartbroken at the sight he saw]

Ella: holding Izuku's hand please sir Izuku, I have been smitten by your ways and your charm if you say I'd like to be yours forever.

[When he saw this he ran away in tears not knowing the full story that Izuku rejected Ella.]

[To him this was a loss too great and soon he began to hate his brother barely speaking, showing love, or even wanting to be in the same room as him and he carried this resentment for his life unto this point.]

[He then meets a mysterious figure, saying she can give him the power he desires and all the things his brother ever had]

[For that deal he accepted it without any hesitation he hated his brother and lost sight of what he truly wanted]

Atori: ... Hand heals instantly as a dark purple hue glows from his eyes I will become the better ruler alone.
