We were still up in the sky. That is, before a giant, shady figure that looked like a wolf leaped up into the sky, landing on Xaliner's back, with me on her back. She started flailing in the air, trying to get the shadowy creature off, to no avail. I decided to take action, and brought a sword out of my backpack. I sliced one of the creature's legs off, a gray substance, meant to be blood, dripping out. It growled and snarled, attempting to attack me, it's jaws snapping open. It leapt at me, it's blood still dripping out, causing me to swing my sword at it. I cut off it's head, the head and the leg falling off of Xaliner, along with the body.

"What was THAT?!" I exclaimed curiously.

"A shadow creature," Xaliner replied, a growl dragging out after those words.

I shook my head, "Shouldn't mess with THE ALMIGHTY RACHEL!!!!!!!!" I said, knowing I sounded like a child from saying that. Xaliner snickered at my childishness. I playfully hit her on the head. I put my sword away after that.

"We're close to the island," Xaliner said, "from the incident with the shadow creature, I know that..." I looked down, seeing the water, and gasped. I was tempted to jump off of Xaliner and into the water, but didn't. I looked at the back of Xaliner's head, arms wrapped around her neck, just to stay on.
