Chapter 2

--A Day Swallowed By Night-- 

What if I become silent like darkness? I won't be able to come out to the surface normally. But I can support you from where I can't be seen. But No. Then you might forget about me.

It was early in the afternoon. NightSwift and me were playing chase out in the front yard.

Mom and dad were talking to each other enjoying the beautiful day.  

"Hey kids!", Dad yelled. NightSwift and me stopped what we were doing and looked up at our parents.

"Were going to the park!", Mom's cheerful voice rang.

"Really!?", NightSwift looked way to excited.

"Of course why would we lie to you?", Dad answered. 

"The park is just across the road.", Mom said.

"Let's go then!" I Replied. We were waiting for the walking symbol to appear on the street light thingy. I really didn't know what it was but I knew what it meant.

"Hey when we get to that park lets go down the biggest side their StormCloud.", NightSwift said.

"Don't call me by my first name NightSwift!", I yelled.

"STORMCLOUD STORMCLOUD STORMCLOUD!", NightSwift kept yelling.

"MOM DAD!", I yelled feeling hot tears steam down my face.

"That's enough NightSwift!", Mom snapped. NightSwift stopped and froze, he hatted how scary Mom was when she was mad. The walking symbol appeared and we started to walk when a truck came speeding at us. I looked at it terrified. My eyes looked as wide as a Deerling's in head lights. I'm going to die. 

"Kids we love you a lot.", Mom said.

"More than you know.", Dad added. Dad picked NightSwift up and Mom picked me up. They through us onto the sidewalk. I looked at them with fear in my eyes.

"Take care we love you both.", I heard them say before the truck smashed into them. The truck didn't stopped it just kept going. 

"Mommy.......", I called out, there was no answer.

"Daddy........", NightSwift called out, still no answer. All the cars that stopped at the stoplight did not go when the light changed but they stayed still. A few Pokemon had gotten out of their cars but stayed back a little. I burst out in tears and NightSwift soon followed suit. NightSwift and me sprinted to the center of the road to our parents lifeless body. I nudged their bodies.

"Come on wake up.", I cried out.

"Stop sleeping get up.", NightSwift's voice was heavy with sorrow. A Lucario got out of his car and ran over to us. 

"Stand back." He said in a light voice. "I'm sorry he said soon after examining the bodies, "There gone."

"NO NO NO NO YOUR WRONG THEY CAN'T BE!-", NightSwift shouted at the Lucario.

"NightSwift.", I said. NightSwift looked at me and calmed down but he was still filled with grief. I can't blame him. We were to young to lose something that big.
