Kiro's POV

So this is SOA, huh? This is incredible!

I took a look around, and examined the landscape. Right now, I'm in the main area of the village, and there's a lot of people here.

A window appeared, and showed my face in it. Hmm...

I changed the features, and stayed true to my appearance. I saved the changes.

I opened up another window, and examined it. Stats? I clicked it.

Skill points: 5

Hmm.. My skills aren't bad, and they aren't good either. Hey, I could add a few points to my stats now!

I added a single point to each of the attributes, and saved my changes.

After that, I felt my muscles bulge a little, and my mind felt a little clearer. I also felt a little light on my feet.

I checked my window, and clicked 'Inventory.'

Weapon: Iron Longsword

Torso: Studded armour

Legs: Studded leggings

Arms: Studded gauntlets

Feet: Studded greaves

Accessories: None

Golls: 500

I guess like any other MMORPG, I'll be starting off weak, and make my way up. I'll have to find or buy better gear.

After that, the window closed.

I began walking to the bazaar. Might as well, since this is only the beta version.

After walking in, I decided to look around for a shield. I'll need it after all.

While I was looking around, I noticed a young, blonde-haired girl looking around as well. She's actually kind of cute. Even though I've never met her before. I walked up to her, and greeted her. "Hey, the name's Kiro. What's yours?" I shook her hand, and kissed it. She giggled, and said "Such a gentleman! My name's Asuna. Nice to meet you.

I looked at her, and said "Nice to meet you, too. So you're a beta tester too, huh?" I asked, curiously.

"Yeah. I wanted to see how this game is. It's better than I thought!" She beamed, happily.

"This is actually my first time playing a MMORPG." I stated.

"Whaaaaa?!" She exclaimed, while waving her arms around.

"You've never played these games before?! How could you not!? They're so fun!" She then took my hand, and lead me outside.

"Come here." She then opened a window, and clicked the word 'Tutorial.'

A window popped up, and said "Would you or a friend like to play the tutorial?" She then clicked 'a friend.'

"There you go. Now you'll learn how to play. Have fun." She waved, as a white square appeared around me.

"Welcome to the tutorial." A woman's monotone voice echoed, throughout the square.

"I will teach you all about the world of SAO, and how to play."

"All right." I said, nodding.

Asuna's POV

Kiro shouldn't have a problem with the tutorial. After all, the tutorial's the easiest part of the game.

I decided to wait for him to finish, since I'm the one who showed him the tutorial.

Kiro's POV

"Excellent. You are now ready to play SAO. Congratulations." She said.

"All right!" I punched the air. After that, the walls shrunk down towards the ground, and disappeared.

"How was it?" Asuna asked, giving me a closed eye smile.

I smiled, and drew my blade.

"Why don't we fight and see how I did?"
