Karan was waiting for someone in a room it was quite dark more like an abandoned one after he lit a cigarette the door was opend with a thud sound two people came inside while carying a man with them he was almost unconcious they made him sit on a chair across him and then left

Karan : Kevin wake up look at me you asshole 

but he didnt replied so karan got furious he took a glass of water and splashed that on his face so that man regain some conciousness there were some bruises on his face and neck due to torturing  

he finally held his head high towards karan and looked at him with a sarcastic way

Kevin : No matter how hard you try you never gonna find that pen drive 

and he started laughing 

Karan got from his chair and went to him he put his gun under his jawline near to the neck 

Karan : Dont you wanna leave if you dont give me that i will make sure that you die..got me 

Kevin : Its not that easy you just cant kill me like this 

and he smirked 

Karan : I am giving you the last chance just become a witness of this case and get yourself out of this and lead a normal life 

Kevin : you fucking liars you know you will never do that in our bussiness we never deceive anyone i would rather die 

Karan could control his anger anymore he punched really hard on his face and pulled his hair 

Where is that god damn thing answer me you fucking wretch

Kevin didnt replied back but before he karan could realise he quickly pull out a paper knife from his pocket and stabbed on karan hand he ached in pain so kevin kicked him hard and he fell on the ground 

Then kevin started running towards the balcony karan got up and it was bleeding from his right arm but he followed him

Kevin went up to the edge of the balcony and gave an evilish smile 

Kevin : As i said you will never find that 

Karan ran to him but before he could stop him kevin jumped off from there 

Kevin dont he shouted...

Next day in his office karan was in his cabin suddenly his senior came there 

Karan : Mr Verma i am really i couldnt do it 

Mr Verma : Dont be upset karan you did as much as you could who would have ever thought kevin could commit suicide 

Karan : No sir i should have been more carefull 

Mr verna : You are an efficient officer in our brach we dont have any doubt about that this time we got unlucky but i have a plan 

Karan : Whats that ?

Mr Verma : Kevin used to work in a bank in goa he has family a wife and a daughter we should keep an eye on them may be they could know about anything 

Karan : But we need to find that pen drive because thats so important we dont even know whats there next plan 

Mr Verma : I will send someone to goa and will take care of it i think you need some days off 

Karan : No sir i cant take rest until i solve this case we have to stop this before they could do any thing furthur i will go to goa just leave it on me i feel humhe wahan kuch na kuch zarur milega 

Mr verma : Can you do that by your own ?

Karan : Ofcourse sir if i need anything i will surely ask you for that

Mr verma tapped his shoulder and said

13 Days later when karan reched to kevin's house he got to know that they went to the church for kevin's prayer meet so karan took a cab and went to the church 

When he reached there the prayer meet was already over and everyone was leaving the place there he saw priya for the first time she was wearing a long black colored dress there was a girl beside her she was still sobbing and priya trying to console her 

Karan took off his shade and muttered 

she could be the wife i guess when he was staring at them priya sensed that and she looked ahead but karan hide himself behind a giant tree 

After priya left karan exhale a deep breath and muttered 

Thank god she didnt see me here 

After priya left the church with her daughter karan quickly called a cab and told the driver to follow that red car 

After sometime when they went inside the house karan got down from the cab and went infront of the gate 

Seeing him there an old lady from the neighbourhood got curious and she asked karan 

Miss Alves : Are you looking for someone dear ??

Karan startled and looked at her

He couldnt understand what to say he was moving his eyes arround just then he stopped he saw a advertisement there

Room for rent..

He cleared his throat and replied

Karan : Umm actually i am looking for a house

Miss alves : Oh but you shouldnt go there now come back later someday dear

Karan : Why ?

Miss alves : Poor girl she lost her husband few days back thats why i am saying

Karan : Oh thats sad okay i will be back later

He quickly took a picture of that advertisement and smirked..
