The Missing Pieces
Rumor has it, that you can hear the same story from someone else's point of view and receive an entirely different story. I believe that rumor. A story is more than its ending. It is the journey.
I bet you all have heard of Alex's story by now. If you haven't there is no need to worry. I am going to retell it. Only I'm going to fill in all of the missing pieces.
Every black out. Every question left unanswered. Every missing piece.
Honestly Alex played a small a part in ending what Husky High considers to be the Camp Wars.
Every summer three camps three camps open their doors to provide an outlet to teens. Camp Freedom, Camp Pride and Camp Willie. All of the kids living in the area would flood over and spend two months away from their parents at a camp of their choosing.
The main camp event would be the Lake Nyrae Karate tournament for bragging rights and extra funding.
That was until the forgotten fourth camp, Camp Maindo resurfaced. The camp that Alex and I fought so hard to save.
In order to fill in all of the pieces I need to take you back to a time before even I knew that the forgotten forth camp existed.
The story where Alex and I attempted to save Camp Maindo. If you haven't figured it out yet, this is Lachelle. Now you can see the story through my eyes. I must warn you the story is much darker, as I travel through the world of the unknown.
Do you wish to continue? Yes or No?
Message to the readers: Welcome back. You guessed it. I entered another contest and upon several request I will tell Lachelle's story. It is going to be a lot longer due to the word count so just bare with me. Lucky I get to dive in to more of the side characters' background so it should be a lot of fun. If you read the story and have any questions that you need to be answer please comment below and I promise I will try to make sense of the nonsense that is my mind.
Again thank you all for the support of this story. Mental illness is a close topic to my heart and at the end of the day people with mental illness are still people. On February 6, 2019 the Mental Health First Aid USA stated that 46.4 percent of adults will experience some sort of mental illness during their lifetime.
It is a topic not talked about often and honestly not represented in a positive light. So let me be that first step. That curiosity to further your education. Let me fill in, The Missing Pieces.
