Cooking with mom was fun but things change over the course of time don't they. I read deeper in my kind yes, but I also found things out that freaked me out. They lied to me my whole life and just simply put me into training like a normal shadowhunter. I didn't even understand why at the time, why they gave a child a knife or any form of a weapon at twelve years old. I started feeling different at nine but said nothing as I thought it was me growing up. At ten the anger got worse and at twelve they sent me to training classes to help me learn and keep busy. Except now at seventeen I knew barely anything other then how to fight and Weald weapons.

I had a hidden stash that surprisingly Elena and Jeremy didn't know about only mom and dad did. They allowed me to have it and every so often I get a new item to add, recently as an apology gift I was given a special snake bracelet that changes forms. It was given to me by my parents and Jax also gave me something to apologize as well. He gave me a dagger that was absolutely stunning and had special runes on it. He told me it was special and I'd know eventually why it was so special. Although as of right now I didn't know why it was so special or why it had someone's initials engraved on it.

I didn't quite understand what he wanted to give it to me for or why it was special again. I also didn't understand why I could suddenly read certain languages that I didn't ever learn about. Like Latin, German, Russian, Chinese and Japanese, which was weird because it came to me suddenly. Although that's not the scariest part, it's when Jax showed me how to draw runes in myself. Also how to use them and how to hide them from my siblings. It looked like a tattoo but hell it did not feel like one although I don't have tattoos so I wouldn't know.

It wasn't a needle entering my skin though it was like being burned with freshly dipped metal that burns your skin. He showed me how to draw the runes on myself and by the third one the burning feeling wasn't as painful as the first time he drew one. I had a total of four, three I did and one Jax put into me. First one was of course the marking or rune that lets others know what I am. It was the angel mark, the second one was agility and I drew that one myself. The third one was also drawn by me and it was calming or more so to clam my anger inside. And the fourth one was night vision don't ask why I chose it but I did and no it's on me forever.

That was of course as long as I followed the laws of my people which was going to be tough to learn and follow. Me being the not so much for rule following kind of person of course.

After dinner I called harden to come over and visit me, except things were suddenly different. When he entered my room through the window might I add considering my parents weren't aware of us. His aura was different it had a yellow glow now and when the light hit his eyes I could have sworn they turned yellow. He seemed tense and confused also afraid of something or maybe himself. When I reached for him he flinched away and that got me worried. But I remembered something that Jax told me the other day. He told me I had a special ability to tell who was supernatural and what they were along with who was human.

"What happened to you harden?" I asked

"You know don't you?" He asked

"I don't because you haven't told me yet" I said confused

"I can see the markings on your skin suddenly" he said

I tried to think of the list of colors that Jax told me about while we were reading. The different creatures had different auras and they were all different colors too. Yellow what it meant....

"Werewolf" I whispered

"You're a hybrid, but why didn't you tell me?" He asked upset

"I didn't know you had the wolf gene or were you bit?" I asked

"Why didn't you tell me what you were trinity?" He said while talking a threatening step forward

"I didn't know until a few days ago" I said

"Sure, and I bet you really didn't know about my wolf ability in my family" he scoffed

"I didn't I swear because if I did I would have warned you harden" I pleaded

"No your lying you have to be" he said with a growl

"Harden i don't lie to you remember we made a promise" I said stepping back as he stepped forward

I was getting nervous and he was getting angrier at me but my anger rose with his next words.

"Your lying you probably knew this entire time, you didn't care for me all you cared for was how you felt and not a single thing was for me was it huh" he snapped

I growled and shoved him backwards causing him to stumble slightly. But now he wasn't just angry and nor was I we both were pissed at one another. Suddenly he shoved me back and I dodged his next attack as I swiftly pulled my bracket down and formed a dagger. I pointed the silver blade at him causing him to raise his hands and step back. I had a fire in my eyes, I felt my body light on fire inside, my eyes glowing a deep shade of green as I stepped closer and he stepped back.

"You don't tell me that shit, don't put words in my mouth harden, I trusted you and I loved you, I care so much for you so what makes you think I'd lie or keep something like that from you" I shouted
