As I said in the story blurb, these are just a few writing lessons I picked up, mostly the hard way--by embarrassing myself--or occasionally by way of some professional or semi-professional bit of advice. I certainly don't claim to be an expert in writing or anything else.

I present these tips and techniques here as-is with no guarantees or warranties whatsoever. They are subject to change at a moment's notice--or whenever I realize how silly something I said was. A lot of this is simply reminders to myself of things to remember and/or look out for so I can't guarantee everything will be coherent. Please feel free to comment on whatever you find here. My plan is to post as I go through various notes and bits of advice compiling them, or whenever I compose a really good post on the forums for someone asking for advice--whichever comes first. :)
