Tails' P.O.V

Wait, what? So, from what I understand... Shadow is in my brother's body and Sonic is in Silver's... that must mean Silver is in Shadow's. When did this happen? And my brother has a date? And on top of that, Shadow has a fear of heights?! And Sonic... spiders? Really? I mean, it makes sense, considering my brother has a record for being scared of ridiculous things. Water, clowns, and newly discovered, spiders. "No problem, Shadz." I hear Silver- Ah! I mean I hear my brother say.

I heard them walking towards the door so I rushed down the stairs and started working on my invention. This is how I'll test my theory... I see the two hedgehogs enter the kitchen. "Oh, hi Sonic! Hi Silver! Did you have a nice talk?" "Mhm. Yeah..." 'Sonic' says. I know this must be Shadow, but he's smiling... genuinely! Did Sonic's words help him feel that much better?

I smirk. "Well, I was just working on my invention real quick before I eat... what do ya think? It's called the 'Slimy Sticker'." "I think that's awesome, bud!" He grins and gives me a thumbs up. My smirk grows after he speaks and I shoot him with it. He lets out a yelp when a green ooze sticks him to the wall. 

My brother, who was supposedly in Silver's body, was about to pick me up with his newly founded telekinesis. (Guys, I figured it out, Silver has "telekinesis" not "psychokinesis".) But, before he could do so, I shot him with the same machine and he went flying into the wall, next to his now blue rival, stuck in the green ooze. Both hedgehogs groaned.

'Sonic' glared at me. "What the hell, fox?!" He yells, biting his lip after realizing what he said. "Sh- I mean Sonic, you idiot!" 'Silver' yells at him. 'Sonic' snickers at 'Silver' for basically calling himself dumb. I snicker a bit before clearing my throat and speaking. "I already knew." The two hedgehogs look at me with wide eyes. "What do you mean you already knew..?" My brother asks. I smirk once again. "Well, I listened into your little conversation a bit."

Shadow looked visibly disturbed. "How much did you hear..?" "Everything." Shadow groans. "Oh, chaos..." I chuckle. "Your secrets are safe with me." I pat Shadow on the head only to earn a growl from the now blue hedgehog. "Great, I can drop this act..." Shadow remarks. "You don't make a bad Sonic though. I honestly wouldn't've figured it out unless you got angry or I listened to you talking." Shadow rolls his eyes.

"See?! That's what I'm saying! It's weird!" Sonic says, agreeing with me. I use the sucker option on my machine to get the sticky ooze off of them. Sonic yelps when I do it because he has a lot of fur on his body now, but Shadow now has the least fur of the three swapped hedgehogs, so he was fine. "It felt like a wax..." Sonic complained. "An all body wax? How would you know what waxing feels like?" Shadow questions. "How do you think I keep the fur off my arms? Can't traumatize the fans, can we?" Shadow rolls his eyes.

Me and Shadow raise an eyebrow. "What about the belly patch?" I ask, pointing to Shadow's chest and stomach area. "Naturally smooth.~" He says, giving Shadow a light smack on the stomach, earning a startled noise from the hedgehog. Shadow blushes lightly and crosses his arms across his stomach area. Did Sonic just... WHAT?!

Shadow's P.O.V

(Well, I have now.)

Did Sonic just-? I-I can't believe it... faker just smacked my stomach... That was... weird. He did it like it was nothing... but it felt more than that. It felt- "Hello?~ Mobius to Shadow.~" I snap back to reality, watching Silver- Sonic! I mean Sonic! Or- No! I mean Faker! UGH! DAMN IT!!! I mentally groan and then sigh. Anyways... I saw Sonic wave his hand in front of my face. I sigh. "I-I'm fine, Faker." He seemed skeptical, but seemed to have brushed it off. "Ok, ok... whatever."

The way he smacked my stomach though... in a playful way... i-it felt weird. I now felt flutters in my stomach as it twisted every which way. I once again froze, my thoughts racing now. I take a deep breath and slowly come back into focus...

Sonic's P.O.V 

I watched Shadow in curiosity as Tails gave me an unsure look. Tails broke this increasingly uncomfortable silence. Thank, chaos. "So... Sonic, you have a date..? With whom?" Nevermind! Nevermind! I wanna go back to the silence! Shadow sighs. Nononono! Don't tell, Shadow! I'm begging!!

Of course, Shadow told him anyways. "Faker here apparently has a date with Rose, which I now have to go through because of him." "I would've gladly canceled if you weren't so eager to hear about it." I retorted. "Well, you just aren't the type to get a lady on your tail. Makes sense it's Rose, though. Wouldn't expect it to be anyone else." Shadow mocks while I growl at him.

I roll my eyes. "It's platonic anyways. I don't care about it." "Then why, this morning, did you fuss about how I did your quills? According to you, they'll get messed up anyways." "Yeah, but you're too much of a wuss to get on any of the rides." "I cannot control my phobia, ok?"

We start to argue for a while until Tails buts in. "Both of you, stop. Or I'll shoot you with the Slimy Sticker again." We immediately shut up. "I'll call Silver over and he can help me try to fix this situation you're all in. Sonic, prep Shadow for the date. We don't want people freaking out, so don't tell anyone." Tails instructs us.

So, I have to help Shadow get ready for this date? No big deal. It shouldn't be THAT hard... right?

(Welp, I finally gave an update! Sorry it took so long, motivation's been a real pain. I'll try to keep the updates to under a week. Here's a decently long chapter to make up for it. 1022 words. Bye!)
