POV Mabel
Dippin Dots hasn't been outside since everything happened. He sits in the front yard and stares at the woods. I hope this isn't because of our conversation two days ago.
Stan and I are getting REALLY worried. I mean I don't think he's eaten anything too or he has and we haven't seen him eating. I have noticed fewer fruits in the bowl so maybe he's just being healthy.
Waddles hasn't left Dipper's side since the conversation, and he's been looking at the woods too. I'm wondering if something is happening that I don't know about. I hope it isn't anything dangerous.
Them staring at the woods all morning and afternoon is becoming concerning. The book isn't giving me important information about what this could be.
Dipper wasn't outside which I'm glad for. He's been watching TV with me the whole time. I hope that little phase is out of his system because it was getting concerning.
"Do you think ghost turtle is based on an actual turtle?" Dipper muttered, "Would that mean that someone saw a paranormal turtle, or was it just a ghost on a sheet."
"Why are you thinking about this?" I asked him.
"I mean... we're in this town that is filled with magical stuff," Dipper said.
"We haven't even seen a ghost yet," I told him.
"What about the ghost babies with legs?" Dipper asked.
"I don't think those count," I mumbled, "They aren't really ghost but they look like a cartoon ghost."
"But they can still disappear and stuff," Dipper muttered.
"Do ghost count as monsters?" I questioned out loud.
"I feel like they should," Dipper told me.
"Dipper, Mabel!" Grunkle Stan yelled, "I need you two to take out the trash and see if Waddles went through the trash! I have a feeling that he did!"
"Okay!" We both yelled.
We both got up and went to collect the trash bags that were near the door. Dipper grabbed an extra trash bag just in case Waddles actually did go through the trash.
"I hope Waddles didn't make a mess," Dipper sighed, "I really don't feel like picking any trash up."
"You know he probably did," I told him.
We both walk near the trash can and we see the trash cans tipped over. Surprisingly, none of the trash bags were torn. Well, except for one which isn't that bad.
We both picked up the trash and placed it inside a bag. While we were finishing up we started to hear rustling and footsteps.
"Mabel, Dipper!" Pacifica shouted.
"Hey?" Dipper questioned.
"Hey!" I smiled.
Gideon followed her, "Can I ask you for a small favor?"
"What's up?" I asked her.
"Small is feeling sad because I accidentally squashed this flower he found," Pacifica showed us a photo, "He is refusing to make eye contact with me."
"Hisss!" Sammy flew to Dipper and sat around his neck instead of hers, "Ssss."
"He's still upset," Dipper muttered, "I understand the frustration."
"We were kinda hoping that you could help me find it," Pacifica asked, "The flower. Gideon was not too much help."
"I tried," Gideon pouted.
"You have a photo of the flower?" Dipper asked while petting Sammy.
"Here," Pacifica showed us a photo.
"I've seen that before," Dipper said, "It's pretty far."
"Really?" Pacifica asked.
"Yeah," Dipper nodded.
"I tried to find it but I have no idea where it is and I really couldn't talk to Sammy," Pacifica said.
"I'll tell Stan that we're helping you," I raced inside and told him.
He told us to be safe and to be back before it get super dark. We all started to walk in a certain direction. Dipper and Sammy were having a conversation.
"Did Sammy get the flower or did he just find it?" I asked Pacifica.
"She thinks that he sneak off in the middle of the night to get the flower," Gideon answered.
"He's been acting weird lately too," Pacifica muttered.
"Two days ago he started to stare out the window and just sat there," Pacifica explained, "I opened the window thinking he wanted to fly around outside but it wasn't that."
"That's odd," I mumbled.
"How long is this walk going to take?" Gideon asked.
"The whole day," Dipper answered.
"What!?" I didn't know what part.
"It takes like three hours to get there and three hours to come back," He answered, "That's only if we don't run into any problems."
"There has to be a faster way," Pacifica muttered.
"Tell me when you can think of it," Dipper said.
"Ssss...."
"No," Dipper said, "I'm not doing that."
"Ssss,"
"Sammy, what are you going to do I?" Dipper asked.
"Sss,"
"Exactly," Dipper said, "What makes you think I can do that?"
"Ssss,"
"Ugh! I only did that once and I was emotional," Dipper sighed, "I also don't know how to do that... willingly."
"What are you two talking about?" I asked.
"I don't know how to teleport yet," Dipper mumbled, "If I did it would have been easier."
I knew that wasn't what he was talking about. I could tell that he wasn't being honest. He's going to tell me what was the actual conversation later.
"There has to be a faster way," Pacifica said.
"Dippin' Dots?" I muttered, "Can you ask a monster for help?"
"Um..."
Dipper stood there awkwardly. I realized that Dipper doesn't know how to contact monsters. Every time he has it's been emotional.
"That might be a stretch," I sighed, "We haven't figured out how to do that."
"I can try," Dipper mumbled.
"He can control them?" Gideon questioned.
"Not exactly," He mumbled, "I can ask for help and things like that."
Dipper took a deep breath and stood still. We all looked at him and waited for something to happen. After a few seconds, his eyes turned a soft blue and he mumbled a few words. I have no clue what he said. He closed his eyes and then looked around.
"I guess we're walking," Gideon said.
"Give them a second," Dipper said.
"It worked!" I cheered.
"I'm confused still," Pacifica said.
Suddenly the ground shook and two mole-like creatures popped out of the ground. They were cute in an ugly way if that makes any sense.
"Aren't you all so cute," Dipper smiled.
"Why do they look like that?" Gideon said.
I saw from the corner of my eye Pacifica elbow him, "Ow."
"Do you mind taking us somewhere?" Dipper asked them.
They nodded and laid on their bellies so we can hop on. I wanted to ride with Pacifica but I know Dipper still isn't on good terms with Gideon.
"You can ride with her if you want," Dipper whispered to me.
"Really?" I mumbled.
"Of course," Dipper smiled, "I can handle myself for a bit with him."
"Mabel and I have to be in the front," Dipper told them, "So, Pacifica with Mabel."
Pacifica didn't argue and hopped on with me. I felt her wrap her arms around me. I feel like my face is red.
Sammy told Dipper where to go. It didn't take that long before we got there. We all hopped off and Dipper whispered to them before they went back I got the hold.
"They don't like the light so they'll stay down there until we finish," Dipper explained.
"Ssss,"
Sammy flew over to a small bush and sat on top of it. Pacifica went over and picked the flower that was right next to him.
"We got it!" Pacifica smiled.
The ground started to shake and we all looked at each other.
"Dipper, do you think the flower had something to do with that?" I asked him.
"Maybe," Dipper said.
"Oh come on!" Pacifica shouted.
"Guys...." Gideon opened at the large plant monster.
Sammy quickly flew to Pacifica. I grabbed Dipper's hand and raced away. We both don't know if he can talk to monster plants. We all raced in the opposite direction.
"This always happens to us," Gideon groaned.
"Other there!" Pacifica shouted.
I suddenly couldn't feel Dipper's hand anymore. I stopped running and looked behind me. I see Dipper banging his hand in the air. Then I realized that it was the bubble that kept everything magic inside.
H-He can't leave...
Dipper can't leave anymore...
I freeze as I see the monster come closer to Dipper. Its jaw opens wide and starts to come closer to him.
"No!" I shout as I race towards him.
"Mabel no!" Pacifica shouted followings me.
I suddenly feel something in my hand. I felt a sword and shield in the palm of my hands.
"Get away from him!" I shouted.
I see dust go in Dipper's face. Before he went unconscious I saw his eyes turn a soft blue before falling onto the floor. I see random marks appear on his skin as he laid there.
"Go away!" I started to swing my sword, "I said get away!"
The monster looked at me before making a random sound and leaving. I drop my sword and shield and went over to him.
"Why didn't he follow us?" Gideon said.
"How did you make that stuff?" Pacifica asked.
"Come on baby bro," I started to pull him to where we were.
I started to cry as I pulled him but he wasn't leaving the bubble. H-He can't be stuck here. We still have things to do together.
"Come on, Mason," I started to laugh, "Y-You can't be stuck in here."
"Mabel?" I heard her say.
"Stop fucking around!" I shouted, "You have to leave."
I feel Pacifica grab me and pulled me up away from Dipper.
"You have to stop whatever your doing," Pacifica told me.
"I-I can't!" I shouted.
"Mabel," Gideon said.
"Ssss!"
Third Person
They all turned around and saw the tall lanky creature that fathered the ghost babies. Gideon was about to take something out until Mabel said hello.
"What are you doing here?" Mabel asked.
"You have proven yourself," He told her, "You and the stone are now more connected. You have proven your loyalty."
"What?" Mabel questioned.
"You know," He said.
"Is Dipper going to be okay?" Mabel asked him.
"Yes, he will be okay," He told her.
"Why do some of them try to hurt him?" Mabel asked him.
"They are starting to become impatient... you all have such little time." The monster told him, "We need them to hurry before it is too late."
The creature shortly left. Before he did he left a few symbols on the ground. Pacifica made sure that Dipper was still breathing. Mabel stared at the markings and then looked at the stone.
Pacifica picked up Dipper and looked at his marks. They were nothing like she's ever seen before and they were almost hypnotizing.
Pacifica's eyes widen, "Sammy... cover his arm."
Sammy did what he was told and wrapped himself around his arm. Gideon was wondering where the sword and shield went. They disappeared out of nowhere to him.
"What are we going to do?" Gideon asked.
"I think I can get us home," Mabel took off her necklace.
Mabel traced the symbol and a small portal opened. They saw the living room and the TV. Gideon's eyes widen in surprise when he saw Mabel do that.
"Let's go," Mabel said while whipping her face.
They all walked through and it closed when the last person walked through. Stan was just standing there confused until he saw Pacifica carrying Dipper.
"What happened?" Stan quickly asked.
"A lot," Gideon said.
Pacifica went to go place Dipper in Mabel's room.
"This monster plant attack us and then this other monster talked to Mabel," Gideon said, "It put him to sleep I think."
"Sweetie," Stan walked over to Mabel, "You don't look okay."
Pacifica came back and saw the look on Mabel's face. She wanted to cry but she couldn't.
"D-Dipper can't leave Gravity falls," Mabel mustered out.
"What?" Stan questioned, "Of course, he can leave."
"It was really weird," Pacifica answered.
"It reminded me of when everything happened," Gideon said, "When he realized that he couldn't leave Gravity Falls."
"What?" Stan said.
"Dipper can't leave Gravity Falls," Mabel repeated, "Anything with magic isn't allowed outside of gravity falls."
"Don't you have a magic stone?" Stan questioned.
"My magic stone stopped working until I came back into gravity falls," Mabel said, "Dipper is way stronger than a stone."
"Ssss,"
"Sammy not now," Pacifica mumbled, "He kept banging on the bubble."
"What did that monster mean that you have to do it before it's too late," Gideon asked.
Mabel didn't know what to say.
"Dipper needs to unleash his power before it's too late," Stan made something up, "When he does he can leave and maybe the monsters."
Mabel nodded agreeing with her uncle. Now they had to keep up that lie when around Gideon and Pacifica.
"Let me drop you two off home," Stan offered, "You two have had an... interesting day."
"I'll walk," Gideon wanted alone time.
Gideon excused himself and left the shack. Pacifica hugged Mabel and smiled at her smiled. Her eyes widen when she whispered in her ear.
"I'll keep his secret, Mabel,"
Mabel noticed that her fingers brushed against her forearm. Mabel looked at her and Pacifica smiled softly.
"Just be safe if you can't tell me,"
