More shadow creatures were leaping up onto Xaliner occasionally. She was able to shake most of them off, and I had to kill some of them. But there was this one that would just NOT GET OFF! And when I tried to kill it, it dodged. Xaliner shook one more time, trying to get it off, but my grip on her was loose, and I ended up falling. It felt like hours for me to drift down through the air. Once I landed, I ended up in the water. I was sinking, and I couldn't swim. This is it I thought. At least, I thought that before I saw a shadow diving down. There was a loud splash, but I could barely hear it at all. I saw Xaliner swimming, her wings spread. She was coming towards me, to save me! Once she reached me, I gripped onto her muzzle, and she swam upwards, and I felt like I was about to faint. Aaaaaaaand that happened right when she got me out of the water.

T-T-T-T-TIIIIIIIME SKIIIIIIIIIIIIIP

I woke up, coughing. I noticed I was wet, but on dry ground. I looked around, seeing Xaliner. She was dripping water, trying to clean it off. That's when she noticed I was up. She immediately ran closer, worry practically bursting out of her. She started licking my face, and nudging me. "OHMYGOODNESSI'MSORRYIWASSOWORRIEDYOUWOULDN'TWAKEUPOHI'MSOSOSORRYI'LLMAKEITUPTOY--" She was bursting out with surprise, panic, and other emotions in that mix, and I cut her off. "Calm down, 'mama'," I said. "Don't be so panicky and stuff, I'm fine," She was about to say something, but silenced herself, and nodded. "Where are we, though?" I asked her. "Just a random place I could find to place you," she responded. "So you don't know...?" I asked, worried. "Y-yep.." she replied. So we're lost... I thought.
