Nomei

It's been twenty years since Shira passed away. She told me to take care of Tsukiko and explained to me everything that happened to her before someone gave her Tsukiko. I enjoyed hearing her stores but now she's gone. The last thing she told me was to go back to the Hidden Leaf Village. So I did.

I came her with a girl named Kushina that I use to watch over. Kushina would always help me out with the kids at the orphanage. She would always talk about how she wanted to have her own kids someday. And that day was coming.

"Hey Nomei?" Kushina said.

"What?"

"What do you think boy or girl?" She said all excited.

"Boy no doubt." I said and she laughed.

"What makes you so sure about that?" She said pointing at me.

"Because you'll have Tsukiko to take care of. And Tsukiko needs a brother to protect her." I said looking down at Tsukiko.

"When do you think that sphere going to pop?" She said tapping the sphere.

"I don't know? It has some scratches here and there but it hasn't pop." I said smiling at her.

"Well, I still can't believe that Tsukiko was born since the time of the sage of the six paths ya know? It just doesn't make sense?" Kushina said as we walked into the compound.

"Well if it isn't Uzumaki and Hyuga. Kushina, Nomei."

"Hi Mikoto, where's Itachi?" I asked as we started walking with each other.

"Back home with his father." Mikoto said.

"So when are you due?" I asked and she gave me a smile.

"This month." She said and Kushina smiled in excitement.

"I can't wait for your son to be born ya know." Kushina said and I giggled.

"What about you Nomei? That sphere is going to break at any time." Mikoto said.

"It does have a few scratches but I don't think she'll be out of that right now." I said and both of them giggled.

"What is it?" I said looking at both of them.

"Well, my son will be older than her by days, weeks, or month." Mikoto said.

"And mine could be twins or she could be older than mine." Kushina said. We looked at each other then laughed.

"Well whatever happens I just wish that she'll be fine." I finally said.

"My too." Both of them said and that just made us laugh even more.

"Well we need to get going. Bye Mikoto, we'll see you later." I said walking away from her.

"Hope everything turns out fine for all three of us. Bye Mikoto." Kushina said before joining me on our way back to the village.

*September 28*

"Hurry! We need to get you out of the village." Minato said to me.

"We won't make it in time!" I said as we ran through the village.

"Yes we will." Minato said taking out one of his special kunai.

"Hold on to me and don't let go." He said wrapping his arm around me.

"Nomei! Minato! Be careful!" Kushina shouted as we flew off.

"This should be far enough." Minato said letting go of me.

"Alright Tsukiko, you can break free." I said to the glowing sphere. This morning the sphere Tsukiko has been in started to glow. Me on the other hand started to feel weak as if my chakra was being stolen from me.

"Nomei stay near me just in case we need to escape." Minato said. I nodded then place Tsukiko on the ground.

I watched as her hair turned white. Her skin was pale and her eyes looked like the Sharingan of an Uchiha but also like the my clan's eyes. She also had rings in her eyes that I've never seen before.

"Nomei! Get down!" Minato said tackling me down on the ground.

We watched as a colorful light spread throughout the land. It seemed as if everyone had seen it. I looked up to see a bright white light in front of me. Then I heard a cry. I stood up quickly and picked Tsukiko up from the ground.

"She's alright. She's okay." I repeated over and over.

"Let's go back to the village." Minato said wrapping Tsukiko in his Hokage coat.

Once we arrived at the village people started to asked questions. They said they saw the light and they wanted to know where it was coming from. Minato assured them that everything was fine. He took me and Tsukiko to the hospital where Kushina was waiting.

"Nomei! How's the baby?" Kushina said as I entered the hospital.

"She fine do you want to see her?" I said and she nodded. Minato took his coat away from me to reveal little Tsukiko.

"She's so beautiful. Her hair is so white and her skin is so pale." Kushina said running her hand threw Tsukiko hair.

"Come on Nomei, you and Tsukiko need to rest." Minato said guiding me to a room.

"Thank you." I said as I laid on the hospital bed with Tsukiko next to me. I looked over at Kushina and then at Minato. I felt my heart hurt and my breathing started getting heavy.

"Can you guys promise me something?" I said and they worried.

"Well of course but why this all of a sudden?" Kushina asked. I looked at down then back at them.

"I was told that once the sphere that protected Tsukiko is broken the person who takes care of her dies. I only have little time left with her. I know you're waiting for a baby but I know Tsukiko will help you become better parents." I said trying to catch my breath. I noticed Kushina's eyes water as she grabbed Minato's hand.

"Nomei, why are you telling us this now?" Kushina said sitting down next to my bed.

"I wasn't the only one who took care of her. I remember the day I met Shira. She was the one who gave me Tsukiko to take care of. She told me the story of when she was given Tsukiko. Shira told me that a woman named Kimimaru gave her Tsukiko. After Kimimaru died Shira had to protect Tsukiko from any danger that was going on back then." I said and I could see that Kushina was trying to hide her tears.

"Don't cry Kushina. Take care of Tsukiko for me, for Shira and for Kimimaru. Don't let anything happen to her please." They we're quite for a while until Tsukiko started to cry.

"Hush little Tsukiko. You'll be fine with Minato and Kushina. They'll care for you and teach you how to be a great shinobi. Who knows, maybe you'll become the first female Hokage." I said smiling at Tsukiko then at Minato and Kushina.

"My time has come. I hope you show her the love she deserves." I said closing my eyes slowly.

"This mission was giving to Kimimaru, then it was pass down to Shira. Now this mission was pass down to me, now to you." I said opening my eyes and looked at them holding Tsukiko in their arms.

"Please take care of her." I said taking my last breath.

Kushina pov

We watched as Nomei stopped breathing. I couldn't help but cry. I lost my friend. I walked over to her and put my hand on her head.

"She's gone Minato." I said looking up at him. He came from behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. One hand on my stomach and the other where Tsukiko was.

"It's okay Kushina. She's watching over us now. We'll do what she told us to do but when our child comes we'll need to find a way to take care of both of them." Minato said smiling at me. I looked at Tsukiko as she rubbed her eyes. She looked at me and the weirdest thing happened. Her eyes changed color and form. I looked at Minato and he shrugged. I looked back at her and she placed her hand on my stomach.

"Kaaah!! Kyuu!!" Tsukiko shouted. I was shocked by what she's said. I looked at Minato but he just smiled.

"Tsukiko, do you know about your brother?" Minato asked. Tsukiko looked at him then back at my stomach.

"Faa.. faaa....faaaa....... wowwow!!!" Tsukiko shouted laughing and clapping.

"What is she talking about" I asked myself

"Tsukiko? She knows I'm here."

"Kyubi? What do you want?" I asked.

"Take her to Yugito or Killer Bee. They'll help with Tsukiko." The demon replied.

"But why?" I got no response from the beat so I sigh and decided to tell Minato about. I just hope nothing happens.
