~Terry's POV~

Dixie was laying down on her bed crying on Peanut. I sat down at her bed and lifted her up to my lap. She cried on my shirt, her hand curled into fists. I rubbed soothing circles on her back while she cried. Once she was done, she looked up to face me. "What's wrong Dixie?" I asked looking straight in her blue eyes. "I thought that you guys didn't love me anymore and that you're sending me back to the orphanage" She hiccuped. "Why would you think of that?" "I haven't seen you the whole day and I thought Bruce is mad at me" She broke down crying again. I put my finger under her chin and lift her head so I can stare straight into her. "We love you, Dixie. We would never leave you. Do you understand?" I used my thumbs and removed the tears of her cheeks. She nodded and hugged me. I hugged back of course. "Bruce and the others are at the living room and they want to talk to you"I felt her stiffen and looked at me. I saw the overwhelming fear in her eyes. "Don't worry, it's gonna be something good. Just please trust me" I said, sitting up from the bed and carried her. "Okay" I heard her whisper.

I carried her down the halls into the living room. I put her down on the chair beside Bruce. She avoided making eye contact with anyone in the room and just stared at the floor. Bruce placed a hand on her knee and she raised her head and looked at him. Bruce sighed and started, "Dixie, I know you are still a young girl but after what you did yesterday we came up with a decision". Bruce reached into his pocket and pulled out a domino mask. Dixie's eyes went wide. "Wait. Are you saying that I can be a superhero like you guys?" She asked staring at each one of us. I nodded. "So what do you say?" Damian asked. "Of course! Yeah! Thank you so much!" she hugged each one of us with a big smile. "So what do you want to be called?" Tim asked our little princess. "I want to be called Robin" She said looking at the mask. "Like the bird?" Stephanie asked. "My mom used to call me that" Dixie sad sadly. Bruce placed a hand on her shoulder. "I think its perfect" She smiled brightly at us, and that is how Robin was born.
