~Dixie's POV~

-The next day-

I was now in my room, where I was watching tv. I just finished eating dinner downstairs, obviously by myself. After the incident yesterday Dad gave me a necklace with a emerald hanging but in reality there's a small GPS in it. Bruce and the others are obviously down at the batcave. I still can't believe that everyone except for me are superheroes. I guess they don't trust me...

"While that's boiling lets get our-"

"Great. We're all bloody-"

"Who lives in a pineapple under the-"

"The notorious mob boss, Tony Zucco, was-"

"Ferb! I know what we're-"

Wait what?! I quickly changed the channel to Gotham News.

"Tony Zucco was last seen near the borders of Gotham. He was accused of-"

I switched off the tv, not wanting to listen anymore. Bruce and the others still haven't found the guy who killed my family... I guess if they won't find Zucco I will. I quickly changed from my pjs to black clothes and black shoes. I also took a black jacket just in case if someone would recognise me. I quickly put on my jacket and pulled up the hood and got a small flash light. I opened my windows carefully not to make a noise and jumped down on a tree branch. Now to find Zucco.

~Terry's POV~

I was down at the batcave with Damian, Tim and Stephanie helping Bruce track down Zucco. So far we found out that Zucco rented an apartment yesterday but left and said he's planning to leave Gotham tomorrow so we have to find him by tonight. I saw Damian stand up said he was going to check on Rachelle. Ever since Rachelle was kidnapped we always checked on her to see if she was okay.

"Guys get up here!" I heard Damian scream. Whats wrong? Did something happen to Dixie?! Tim, Steph and I quickly ran up the stairs towards Dixie's room. I saw Damian in the room but I can't see Dixie. The windows are open and everything was fixed. I took out my phone and checked the security cameras. I saw Dixie watching tv and suddenly changed it to the news. I quickly paused the video and zoomed in on the video to see a picture of Tony Zucco on the news. She must have went to look for him. "I think Dixie went to look for Zucco" I told the others, who were looking around the room looking for her. "What?! We have to look for her! She can't take down Zucco by herself!" Damian shouted. Tim quickly drew out his phone and started typing a few things. "She's not that far away from where Bruce is" Tim said looking at the GPS in her necklace. I quickly contacted Batman and told him that Dixie went to look for Zucco and isn't that far away. I just hope Bruce gets there in time.

~Jason's POV~

I was with Bruce and Cass looking for Bruce when someone called Batman in the communicator. "What?! What do you mean she's gone?!" I heard Batman yell. Cats and I began to worry. What happened? Who are they talking about? "Good. Keep me contacted on where she is. Batman out" He quickly turns around to face me and Cass. "Dixie went to look for Zucco and isn't that far" He simply stated and went in the batmobile. Cats and I quickly ran in the batmobile and Bruce drove quickly down the streets tracing the signal of her GPS. Once we reached down an old motel, we saw many police cars and an ambulance. Batman, Batgirl and I quickly jumped out of the car and saw Commissioner Gordon. "Batman! When did you get here?" He asked us, noticing our presence. "What happened here?" Batgirl asked as if she didn't hear the question. "Rachelle, Bruce Wayne's ward, called saying she found Zucco and knocked him out. Once we got here we saw Zucco tied up unconscious" Rachelle found Zucco before us, how is that possible? "Where is she?" I asked wondering to where Dixie was. "She's by the ambulance being checked for any injuries" Batman nodded and we went to the ambulance. She was there sitting down on the back of the ambulance being questioned by a cop. I noticed that Dixie looked perfectly fine.

~Dixie's POV~

I was sitting on the back of the ambulance being questioned by a cop. I explained to him that I found Zucco and knocked him out by hitting a weak spot, like what I did to Harley but I didn't tell him that of course. I quickly notices Batman, Red Hood and Batgirl walking towards me. I quickly turned away to not lookout them. I'm still upset that they always left me alone and that they keep secrets from me. "I''ll be bringing her home" Batman said talking to the police and just simply carried me towards the batmobile and set me down. Once Cass and Jason closed the doors Bruce drove off. No one spoke and tension was in the air. "Dixie what we're you thinking? You could have gotten hurt." Bruce said sighing. "You could have gotten kidnap again" Jason said. I just looked down at my feet feeling disappointment. "But I'm perfectly fine and took down Zucco by myself."I said defending my self. The car was now dead silent. "Um Bruce... I'm sorry if you are disappointed in me for doing that I understand..." I said feeling a heavy tension in the air again. "Just don't do that again" He sighed. But then I don't want to stop I like it... "Sorry but no" I spoke up. He just suddenly stops the car and looks at me. Cass and Jason just stared in shock. No one ever stood up against THE Batman. "I like doing this Bruce. I know you think that I'm crazy and you probably hate me now but I love this feeling, Bruce" I pleaded with him. "We'll discuss this tomorrow its getting late" He continued to drive off. Jason and Cass was still shocked but I didn't mind them. I was looking outside the window as we pass by the streets of Gotham. Once we reached the Batcave Terry and the others swarm me with questions but I didn't feel like talking. I just push past them and ran to my room and slammed my door. I'm so confused. I want to be angry and yet sad at the same time. Sometimes I wonder if it would be better if I had fallen with my family. I just couldn't take this anymore. I jumped on my bed and crawled up and let out all the tears that welded up in my eyes.
