"So Theo where you from?" I asked

"New York, but Adam called me down said he needed help with a new Shadowhunter hybrid" he said

"So, your here for how long?" I asked

"As long as you need training for" he said with a smirk

"Sounds good to me" I smiled

"Okay so what books have you brought for research?" Adam asks as he reaches in my bag

"I told Jax about me being adopted and all my thoughts but I'm not sure if he shared them with you" I said

"The legends of Tobias and the lost Herondale line" Adam asked looking at the book in his hand

"Yeah you know the story of rosemary Herondale right?" I asked

"Yeah it's part of our history why?" Adam asked

"Because she had a kid with her husband that she ran off with, I'm sure of it I just need to prove it" I said

"Wait your saying?" Theo began

"That I'm part of the Herondale lost line" I finished

"Oh that would be a real kicker for Imogen wouldn't it" Adam laughed

"You mean Imogen Herondale that runs the clave?" I asked

"Yeah she's all about the lost line of Herondale after she lost her son and his wife" Adam said

"So then if I contact her and ask for a DNA test you think she'll go for it?" I asked

"No definitely not" Adam laughed

"Why the hell not, I mean if I am rosemary's kid then I'm a Herondale wouldn't she want to know" I snapped

"Look I don't know what Jax told you but there's no way" Adam said

"No way that I'm a Herondale right?, your an asshole you know that and god I'd hate to be your soulmate" I snapped and began to walk off

"Watch it" he snapped grabbing me

I spun around and pinned him to the ground claws and canines out along with my eyes.

"Listen here Adam your nothing to me, your just a simple trainer for me because Jax decided to ditch me, your a compete and utter asshole and you think about only yourself and nothing else so leave me and my theories alone while I prove them and you sit idly by" I growled

I let go of him and grabbed my bag full of books tears in my eyes and began to walk off.

"First rule don't show emotion" Adam called out

"First rule don't be an asshole" I called out and went home

When I got inside Elena was there with Jeremy laughing about something but I walked right past them.

"Trinity where have you been?" Elena said rushing after me

"I was ditched by my friend okay and I went for a walk to cool off only to be more upset" I lied

"Jellybean I'm here you can talk to me" she said

"No Elena I can't, I can't talk to you because you won't understand" I said and shut my bedroom door in her face

I didn't know how to contact the clave or how I'd possibly find Imogen or whatever. But I was determined to find someone to get me there to find her. I read somewhere about warlocks being able to create portals to places. Well only places they've been but still maybe if I find someone. I decided to talk my parents into something big something they might not allow but I'll be convincing I have to be. So I waited for them to get home as I planned it out in my head how I'd talk to them. When they did get home I brought my book downstairs and waited in the kitchen.

"Can we talk?" I asked while sitting at the table

"Elena Jeremy go upstairs please" mom said

They both left and went to their rooms leaving me, mom and dad in the kitchen alone. I placed the book down in front of them and pointed to the words on the page.

"I know this is a lot to ask and I'm only seventeen but I'll be eighteen soon right so I think I should be allowed to do this, I want to go out and find them my real parents, or whatever family they had out there and I need to start in a town where more beings exist that can find me further people, I've been training since I was twelve I'll be fine and I'll take Jax with me so I won't be alone if that makes it better but I'm telling you know it's either you give permission or I just go" I said

"You really want this?" Dad asked

"I do" I said

"And you're going to be gone for how long?" Mom asked

"I'll start with a month then I'll come home if I come up empty" I said

"We will allow this under one condition" mom said

"Anything" I said

"Call us every day especially if you think somethings wrong, also keep yourself hidden your powerful and people will sense this which will put you in danger" dad said

"Deal when can I start?" I asked

"You'll need to enroll in online classes too" mom said

"Okay so can I like start packing and leave soon or what?" I asked

"You can go tomorrow morning before school and before your siblings wake up" dad said

"Okay thanks so much" I said hugging them both

With that I ran upstairs packed my bags with the things I would need of course. Like clothes, shoes, essentials, phone and charger and other electronics needed such as computer and charger. I packed my books that would be needed for the studying portion and research of the trip. Along with my weapons of course and my stele that I was given along with my important objects and documentation stuff. I would be traveling and Jax wasn't coming with me I lied about that part. They wouldn't need to know and I wasn't going to tell them unless they asked. Or somehow find out about it but for now I grabbed my things and put them in the trunk of my car. I was going to leave Elena and Jeremy a few letters each and then head out after some sleep.
