Awake
Third-person
"The hell happened,"
Bill opened his eyes and saw the clear blue sky with the tree branches. It was a sight he thought he wasn't going to see for a long time.
"Shit... it's so bright,"
Bill groaned loudly and started to sit up. He stared towards the ground and saw that he had human legs. His eyes widen and he placed his hands in front of him to make sure he wasn't dreaming.
"I can't be a fucking meat sack!" Bill shouted.
Bill quickly got up and looked at himself. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. He saw the Cipher wheel on his arm.
"What did those meat sacks do to me!" Bill shouted in anger, "Why is one side so blurry!"
In anger, Bill started to kick everything and also kept bumping into trees.
"Damn eyes," Bill groaned, "I can barely see... it's that other stupid eye."
Bill stumbled his way deeper into the woods and found a pond. He wanted to see how he looked like. He saw blonde hair on the top and black hair on the bottom, golden to amber eyes, he tan and had freckles, and he had a small scar across his left eye. He finally noticed that on his forearm he had the cipher wheel marked.
"Why do I look like a teenager?" Bill muttered, "I wonder if I can still use my powers."
Bill tried using his powers and it worked. He was thankful that he was still able to use it.
"Still got my touch," Bill smirked.
He started to walk back to where he had decided to die. He didn't want to die in the middle of gravity falls. He sat down and stared at the flowers.
Bill started to laugh and he had a strange look in his eyes, "I wonder who wants to make a deal?"
As he laughed he looked at the ground and noticed something. He saw a triangle with the Big Dipper symbol. He was confused and grabbed it.
"I wonder if you can lead me to something... this symbol is on my wheel," Bill muttered.
Bill's vision was slowly getting better since he didn't use to seeing with two eyes. Bill used his power to make a portal to someone who would answer his questions.
Bill walked through the portal and arrived in the nightmare realm. He hasn't seen this realm in so long and it felt unreal as he stepped deeper inside of it. It's been so long, Bill thought, I need to find that creature.
Bill raced through the realm looking for the creature that told him that he was going to rule the world. He wanted answers since obviously, that didn't happen.
The king of demons had finally returned home. Bill went to the creature's cave and went inside.
"You lied!" Bill shouted.
"I did not lie," The creature said.
"You told me that I was going to rule gravity falls and then the world! Then I'm defeated by meat sacks with their ridiculous machines." Bill screamed, "You told me that I was going to rule the world! And why am I in this meat sack?"
Bill heard a soft laugh come from the creature.
"The fault is not mine," The creature said, "You only asked if it will be true and I answered correctly. You did not ask when."
"You have to be fucking kidding me!" Bill shouted, "Then answer the other question, why am I like this?"
"The form that you last saw will be the one you stay for eternity," The creature told him, "The age is similar to the person that brought you back."
"You told me that I would rule the world," Bill muttered, "What went wrong."
"Only demons fought by your side and what you need were monsters as well," The creature explained, "You missed something important. You cannot face this alone."
"What does that mean?" Bill asked.
"You need more than demons to rule this world," The creature mumbled.
The creature spat fire and Bill stepped back. He saw the fire dance and saw images of what happened.
"You led an army but they were not strong enough. You were fooled by the humans and meant your doom by swore to return," The fire began to turn blue, "So you may rule you must have the creatures of this land follow. Find the one that whispers with the monster. Then you will get what you desire the most."
The fire disappeared as Bill looked at the creature.
"Basically, I need to figure out a way to convince the monsters to join my side? All I need to do is find someone that speaks to the monster?" Bill asked.
"Depending on what you do," The creature stated, "Will determine your fate."
"Just tell me how I can get there," Bill said.
"You know that I am forbidden to say," The creature told him.
"What can you tell me?" Bill asked him, "It could be about this stupid body I'm in or whatever!"
Bill's blonde hair started to turn red. He felt the frustration of his failure and the confusion get to him. The creature senses the confusion that the demon had.
"The one who whispers with the monsters is your key. Who whispers will determine how you will rule," Bill looked at the creature.
The creature stopped talking wanting to keep the young demon waiting. Bill waiting for another answer.
"The eye where your scar stands will tell you when you have found the who whispers with the monsters," The creature told him, "Your eye will glow and so will theirs."
Bill felt his eye and then looked at the creature.
"You and the one who whispers with monsters are more connected than you think. You much different than him and him more different than you." The creature said.
"Where do I find the one who whispers with monsters or whatever bullshit you're saying," Bill groaned.
"With that tone, the one who whispers will not trust you," The creature told him, "It will be harder to gain trust."
"May I please know where this person is?" Bill asked politely.
"You could never leave gravity falls," The creature said, "Put it together."
"You don't have to be that harsh," Bill pouted.
"Any other questions," The creature asked Bill.
Bill was somewhat worried about the question he was going to ask, but he wanted it to be answered.
"Will I die again?"
"That answer is still unclear I may know the past, the present, and the future," The creature muttered, "But this future is still uncertain. You still haven't made enough steps to know where your destination is. "
"Fair point," Bill muttered.
"When we meet again," The creature walked deeper inside the cave.
Bill snapped his fingers and a small box was placed on the ground. Bill left the cave and returned to the home that he had in the nightmare realm.
He teleported there the moment he walked out of the cave. Bill walked around his home and reminded himself that he was alone in this large house.
He walked into his bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror.
"I guess I have to play nice to the meat sacks until I find the monster whisper, " Bill sighed.
Bill stroked the triangle with his thumb as he looked at his forearm.
"I wonder who the monster whisperer is..." As he felt the scar on his eye.
Meanwhile in the mortal world Dipper was writing in his new journal about the monsters he had just found. Dipper took out the other journal and found the page with the symbols again with the phrase that he said.
"I'm so curious," Dipper muttered, "What are you?"
