It had been a few months after the whole 'portal fiasco.' A few months of happiness, excitement, and adventure. A few months of peace and no danger. Why couldn't it have lasted?

Jesse held a piece of paper in her hands. It said: Missing. Lukas: Member of the Order of the Stone and some other details. It showed a picture of him and Jesse smiling happily.

She crumpled up the paper and threw it across the room, then burying her face in her hands. She felt so..miserable.

Everything was going so well. She was finally happy. She was wrong to think that that happiness would last.

Now that Lukas was gone, the Order of the Stone was no longer complete, she wasn't complete. And she didn't know if she would ever be again.

Suddenly, a knock sounded at the door. Sighing and blinking back some tears, Jesse walked over to the door. She took a deep breath and opened it. Jesse gasped.

"HeLLO JEsSe," Harper said, her voice mechanical and eyes glowing red. "DiD yOU MisS mE?"
