The Teller

"Are you sure she's going to be alright?" I asked the sage.

"She'll be fine. I'll seal some chakra of nine tail beasts inside of her. All of them with a different seals for they can't form the ten tails." He said placing Tsukiko stone table. He made hand signs and nine beast with different number of tails appeared circling around Tsukiko.

"Shukaku, Matatabi, Isobu, Son Gokū, Kokuo, Saiken, Chomei, Gyūki, and Kurama. Listen to me. I'll seal some of your chakra into this child. You're to protect her no matter what. Once this sphere is broken she'll be force to live a harsh life. But I trust you will help her. If a horrible event is to happen to her make sure to erase it from her memory or alternate them. Understood?" The sage said.

"Why do we need to do something for her?" One of the beast said.

"Because Son Gokū, she'll be the one to restore peace to this world we live in." He responded.

"She's still too young, too weak to protect herself." The cat like creature said.

"In deed she is Matatabi, but you need to show her how to become strong. This is why I'll seal part of you inside her. This is the last time I'll be see all of you. All I ask of you is to care for Tsukiko. Can I trust you?" He said looking at all of them then at me.

"Yes." They all said.

"Great, I'll start with Shukaku then I'll go down the line." The sage said making hand signs and making Shukaku step forward.

"Take care of her." I said to him before the sage sealed half of him inside Tsukiko.

I watched as he made all the beasts step forward one by one. After he finished he released all the beasts. I watched as some of them tried to hide their tears. I couldn't help but cry at their site. I looked back at Tsukiko and noticed how her sphere didn't break nor she grown. The sphere stopped her by doing so. For years I've been putting my chakra into her to keep her alive but now with the tailed beast she won't need much chakra from me.

"I want you to take Tsukiko away from here." The sage said making me look at him.

"Why?" I asked confused.

"She's not safe here. My sons will find her and will want to kill her. Please run away from here and never come back. Even if you were to die make someone take your place." He said handing me Tsukiko.

"I don't understand. Why must I do this? Why can't you find someone else to do this besides-"

"Because you won't let anyone hurt her. You care too much for this child. You must be the one to protect her until that sphere breaks." He said laying down on his bed. He wasn't lying. I have gotten to attach to Tsukiko. She's like my daughter. My angel. My special child.

"Her hair is changing colors." He said smiling at her. I noticed it too and smiled.

"It could be the beasts inside of her." I said and he shook his head.

"No, they're no beasts, they're her friends. They're her family." He said looking up at the ceiling.

"You should go before someone comes and notices that the child is gone. Good luck on your long term mission Kimimaru." I was shocked to hear him say my name. He never said it and I never wanted him but now he said my name.

"Yes, I'll be on my way my lord." I said walking away from him.

"Bye Kimimaru." He said one last time before I left.

I ran as fast and far as I could. I keep checking to see if Tsukiko was okay and if she needed any chakra. Fortunately she was secured. I reached a small hill not to far from the palace. I looked back at the palace one last time before walking away with Tsukiko in my arms.

"Our new life begin Tsukiko. The question is why now?" I said as I walked deeper into the forest.
