No one POV.

No one, not even the Waynes would suspect a rat of being a spy. Or so you should think, Lester followed the youngest of the Waynes around the city for a entire day and had no problems doing so. Mostly because Gotham really has a massive rat problem, anyways that changed rather quickly once they came to Wayne Manor.
Lester equally how hard he tries finds no way into the Manor, which frustrates the rat to no end. Normally he could get into any house even Manors, so why couldn't he get in this one!

Lester :,,Stupid Humans."

What Lester didn't know was that he was being watched.

Damian :,,See!"

Damian points at Lester who was visible to the CCTV Cameras.

Damian :,,That thing has been following me the entire day already."

Dick :,,Is that one of Ratcatchers?"

Tim shakes his head :,,I don't think Flannegan (Ratcatcher) would only send one rat. He would send several."

Jason :,,Should I kill it?"

Bruce :,,No leave it be, maybe after it realises that it can't get in it will return to where it came from."

Damian :,,We follow it?"

Bruce just nods as he keeps his eyes on the screen.

The sun was already setting as Lester finally decided to go back to Will.

Lester :,,The boss won't be happy."

Will had promised him more parmesan meatballs for this job and he was pretty sure that Will wasn't interested in how many windows the Manor has. Well atleast he got a little bit of information as he was following the youngest Wayne. But sadly it wasn't much, the only thing he learned from him was about a guy named Alfred and what they get for dinner tonight. Nothing what Will wanted, well maybe he still gets the meatballs.

Lester :,,Finally!"

Lester was standing infront of Will's window and saw the blonde sitting on his desk doing something. He tapped on the window to get the attention of the Son of Apollo, Will hearing the taps turns around and smiles as he sees the rat. He quickly walks over and opens the window for Lester to let him in.

Will :,,So what did you find out?"

Will asked after Lester made himself comfortable on Will's bed.

Lester :,,Not much. I was following the youngest Wayne around all day with no problems but I wasn't able to get into their house. That thing is more of a fortress then a house."

Will :,,Did you learn anything interesting while following the other one?"

Lester :,,Not really. All I learned was a name and what they will have for dinner but nothing else."

There was a silence in the room with Will having a thoughtful expression on his face.

Lester :,,Ahm.... do I still get the meatballs?"

Will sighed as he closed his eyes :,,They are on the table."

Lester :,,Yes! Thank you!"

Lester quickly went over to the table while Will rubbed his face, taking the first meatball Lester turned to Will.

Lester :,,Maybe he smells of that Lazarus water because he was in contact with someone who took a bath in it?"

Will shakes his head :,,Unlikely, the smell was strong and clear. If he only was in contact with one who took a bath in Lazarus Water then the smell would be faint. But his was strong...... to strong."

Will stands up and quickly walks over to his bookshelf, he grabs a brown old looking book and starts to skip through the pages.

Will :,,Here it is!"

He walks over to his table and puts the book down so that Lester can see it aswell, even so the rat can't read.

Will :,,Here! The intensity of the smell is dependent on the severity it was used for. The strongert the smell the stronger the smell is. But what could they have done to him that the smell is so strong."

Lester :,,Brought him back from the dead maybe?"

Lester said this as a joke but as he saw Will's face pale he realised that he may have hit the nail on the head.

Will :,,A couple of years ago Jason Todd was declared dead only to turn up alive a few years later. Bruce Wayne said that he was kidnapped and that they had to fake his death because of it. But now I think there might be more to it."

Then all of a sudden Will smelled it, the sweet rotting smell of the Lazarus water. Will quickly turns around in a fighting stance only to see Red Hood coming through his window.
They stare at each other in suprise, Red Hood suprised that he was caught and Will being suprised at seeing Red Hood.

Red Hood :,,Well.... this is awkward."

Will looks at Red Hood with wide eyes before he realised something. Red Hood turned up a few months before Jason Todd was declared alive again and both of them smell of Lazarus Water. That can't be a coincidence right?

Will :,,Jason?"

Red Hood steps fully into his room, the smell of the Lazarus water becoming even stronger now.

Red Hood :,,Don't know who you are talking about kid."

Will :,,Holy Shit! Jason Todd is Red Hood!"

Red Hood :,,I am not Jason Todd!"

Will :,,Oh really then why do you smell like a Lazarus Pit?"

Red Hood :,,What?"

Will :,,...... shit, shouldn't have said that."

Will groaned at his own stupidity. Why did he need to say that? Couldn't he just shut up as he still had the chance? No and because of that he ends up in situations like this, tied down to a chair in the middle of a cave, surrounded by high tech bat themed equipment and with a angry looking Jason Todd infront of you. Which is also bad considering the smell of the Lazarus pit that slowly but surely makes you become dizzy with each breath you take even if you breath through your mouth. If you haven't guessed it yet, Lazarus water has quite the effect on Apollo kids.

Jason :,,Talk"

Will looked at the ground trying to keep his breathing under control.

Will :,,I would.... but could please someone else interrogate me."

Jason :,,I am not good enough for you?"

Will :,,No but I am about to throw up because of the smell."

Will was sure he was about to pass out at any moment but that was when the smell became less. He looked up only to see the Dark Crusade himself sitting infront of him.
Finally able to breath normally again Will let out a sigh of relief.

Batman :,,You better?"

Will nods :,,Yeah sorry about that but the smell of Lazarus water has quite the effect on me."

Batman :,,I can tell. Are you a meta?"

Will nods again :,,Yeah, my powers are quite... weird to say the least though."

This was a lie, yeah a son of Apollo can lie if he has to. Chiron once told them to use if mortals should ever see them use their powers.

Batman :,,How did you find out that Red Hood is Jason?"

Will :,,Well as you probably realised I can smell the Lazarus water and I met Jason before. That is when I smelled it on him."

Batman :,,Is that why you send a rat to spy on him and his family?"

Will :,,Yes.... I can also talk to rats."

Batman :,,You are also quite skilled in medical things. Who teached you?"

Will :,,My older half brothers, though alot of it is self thought."

Batman :,,Do you know the identity on anyone else of our team?"

Will :,,Well considering that Jason Todd is Red Hood and that we are surrounded by high tech equipment that probably costs a few million dollars. Well let's say that I do have some ideas of who you guys are."

Batman eyes narrow he was about to say something as Will interrupted him.

Will :,,No fear I won't tell anyone. If I wanted to expose you guys then I would have done it as I was treating Nightwing."

Batman looks at Will for a little bit longer before nodding.

Batman :,,Good but I have to make sure. I will bring you back to the orphanage now, but I will leave Red Robin there to watch over you and tomorrow someone will be there to pick you up."

Will :,,Pick me up? For what?"

Batman :,,Since you figured Jason's identity out and you have a guess who I and the others are it has become to risky for us to leave you unsupervised."

Will :,,That sounds like you want to get rid of me."

Batman :,,You will see."
