I stayed away from home for a good few days before my mom called worried and panicking about me being gone. So I said goodbye to Hayley and went back home for the sake of my parents sanity and hope they stop lying to me.

"Good thank goodness your home" mom said and went to hug me

"No, don't hug me" I growled

"Trinity please, can't we get past that" she said

"No your still hiding things from me, and no one will tell me the god damn truth, so no hugs and definitely no forgetting about it" I snapped and left up to my room

I began to get ready for school even knowing that I was definitely late not that I or anyone cared. Well my parents cared but I grew less and less worried about school. And began to get more worried about the things that go on around the mundane eye. When I was with Hayley we trained for three days with chatting here and there. I knew quite a lot about her more then before which was good. I knew that one day she'd have children of her own and be a wonderful mother. Especially because hers abandoned her and then her adopted parents decided to as well. When things like that happen in your life it's hard to forget them.

It also makes you want to never be like that to your kids in the future. And sometimes on the more unfortunate side you end up just like your parents. But me I don't know if I wanted kids or if I'd ever find the right person to settle down with. I had borrowed a book from Anna and her family and decided to do some further research on my kind. I wanted to drown out the life I was currently living and focus on the world in the book. Because the further I read the more information I got on what to do and what not to do. Because apparently there in the new generation is a thing called and accords that the night children have with the light children.

Which is terms for shadowhunter's being the light and night being the vampires in the world. It also gave me more information on the thing that was repeated constantly which was "clave". It was the higher power to the shadowhunters and apparently they had laws. And strict ones at that, reading through the laws was tiring really. Boring too because it was all rules this and rules that which were boring to say the least. I hated following rules but the next thing that got my attention.

Was the term soulmate or soulmates some call it a mate or other half. It was interesting to say the least and it's rare for certain species. Like certain types of wolves it was rare but for shadowhunter's it was natural. But I'm not only a shadowhunter I'm also a wolf shifter and faerie. You must be wondering what abilities I have if I'm also part faerie well I can tell you what I do know. All I know is I can go into the seelie realm easily. I can use some of their magic like elemental abilities or elemental magic. So basically fire, water, earth and air elements which is cool. I haven't tested it out yet especially because I don't want to hurt anyone.

I can't imagine what I'd feel if I ever hurt someone like that. As I was sitting in my room reading someone came and knocked on the door.

"Come in" I called out without looking up

"You can't be mad forever right?" Elena asked

"Elena they lied to me, they continue to lie to me and wha stops them from having more secrets" I said

"I get it but they're our parents" she said

"If your going to be mom and dads errand girl then leave" I said

"Trinity please they want to talk" she said

"Fine but if they plan to keep lying then I'm done" I said

"Ok" she said with try u a triumphant smile causing me to roll my eyes

I didn't want to talk to them but if they were willing to tell me the truth then fine. But if they weren't and they planned on hiding it still then no way was I talking. Although I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and go downstairs to talk to them.

"There you are" mom said softly as if she didn't want to get me upset

"I'm here to hear you out, but if you keep lying to me I'll go back to ignoring you" I said

"We can't tell you everything only because we don't know it all" dad began

"Okay so what can you tell me?" I asked

"Well your adopted for one" mom said softly

"What" I said shocked

No I didn't see this coming, why did it hurt so badly that they were only telling me now. Don't get me wrong I figured this much, but that didn't stop it from hurting me so much.

"I know we wanted to tell you sooner, but we didn't know how to" mom said

"So where are my real parents then?" I asked

"We don't know, you were left on our doorstep in the middle of March so we took you in as our own" dad said

"I think I need to umm go" I said

"Sweetie just know we love you and your still our daughter" mom said

"I...I know" I said and rushed up the stairs tears in my eyes as I called my best friend and closest witch

"Bells I have to tell you something" I said

"Oh are you crying?, What happened?, are you okay?" she asked

"My parents lied to me Belle, they aren't my real parents either apparently I'm adopted, I was left on their doorstep in the middle of March" I said

"Wow, that's tough I'm so sorry, is there anything I can do?" she asked

"Not really, but I think I know why I have the Herondale abilities now" I said

"You mean you think that Rosemary and Jonny had a baby and your that baby?" she asked

"It's the only thing I can think of" I said

"Well your right, I think it could be true, but how do we prove it?" she asked

"I have to figure that out, but I'll call you when I think of something" I said

"Call me if you need anything and I will also do some searching" she said

"Okay" I said and with that ended the call
