Kiro's POV

Well, it hasn't been so bad in here. There have been a lot of deaths since yesterday. I'm not saying how though. It always brings me down.

Anyways, I was wandering through town, when a female voice said

"No! I don't want to team up with you! Now p*** off!" The girl that yelled began stomping her way towards me. She had blonde hair and green eyes. Hmm... do video games like this attract every attractive girl around the world or what?

"Hey." I greeted.

She didn't respond, and looked at me.

"What do you want?" She asked, pouting.

"The name's Kiro. Yours?" I reached my hand towards her.

"It's Natsu." She shook my hand.

"Man, I can't believe that Kayaba did this to us. I mean, what would he gain from this?" I said, a little angry.

"I know what you mean." She replied.

"You know, you remind me of another blonde such as yourself." I said, examining her.

She stayed silent.

I scratched my head. Man, this is awkward. "So, who were this people who were bugging you? Friends? Enemies?"

"Pests. They keep asking me to join up with them, but like I told Takeshi, I told them no." She then looked at a group near a tree. There were three. One girl, and one guy.

"You want me to talk to them?" I asked.

"I doubt that they would listen to words. But if you can, I'd really appreciate it." She turned around.

I headed towards the group.

Once there, I crossed my arms, and said "You shouldn't bother Natsu."

The girl stepped up, and the two guys followed. She must be the leader.

"Oh yeah, and what are you gonna do about it?" I pointed at her face.

"I challenge you to a PvP match! Right here, right now! You and me." A few people heard, and I could hear murmurs amongst them.

"You sure about this, Boss?" One of the guys asked.

"Yeah. This guy looks tough." The other one said.

"Don't worry." She cracked her knuckles. "I can take him." She pulled out a two handed claymore, and pointed it at me.

"What's the catch?" She asked.

I grinned. "You lose, you leave Natsu alone, and..."

"And?"

"I get your sword." I said pointing at it.

"If I win, you join us, and do whatever I say." She said. I walked up to her.

I shook her hand, and said "Deal."

After I did that, the people backed away, and gave us an area to fight in.

"And this is to the death!" She shouted.

I growled. She didn't.....

Then, a force field appeared around us, and blocked the people.

"I guess this is it." I said, and drew my sword. I looked her way, and dashed towards her.

"HYAA!" She yelled, and swung downwards. I dodged, and slashed her back.

"AAAGH!!" She grunted, and swung in a circle. I ducked, and slashed her leg.

"Damnit!" She punched the ground. She shoved me, and tried to lunge at me.

Her blade nearly went through me, but luckily, her aiming sucks.

He blade rested near the left side, under my arm.

While my blade, punctured through her chest.

A tear escaped my eye, and I said

"I'm sorry."

She coughed, and replied. "I deserved it." And she disappeared. Her claymore landed with a loud CLANG!

I fell down to my knees, and began sobbing.

Why did she do that? Why to the death? Why? WHY?!?

I gripped my head, as more tears escaped my eyes.

"He... he killed her...."

"That was harsh."

"She was a b****, anyway."

I stood up, and shouted "She may have been a b****, but she didn't deserve to die! Unlike a few of you, I treasure life! Do you understand?" A few people backed away.

I picked up the claymore, and headed back towards Natsu.

I took a few steps, and saw her wide-eyed, with her hands covering her mouth.

"You....you..k-killed her...." I handed her the claymore, and said "That's all that's left of her. It's yours now."

I then walked towards the forest area.
