I sat in the corner alone at lunch like I usually do. People go on with their lives not even noticing me. I'm know as the Shadow, because i'm always in the dark or away from everyone. I would have sat outside but it was raining and the doors outside were locked. My friends have learned to not even try anymore and i'm fine with that...I don't really need anyone. Then all of a sudden the new girl Silver can up to me. Why? She sat right next to be with her food, all I did was stare at her. She turned her head to look at me.

"Your from my first class right? You sit in the back." Silver asked.

"Yea." I said.

"Why are you sitting here?" Silver asked.

"Because." I said.

She laughed, "Ok, you don't want to tell me, I'm fine with that." She said.

I take a bite of my sandwich.

"I know I've only been here for a few hours, but I've seen you a lot in my classes and in the the hallways and I've noticed something." She said. 

"And what is that?" I asked.

"You never smile." She responded.

"Huh. I guess I don't." I said.

"Well i'm going to get you to smile Shadow!" She yelled.

"Shadow?" I asked hearing my mocking name.

"That's your name isn't it, at least that's what I've heard everyone call you." She said.

"That's because they don't care to even find out my name, except Blaze and Izzy." I said.

"So what is your name?" She asked.

"Storm." I responded.

"Well Storm, I'm going to get you to smile!" She yelled.

".O....K...." I spoke.

"Why does Snorlax have no friends on Facebook?" She asked.

"I don't now." I said.

"BECAUSE HE BLOCKS ALL THEM!" She screamed. 

I laughed and smiled.

"I did it I did it! You smiled you smiled." Silver danced around.  

I just kept laughing and smiled, I haven't don't that for like a year. The whole lunch room was quite except for my loud laughter. Everyone in the lunch room was string at me in Silver shocked. I heard some of their whispers as I laughed.

"Shadow's laughing?"

"I didn't know he could speak."

"How did that girl do that?"

"THE NEW GIRLS A WHICH!"

That was the first day I felt happy again.
