Why? WHY? What was the reason? Why did he leave? Why was it, that when everything was going okay, something had to burn it down?

Jesse fell on her knees, tears running down her face as she sobbed, pain racking her body. She clutched her arms as she crumpled to the floor, a note falling out of her hand, crumbled and in messy handwriting; I'm sorry.

Jesse laughed as Lukas put his arm around her, grinning. She smirked, and then grabbed him by the shirt collar and pulled him into a kiss.

After a few moments, they pulled away, faces red and both of them smiling.

"I love you, you know that?" Lukas asked, putting a strand of Jesse's hair behind her ear. She put her arms around his neck.

"I love you too blondie," she replied, messing up his hair as he laughed.

Love is a magical thing, but who says it can't be cruel?
