*Cue Ending Music and Scene With Everyone Like All of The Episodes of this Saga*
That's right, people. This chapter is about to be over. Please prepare for this and take your time to freak out now in the comments. Scream with the lungs of an excited Rancor, curl up in a ball and spazz out simultaneously. Do what you need to.
...Done? Okay.
It was finally ending the final hours of the passing holiday, the moon shining full as it reflected on the busy streets of Coruscant, stars barely luminous on the planet that already had lights flashing and blaring throughout corridors and hallways of the multiple tall buildings. People and aliens alike were beginning to settle down, sounds lowering to whirs of engines being shut down and doors shutting like the ending of sentences. For once, the city that never slept seemed to be reaching a agreement to. As minutes trickled quickly, the trio of heroes stood tautly on a porch overlooking the skyscrapers and holograms, cold wisps of wind biting at their noses. Ahsoka sat down on the ledge, closing her eyes as she felt the night begin to fold into the next day. Anakin took a seat next to her, almost expecting her former Master to protest of his actions. He was shocked to find the flower crown wearing man settle next to him. They stayed completely quiet for a second, watching the sky. A quick flash showered across the midnight blue canvas, catching the young woman's eye.
"It's a shooting star..." Her whisper brought the two men from their deep thoughts, and they looked at her with a confused expression.
"So? What's so special about a shooting star, Snips?" Ahsoka squeezed her eyes together, mumbling what sounded like a rhyme before making her voice audible to answer.
"On Earth, when a shooting star is seen in the sky, you're supposed to make a wish." Her eyes sparkled a little as she shivered slightly from the cold, wrapping her obscene yet adorable sweater closer to her torso. "If you say your wish quick enough, it's bound to come true." Obi Wan opened his mouth to rattle on about how making wishes and having them come true has never been actually proven, but Anakin lightly jabbed him with his elbow. Bits of pink and violet flowers brushed his forehead as he sighed, moving his legs as he held on to the ledge a little tighter.
"Well, Ahsoka, what did you wish for?"
She let out a faint giggle, giving a signature smirk that Anakin had remembered bumping into the first day she arrived before him. "I can't tell you my wish, or it can't come true! Besides...", she paused, hugging the both of them. "It already came true...hanging out with two of my best friends." The men stopped, staring at each other as she focused back on the full moon, eyes almost luminous as she concentrated on all of it's features. For that one moment, Anakin felt a small tear itch at the edge of eyes, blinking it way incredulously. He nearly hiccuped, clearing his throat to hide the small, weak sign.
"Snips...Merry Christmas."
As soon as the words left his lips, several clocks around the planet struck, and the holiday came to an end.
MEANWHILE:
1.) The Jedi Temple is in ruins. Things are on fire, pieces of furniture are slashed, and everyone is either passed out or just waking up. At first, Yoda thought it was that weird prophecy he had dreamed of earlier, (which Yoda thought, "That could never happen, who would be crazy enough to come up in the Jedi Temple and try to hurt us"...) but it turned out it was because he was twerking too much and Anakin went a little lightsaber crazy with that pinata Rancor. The investigations were eliminated quickly, and no one will admit that night ever happened.
2.) Tiffany and R2D2 are in a wonderful relationship, but the Empero--I MEAN the Chancellor, is still emotionally disturbing as usual. He ended getting a new cloak, which is rather black and mysterious looking, and it covers his eyes. He claims he will use it for special events, but why would he cover his face? He isn't...hiding something, is he? (*coughs loudly*)
3.) Anakin ended up forgetting to buy a gift for Padme, but since she didn't know of the holiday in the first place because it was celebrated mainly by the Jedi only, he decided to remain quiet. He isn't going to say a word, he can't bear to lose anymore brownie points.
4.)Whether this holiday will be celebrated by the Jedi crew is incredibly unknown. I guess we'll have to find that out later. (But who knows...Maybe I will grow inspiration to make another holiday, Jedi themed book because it did well with the audience.)
LEAVE ANY HOLIDAY SUGGESTIONS BELOW, AND I WILL TRY TO DO THEM! (MOST LIKELY DURING THE ACTUAL HOLIDAY, OR THE HOLIDAY'S MONTH...HEH HEH. But who says Christmas can't be celebrated in March, I still have a Christmas tree up...)
